All data collected within the CHNA 20 catchment will be shared with our coalitions Community results will help to improve how information about treatment is shared and how parents evaluate treatment Data is confidential - number identification used

Survey asks both substance and mental health questions After completing the 25-45 minute survey, the parent electronically receives either a $10 or $20 Amazon gift card (email becomes confidential) If your coalition wants to share the study with your parents, please forward the link below.

Milton Event Information Flyer Something to Think About... Language Matters: Could Your Coalition Be Contributing to Substance Stigma?

I recently attended a Sharon Coalition event where John Kelly, PhD, spoke about language and stigma. Stigma remains the biggest barrier to addiction treatment faced by patients. The science of addiction has begun to show how the language we use around the issues of substance misuse impacts outcomes. Please follow the link to Dr. Kelly's research study done on the impact of language. After, you may want to share this article with your members and discuss the ways in which your coalition can encourage, support and enlighten your community; it might even mean a coalition name change.
