To make the most matches.
Set Up
Remove the Old Doc card from the deck. Shuffle the cards and lay them out face down in a square (6 by 6). Make sure that cards do not overlap or touch each other.
Playing the Game
1. The youngest player goes first (Player 1) by turning over two cards. If the cards have the same image, Player 1 picks the cards up and places them in front of him/her. 2. P layer 1 continues turning over two cards at a time until he/she does not make a match. 3. I f the cards turned over do not match, Player 1 turns the cards back over so they are face down in the same position, and his/her turn is over. 4. Play passes to the left. 5. The key is to watch each time a player turns over cards and try to remember where to find matching images when it is your turn. 6. The game ends when all matches are made.
Winning
The player with the most matches wins.

I f the card matches one he already has in his hand, he must put the pair down. If not, he keeps it. 5. P lay proceeds clockwise, so the player to the left of the dealer then offers his hand, face down, to the player on his left.
