Vibrant. -- bluGarden Events Hits the “Refresh” Button on Traditional Industry Shows with the 1st Annual NY Bridal & Quince Expo (NY BQE) Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 PM at The Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens New York, New York – February xx, 2015 - Gone are the dark hotel ballrooms and bland convention centers with nothing but row after row of exhibitors. Make way for the NY BQE, New York's premiere expo for today's modern brides and quinceañeras. Within a visually stunning, stylish and culturally diverse environment, the expo will replicate the real life excitement of a wedding or quince with live entertainment, food and drinks while featuring up to 75 exhibitors in all categories of the wedding and special events industry. The NY BQE will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 PM at The Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens located at 36-01 35th Avenue, Astoria, NY 11106. The NY BQE will feature local, regional and national exhibitors offering their services and products at reduced prices, along with valuable planning advice and inspiration to hundreds of brides, quinceañeras and guests. Two such exhibitors set to wow attendees are celebrity fashion designer Adan Terriquez, known for his “Princesas De Jenni Rivera” gowns, and shoe designer Burju Perez of Burju Shoes, whose shoes were worn by the entire celebrity cast of Season 11 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars and will debut her new and exclusive Bridal collection. Other special show features include an Entertainment Showcase with live ceremony musicians, bands, dance performances and full production DJs; a Beauty Lounge with hairstylists and makeup artists providing complimentary makeovers and on-trend beauty tips; a Yumminess Spread with a food sampling area for appetizers, desserts, and specialty drinks; a Fashion Shows with the latest trends in formalwear, shoes, and accessories; all under one roof. The NY BQE will offer thousands of dollars in door prizes, goodie bags, exhibitor raffles, gift cards, and two spectacular giveaways. The Platinum Quince Giveaway offers one deserving young lady a complete, all-inclusive dream quince. The quinceañera must be nominated by a member of her community and submit a brief letter describing her volunteer work and commitment to serving others by February 28, 2015. The Battle of the Brides, sponsored by Devotion Diamond is a deliciously messy contest where five eager and determined brides dig through wedding cakes with just one goal: be the bride to find a jewelry box containing her wedding day bling.
