Dear Friends, This year we celebrate the 64th Anniversary of A Day in The Country Horse Show. Welcome! A Day in the Country Horse Show is more than a schooling show; it's a family and friends event for show and pleasure riders and their allies. Compete, have fun, and support a peaceful, good cause. Everyone welcome to tailgate and spectate, cheer for riders of all ages, and visit our horse-sized open air photo booth! We'll give awards to the best tailgate display and high point trainer of the show. This year, we've added a lunch break, grouped the adult classes together, and added two jumper classes. The
GRTA
is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and protecting green
spaces in Greenwich, helping save honey bees, and maintaining a 94-acre nature preserve. There is no cost for admission, but for those who want to go the extra mile, we have many sponsors opportunities listed below. Thank you in advance for your support! Sincerely, A Day in the Country Committee

A DAY IN THE COUNTRY LOGO The logo for A Day in the Country, featuring a mother and daughter on their mounts, was created by Ann Claiborne Pierce, mother of longstanding GRTA Board member Nancy Pierce Chapin. The logo embodies the spirit of A Day in the County, which for more than 60 years has been a family-oriented, fun show for riders and non-riders, young and the young at heart. Ann was active in the Greenwich equestrian community for decades as a rider, backyard barn owner, Pony Club official, and open space supporter. We miss her!
