UE
Welcome to another CAPERS catalogue. We have started 2016 with one significant change, and lots of event planning. Our new website* was launched in January. We are still making changes but I’m sure you’ll find it user-friendly. We’d love to have your feedback. (*The website address is still www.capersbookstore.com.au) Dr Nils Bergman will tour again for CAPERS in May 2016 – Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Wellington and Auckland. Your early support for these events is appreciated: The flyer is available to download from the website, and we can also send this to you as an attachment. If you’d like to distribute more flyers to your colleagues, contact the office so we can mail them to you.

Email contact is preferred. Thank you for your support of a small family business, owned by working mothers since 1987.
Our 2016 Midwifery Workshops start with Shea Caplice speaking about Waterbirth on 17 March and the following day, Rachel Reed will present Using Evidence in Midwifery Practice. This year, we are only able to include Melbourne and Brisbane, but we would consider taking some of the workshops to other places if we have good local support. We have arranged the workshops in 2-day packages, to provide a more attractive incentive if you do need to travel. Our very popular Managing Birth Variations and Complications 2-day Workshop (with Rachel Reed) will be presented once in 2016 – in Brisbane 10/11 September. Register early to avoid disappointment. We are already working on the 2017 The Passage to Motherhood Conference (and other 2017 events). Join eNews for updates on the precise dates in May and the Brisbane venue, keynote speakers and the Call for Abstracts. We are thrilled to be offering this Conference again – the feedback from 2015 was wonderful and we are incorporating some new things. This year, for the first time in nearly 30 years, we are not distributing a printed copy of the catalogue. We are conscious of the environmental impact, and as more people want to receive less paper, we have placed the catalogue online only. You can print specific pages or the whole catalogue from the website. (However, it is still a small selection from the website.) We did mail event flyers, so if you didn’t receive these, please email the office so we can add you to the database. Best wishes for a wonderful year ahead
