Research Competences In the fields of vehicle engineering and vehicle manufacturing our goal is to remain the country’s leading research centre, and strengthen our position in the region. To achieve these goals the recently established Autonomous Vehicle Research Center (RECAR) is contributing effectively. In the field of transportation we are not only dealing with modelling and developing the information system of transport sectors (urban, road and rail), but also designing complex operational management systems. Through our high-quality research capability, we contribute to the spread of deploying modern intelligent transport systems at European level. In addition to our extensive professional expertise in the field of logistics, we are also expanding to special areas (e.g. city logistics) that are crucial for the country’s economic development. Our goal is to educate future engineers, to strengthen the scientific community with our research results and to use our experimental results in practice within industrial projects.
