President’s Message

Timothy A Hess, DDS, MAGD

Plaques and Parchment versus Patients

In organized dentistry, it is easy to get caught up in the meetings, titles and politics. Sometimes we lose sight of who we are here for: the patient! I hope our current University of Washington School of Dentistry graduates with all their debt don’t forget dentistry is a service and healthcare profession. We are entrusted with our patient’s well-being and we can’t lose sight of that. Next time someone starts to tell you about the return on investment of a new piece of dental equipment, ask yourself “Will it allow me to treat my patient better than I am now?” You may save yourself $20,000 on a piece of equipment that will end up being a coat rack. A coat rack that sits and mocks you daily from the corner of an operatory and makes your blood pressure rise every time you look at it.

Recently, I had one of the most meaningful dental conversation of my professional I must thank Dr. Linda Edgar reaching out to me years ago to be her Secretary. I have career with one of my mentors, Dr. Richard D. Tucker, at the Northlake Tavern. We enjoyed being involved with the Seattle-King County Dental Society and its Executive Council in different roles. I believe that part of taking care of our patients is being were discussing the recent passing of his father, Dr. Richard V. Tucker. involved in organized dentistry. Protecting the doctor/patient relationship is key. This Dr. R.D. Tucker described to me as he was going through his dad’s belongings he relationship is being eroded by many dental service organizations and dental benefit found a trunk full of Dr. George Ellsperman’s plaques, awards, certificates and other companies. Ultimately, when we fight for the profession, it is the patient we serve. pieces of parchment. Many of us in the Academy of RV Tucker Study Clubs (ARVTSC) Please consider this when you are asked to represent the profession in King County, know that Dr. R.V. Tucker’s mentor was Dr. George Ellsperman. He introduced him Olympia, Washington D.C. or even at your Rotary Club or similar organization. to excellence in restorative dentistry and the pursuit and teaching of that excellence through study clubs. The ARVTSC are unique study clubs where the members prepare Dr. Richard V. Tucker received the ADA 2015 Distinguished Service Award. Months and seat inlays, onlays and crowns monthly in front of their colleagues and mentoring before his death, Dr. Tucker told the ADA News that he wanted only to be dentist. Dr. R.V. Tucker practiced and mentored study clubs until he was 90 years old. remembered for being one thing. “A good dentist.” As your outgoing SKCDS President, that’s how I want to be remembered: As a good dentist. I asked Dr. R.D. Tucker “What are you going to do with the trunk load of Dr. Ellersperman’s memorabilia?” He said “I threw it out. All meaningless now. Zero value to anyone.” I tried to articulate a reason why it would be important to save that trunk of stuff. My wife will tell you, I can be a little bit of an “archiver” but it seemed to be such a loss of Washington state dental history. Dr. R.D. Tucker smiled and shook his head. He then said “It’s about the people. The awards, the memberships in academies, the plaques, are meaningless. The most important thing is taking good care of our patients.” It was refreshing to re-hear that simple message. A message from one of the most talented, humble and giving dentists I know. It made me stop and consider how I was thinking about my professional career and measuring success or achievement.

4 l 2017 SKCDS SPRING QUARTERLY

Just before we were leaving I asked Dr. R.D. Tucker if he was going to throw out his dad’s plaques and other awards. He again looked at me, smiled and shook his head and said “No, I am too close to that stuff. In the future, someone else can do that.” Thank you for allowing me to serve this past year.

The term does not require a supervising dentist to be physically present in the operatory. An EFDA may provide identified supportive services under either close or general supervision of a dentist. The Dental Quality Assurance Commission (Commission) rule amendments update the scope of practice (listing of allowable and prohibited tasks that may and may not be performed) for registered dental assistants and licensed expanded function dental auxiliaries (EFDAs). LIFE MEMBERS 2017

The following biographies introduce our 2017 Life Members, These individuals have held tripartite membership for 30 years or more.

Dr. D. Ian Bell Dr. Bell graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1978. He received a degree in Chemistry from the UW and rowed crew for the Huskies. In his very first year after graduation he accepted a position as a clinical instructor in Dr. Robert Faucher’s restorative dentistry class of 2nd year students. That same year he met his future wife, who was in a dental hygiene program at Shoreline Community College, where Dr. Bell was also was a clinical instructor in restorative dentistry. He established his dental practice from scratch in a new building in Bellevue in 1980. Originally he thought he’d become an orthodontist. But, with continued knowledge, he realized he wanted to be the quarterback, so to speak - working with other specialists and coordinating treatment between periodontics, orthodontics, and restorative dentistry. He was influenced greatly by the knowledge, skill, judgment, and experience of Drs. Faucher, Ralph Yuodelis, John Kois and Frank Spear. While attending one of Dr. Spear’s early presentations, he had a flash of enlightenment; and he decided right then and there what he wanted to do - advanced aesthetic & restorative dentistry at the highest level possible! It’s been incredibly rewarding changing people’s lives by creating an optimal level of health, strength, function and aesthetics in the health of patients’ teeth and smiles. He belongs to the Interlake Dental Study Club and Dr. Jim Janakievski’s comprehensive interdisciplinary treatment planning study club in Tacoma. Attending the annual meetings of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry is a top priority as is the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics annual meeting. Dr. Bell says he loves dentistry so much he actually can’t see himself not doing it! He says it matches well with his OCD & neurosis. “Hell, I’m 66 years old and in December I gutted and totally updated and remodeled my entire Bellevue office. I’m just getting started. Great project, great fun!” Dr. Bell and his wife Janie, of 36 years, attend Husky football games, golf- frequently at Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville - and like fine wine. They also enjoy the Bellevue Club, Columbia Tower Club and Gold’s Gym in Redmond. They are proud of their two wonderful children, Caitlyn and Bryce. Caitlyn is a dentist and is finishing up a periodontal residency at Loma Linda University. She is engaged to be married this coming August and has been asked to join a periodontal practice in La Jolla, California. Their son, Bryce, literally lives on Wall Street and works in investment banking for Barclay’s in New York. Dr. John Bush Dr. John Bush was born and raised in a farm town, pop. 1500, in East Central Illinois. His grandfather and father were both dentists and spent their entire careers there. His grandfather graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1902 and practiced until 1947. Dr. Bush still has his original wooden dental chair, circa. 1870, wooden instrument case from dental school and many office artifacts, including several items his grandfather developed and manufactured, on display in his office. His father graduated from IU School of Dentistry in 1942 and practiced until 1986. He did a lot of removable prosth and did all the lab work, from set up to finish, as well as all fixed prosth castings. Dr. Bush grew up thinking this was S.O.P and all dentists worked that hard. His father was a gentleman farmer and in addition to his exposure to dentistry, Dr. Bush learned to drive a tractor, build fences, tend to the cattle, drive a gravel truck, etc. He attended IU undergrad and IU SOD, graduating in 1979, and instead of a GP residency he chose to practice with his father. After a year of clinic during the day and lab work into the evening he realized he liked sailing and skiing more than the “aroma of methyl methacrylate in the morning.” Dr. Bush moved to Seattle in late 1980 and has had his office in Northgate since 1983. He does not do lab work anymore, but he has been able to carry on the “small town feel” with his patients and staff. He is on his third generation with many families, and it has been a wonderful experience and pleasure to provide care (and some mirth and merriment) for his “friends.” He extends his best wishes to all. Dr. George Goll Originally, from London, England, Dr. Goll began his studies in dentistry with the UK’s National Health Service. After rotations in all clinical fields including oral surgery and prosthodontics, Dr. Goll decided that prosthodontics was what he was most passionate about. He moved to the United States in 1978 to get his graduate degree at the prestigious University of Washington School of Dentistry where only a handful of candidates are accepted. He earned a Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Washington in 1981. Dr. Goll taught at the University of Washington full time for a year and half time before he began private practice in 1981. In conjunction with his skills learned at the University of Washington, he has been working to perfect his skills and improve the smiles and quality of life for hundreds of patients since. Dr. Goll is a published author and lecturer, and he is a Past President of the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodonticts and the Washington State Society of Prosthodontists. Dr. John Lee Hilton Dr. John Lee Hilton practiced in Redmond for many years until his retirement in 2014. Dr. Hilton graduated from UC San Francisco Dental School in 1979. He lives in Redmond and is a 38-year member of the Tripartite. Dr. Susan Hollinsworth Dr. Hollinsworth was born in Pasco, Washington. She attended University of Washington School of Dentistry, graduating in 1978. While at UW SOD, she served as Student Body President. Upon graduation, she opened her own practice in Kent. She has been active in organized dentistry serving in numerous leadership roles. She was the SKCDS Executive Council President in 2000. She was elected as a Delegate to the House of Delegates between 1996 - 2008, as well as President of the SKCD Foundation. She was on the Board of Directors for WSDA, and the former WOHF, as well as several other organizations. She was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Academy fellowship in 1995, the International College of Dentists Fellowship in 1999 and the American College of Dentists fellowship in 2006. She is active in leadership at the Kent United Methodist Church, as well as volunteering for many local organizations. She has been married to George Adams for 7 years. They enjoy outdoor recreation when they are not working or volunteering for local causes. Dr. Robert Keever Dr. Robert Keever lives in Bellevue and works in Issaquah. He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1979. He is a 38 year tripartite member. Dr. Neil McGee A native of Snohomish, Dr. Neil McGee received a BS in Psychology in 1973 from the University of Washington. He continued his studies at UW, completing his DDS degree in 1977. He has practiced in the Bothell area for over thirty years. Dr. McGee and his wife, Nancy, believe that every person deserves access to proper dental care. They regularly volunteer on the Medical Teams International mobile dental van and have served on dental missions in Honduras and Cambodia. Outside the office, Dr. McGee enjoys skiing, cycling, hiking, climbing, and traveling. He also appreciates a good read, especially history and biography texts. Dr. McGee and his wife attend Bothell First Lutheran, where they have been active in the church community for over 30 years. Dr. Diane McIntyre Dr. Diane McIntyre has been practicing dentistry in Seattle for over 25 years. She was raised overseas and came to Seattle to attend the UW. A highlight was the joy of working six summers as a naturalist at Mount Rainier National Park. The Pacific Northwest has been a wonderful place to raise her family, and she enjoys all the beauty this area offers. Dr. McIntyre has studied with the Spear Institute and completed the mastery curriculum (comprehensive restorative and esthetic dentistry). She is a member of the American Association of Cosmetic Orthodontics, Seattle Comprehensive Study Club, Spear Faculty Club, as well as a 37 year member of the tripartite. Dr. Dale Price Dr. Dale K. Price graduated with multiple honors from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1982 and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Price attended Brigham Young University and Portland State University. Upon his acceptance to dental school, Dr. Price was awarded a National Health Service Corps Scholarship; and, following graduation, he was employed for seven years as a dentist for the Indian Health Service at the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Browning, Montana and at the Puyallup Tribal Health Authority in Tacoma, Washington. In 1989, Dr. Price began private practice dentistry in Auburn where he has practiced dentistry as a sole proprietor for the past 28 years. Dr. Price was raised on a farm in Teton Valley, Idaho. He continues to enjoy the outdoors, fishing, and hiking. He has volunteered for many years with The Boy Scouts of America and received his Eagle Scout rank in 1965 as a member of The Teton Peaks Council, Troop 81. In 1982, as a senior dental student, Dr. Price was asked by Creighton University and Catholic Relief Services (CRS) to serve as a volunteer for two months, treating the refugees encamped along the Thailand-Cambodian border. He is a member of and enjoys giving volunteer service for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dr. Price formerly was a participant in the Dr. Bruce Smith Study Club, and he is currently a member of the L.D.S. Academy (Continued on page 13) 2017 SKCDS SPRING QUARTERLY l 11

Give Kids A Smile and SKCDS This February the ADA’s Give Kids A Smile program celebrated its 15th year. The Give Kids A Smile leaders started the month of February off by ringing the opening bell at NASDAQ, while the GKAS logo was displayed on NASDAQ’s jumbotron, in New York City. Being the largest children’s oral health charitable program in the country and because of this program, as of March 24, 2017, almost three hundred thousand children had been given free dental care. In addition this year, the 3M company donated 400,000 sealants, valued at $250,000, to be placed by participating volunteers. What started off as an event held by Drs. Jeff Dalin and B. Ray Storm, in 2002, that provided dental care to 400 children in St. Louis, has served more than 5.5 million of those in need of dental care. Since 2003, when the ADA, Henry Schein, Proctor & Gamble, and DEXIS adapted the program nationally, over half a million volunteers have participated. As every year, Seattle-King County Dental Society showed full support for Give Kids A Smile program. Our volunteer doctors and their staff took time from their busy schedules to go out in the community and talk to kids about oral health, as well as providing oral health check-ups. At the Central Office, SKCDS staff assembled and delivered over 500 goodie bags that included toothbrushes, toothbrush covers, toothpastes, toothpaste tube squeezers and floss. Thank you for all your participation and support.

Back and Better than Ever! After a one-year hiatus, the New Dentist Boot Camp was offered again on March 25. This is the sixth time SKCDS has presented this one-day course on the basics of practice management. Boot Camp 2017 was a resounding success with nearly 40 practicing dentists, and several students in attendance. The idea is to give young practitioners a “crash course” in starting a practice. By bringing all the necessary vendors in one place a young dentist can get a good idea of what is involved in the process. Whether participants plan to build a new facility, transition an existing practice or simply learn about the players involved, there is something for everyone at Boot Camp. In the summer of 2016, a volunteer Task Force convened to discuss how to bring Boot Camp back and generate new interest in the program. Thanks to Drs. Austin Baruffi, Brad Weinstein, Kim Trieu, and sponsors CJ Williams and George Constantine for their time and effort. Based on analyzing feedback from past events, it was determined that we should have fewer speakers and keep the program a little shorter. We also moved Boot Camp to March since there were fewer scheduling conflicts. SKCDS was delighted to welcome Maggie Boyle, of The Dental Group, who spoke on accounting for the dental practice. Also, CJ Williams, of the Bank of America Practice Solutions, presented information on getting financing. Brittany Brown, with Freiheit & Ho Architects, talked about space planning, and Scott Henderson, with KellerRohrback LLC, talked about contracts and lease negotiations. Finally, George Constantine talked about building your space. Our breakfast and lunch sponsors were Henry Schein and WDIA. We are grateful for their support. In addition to Boot Camp, the Seattle-King County Dental Society’s New Dentist Committee plans events such as the New Dentist program from January to May and regularly scheduled Happy Hours for young dentists and UW SOD students. For information on our programs for young dentists, please contact Sandra Anderson at sandra@skcds.com.

GET FOUND

Sometimes you don’t want to be found. Sometimes you do! When you are a dentist, you want patients to be able to find you easily. In this electronic age, it is important to be present in cyberspace. The ADA is helping members become more available to the public with their recently-improved Find-A-Dentist feature. This feature is quickly becoming one of the highest-ranking SEO options for locating dentists online. If you are not familiar with Find-A-Dentist, we strongly encourage you to discover this new tool. If you are familiar with Find-A-Dentist, we suggest you check out the new improvements the ADA will be launching this spring. Update your profile so that prospective patients can see where you practice, what services you offer, a map to your locations and much more. This free member benefit is another option for reaching new patients with your message. As a bonus, each member who updates their Find-A-Dentist profile before May 1, 2017 will be entered into a drawing to win a 1-year lease of a Mercedes or $10,000 prize incentive. The ADA goal is to get 50,000 complete member profiles by the end of 2017. Interested? Here is what you do: 1. Login to ADA.org/Myada. 2. Input user ID (member number) and password. 3. Fill out the information divided into 3 tabs at the top. Additionally the ADA’s is preparing for a three-year, multi-million dollar marketing campaign to promote tripartite members nationwide. This campaign will primarily focus on electronic media. The innovative ads will drive the public to Find-A-Dentist. You will want to have your profile up-to-date when the public is looking for a dentist in your geographic region. Also, starting April 1, and continuing through May 31, the Seattle-King County Dental Society will be running our own billboard marketing campaign (See article on page 21) which will drive consumers to the Find-A-Dentist website as well. Depending on the success of this campaign, SKCDS will consider expanding to other parts of King County. The ADA will be offering marketing grants for which we plan to apply. If the money is available, we would like to extend our billboard presence into the more rural areas of King County.

We're not the norm… When we realize our doctors are facing exposures beyond professional liability, we work to develop and offer exceptional dentist-specific products. MEMBERSHIP ELECTION RESULTS Congratulations to the winners of the Seattle-King County Dental Society’s most recent election. We appreciate all the members who ran for elected office. Their dedication to organized dentistry is both vital to our success and deeply appreciated. Our new president is Dr. Craig Neal. Dr. Neal has been a member of the Executive Council for the past two years and is a past Treasurer. He has served on the Budget and Finance Committee for several years before that. He is also a SKCDS delegate to the WSDA House of Delegates. Following his graduation from the University of Washington’s School of Dentistry, Dr. Craig then left for New Orleans, Louisiana, where he began an additional six years of education and training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Louisiana State University. He completed his medical education at LSU. Married to fellow SKCDS member, Dr. Michelle Neal, he is the proud father of two children who keep him busy! Our new president elect is Dr. Kirk King. Dr. King obtained his dental degree from the University of Washington after growing on Mercer Island and receiving his undergraduate degree from the UW. He has a general practice in Renton. Dr. King is a current Executive Council member and has served as Treasurer of the Seattle-King County Dental Society and as a delegate from SKCDS to the WSDA. He has served on the Board of Directors of WDIA and also serves on the Board of Directors of DentPAC. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling and scuba diving as well as learning any new ‘techie’ things that come along. We have three new members of the Executive Council. Dr. Austin Baruffi is a general dentist who practices in Tukwila. Dr. Baruffi, after graduating from Loyola Marymount University, attended the University of Southern California’s Dental School. Having grown up in Bellevue, he returned to the Pacific Northwest and joined the practice of his father, Dr. Jerome Baruffi. Dr. Austin Baruffi just completed a one year term as Secretary for the Dental Society and attended the WSDA House of Delegates in 2016. Close to his family, he enjoys traveling, scuba diving and skiing in his spare time. Dr. Noah Letwin has been elected to a second, three year term. Dr. Letwin got his dental degree from the University of Maryland and a certificate from Swedish Medical Center General Practice Residency. He also holds a PhD in Pharmacology and a MS in Biochemistry, all from The George Washington University. He is currently the dental director of the Swedish Community Specialty Clinic and in private practice in Seattle. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and his two daughters, Samantha and Henrietta. Together, they enjoy biking, camping, Nordic skiing and SCUBA diving as a family. Dr. Imahn Moin is a general dentist practicing in Seattle. As the son of a New Hampshire orthodontist, Dr. Moin knew very early on that dentistry was for him. After graduating from Tufts University, Dr. Moin moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington’s School of Dentistry. There, he was awarded the student achievement award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He was also active in the Husky Smiles program and was President of the UW Chapter of the National Student Research Group. After graduation and entering private practice, Dr. Moin went through the WSDA Leadership Institute. In his free time, Dr. Imahn enjoys sailing, rowing, fly-fishing and woodworking. Several Seattle-King County Dental Society members were elected to serve as delegates to the Washington State Dental Association’s governing body, the House of Delegates. Each member will serve a three year term. The Class of 2019 includes Dr. Kirk E. King, president-elect, and Dr. Austin Baruffi, Christine Kirchner, Dr. Gregory Ogata, Dr. Jeffrey Schur, Dr. Christine Shigaki and Dr. Judson Werner. Dr. Karim Alibhai will join the Class of 2019 and serve a two year term. Last but not least, the Society thanks our outgoing Executive Council members and delegates for their dedication over the years. Please join us in thanking Dr. Judson Werner, past president, Dr. Austin Baruffi, our secretary and Drs. Amy Cook and Megan Mulligan of the Executive Council. We also wish to recognize all of our ‘Class of 2016’ SKCDS delegates to the WSDA House: Drs. Karim Z. Alibhai, William E. Hooe, Noah E. Letwin, Jeffrey A. Schur, Christine K. Shigaki, Thomas P. SKCDS Billboard campaign Launched in April! SKCDS members have struggled with the frustrations of a near-constant barrage of advertising by Delta Dental in the greater Seattle area. Members want to boldly share the message that dentists involved in organized dentistry are a “cut above” and offer more to the patient. Other states have struggled with the same concerns. With the help of the ADA, Societies in Pennsylvania and Tennessee have launched campaigns to educate the public through billboard messaging. The Seattle campaign is based on the successful one executed by the Valley Forge Dental Society (VFDS) in Pennsylvania. Led by Dr. Jay Freedman, the campaign was a huge success, as measured by the metrics they used. They relied primarily on the number of hits they received on their MouthHealthy page as an indicator of consumer response. Their goal was to make consumers aware of the benefit of choosing an ADA dentist. They achieved this objective by purchasing advertising on two electronic billboards on primary roadways in suburban Pennsylvania. The Valley Forge Dental Society saw their MouthHealthy page view increase 76% compared to the prior four weeks. Page views increased 52% over the same time the prior year. Additionally, the ADA did some market research comparing the two ads used by the VFDS. The ADA determined that the simple message of “Is Your Dentist Special?” resonated very strongly with audiences. SKCDS members would like to proudly declare the value of organized dentistry and the caliber of the dentists involved. This message can be delivered effectively through billboards, just as our colleagues in Pennsylvania discovered. SKCDS will be working with Lamar, a national Out-of-Home media (OOH) firm and the leader in outdoor marketing. Our audience is primarily the general public. Our goal is to direct the public to: 1) consider if their dentist is a member; and 2) direct them to find a tripartite member for a dentist. Our primary objective is consumer education and our secondary objective is membership retention. The Membership Committee, under the leadership of Dr. Ohie Charoenkul, has been moving this project forward. We will be using art very similar to that which was used in Pennsylvania. The billboards will be located in five areas around the greater Seattle region. In addition, we sent a postcard, with similar art, to all non-members informing them about the campaign and encouraging them to join the tripartite. Another focus of the campaign is encouraging current members to update their information on the ADA’s MouthHealthy website. At the conclusion of the 8-week campaign, the ADA will help us by analyzing data and giving us feedback on how the billboards were received by the public. Based on this feedback we will consider taking the campaign out to the rural areas of King County as well as the eastside. We anticipate a good response and the beginning of something very positive for our members.

DENTAL ASSISTANT By Al Munk DDS All of us have worked with dental assistants during our careers. If we were lucky enough to have one while in dental school, we were in awe of their talents as their knowledge of techniques and materials far exceeded our own. Since it was still an all-male bastion during my tenure of dental education, I was also in awe of their beauty and dated a few of them when I had the chance. During a public health internship, I worked in a federal prison as a dentist and had male inmates for dental assistants. These were generally large men with scars on their faces, guilty of armed robbery and murder. It was best not to get angry with these assistants unless you wanted a cleoid through your jugular. I felt no urge to date them. In the forty-one years since graduation, I have experience a serial monogamy of assistants whose talents have left me laughing, crying but never bored.

EXPOSURES

My first assistant was one of my best. She had never assisted before and since I had seldom worked with one, her abilities perfectly matched my expectations. She came with me on my year-long sojourn to British Columbia as a traveling dentist about which I have previously written. She learned the procedures easily, was quick to laugh at my jokes and always came to work since there was nowhere else to go. An assistant who does not perceive you to be the second coming of Jack Benny is one to consider for early termination.

kind of fun but I have to be careful not to watch her while she is mixing the cement. She hates when I watch her and will kick me under the chair if I do so. She is the only one I will go into the darkroom with. If another dentist or lab sends me flowers because I did them a favor, I always bring them home to her like it was a special purchase just for her. My assistants have always felt this is the tackiest thing in the world and constantly chide me for it. I, on the other hand, being a man, see the practical side of floral recycling. I always have wondered how much the patients are aware of the clandestine events of the dental office.

My current assistant, Amy, is one of the more interesting staff members I have had. She is twenty-three years old. The first shock was that I was two years older than her father. I have always considered my assistants to be my peers, not my children. Amy is very sweet and gentle and gets along with other staff and patients. However, early on I discovered she was afraid of the sight of blood. This is not the best phobia to have as a medical After returning to Seattle and private practice, I found that I had to hire my professional. When I am doing surgery, sometimes the vacuum is sucking up own assistants and embarked on that learning experience. I placed an ad in the the patient’s ear wax as Amy has turned her head toward magnetic North. newspaper, got many calls and began the interview process, which of course I knew nothing about. Once, after talking to about a dozen people, I called the Another little problem she has is she is always sleepy. She will occasionally one who seemed to be the best all-around applicant.
