Video Sale INFORMATION
Video sales are a marketing mechanism that have grown in popularity due to the opportunities they present to producers who deal in large numbers of stocker and feeder cattle. Cattle are generally marketed in trailer-load lots weighing approximately 48,500 pounds; however, we can also sell “partial loads” if there are not enough cattle to make a full trailer-load. Before the sale, a representative from MACS goes to the farm to record video of the cattle while also documenting important information about the cattle including breed, frame, muscling, and fleshing as well as health and nutrition programs. The following catalog provides this information from our consignors and contractors to assist with marketing the consigned cattle. If you have any questions regarding the stated information, please contact a MACS representative listed throughout this catalog.

2020 SEPTEMBER SELECT SALE Bred Heifers • Bred Cows • Cow/Calf Pairs
We will be selling over 190 head of breeding females. This will include 110+ bred heifers, 55+ bred cows, and 25 cow/calf pairs. Most cows are all Angus-based with a few Charolais-X or Continental-X cows. All cattle will be on an updated vaccination and parasite control program, including having a dewormer put on them the day before the sale.
All females will be checked for reproductive soundness and estimated calving date by a licensed vet from Rocky Creek Vet Services. Updated information will be available online the night before the sale. Cattle are available to view Friday evening or Saturday morning prior to the sale. We would like to load out cattle the same day of the sale if possible. Trucking is available. Light refreshments will be available but lunch will not be served due to COVID guidelines. Please bring your agricultural sales tax ID exemption number with you to the sale.
