Formed in 1991, Lichten Architects is an award-winning architecture firm based in New York with a portfolio comprised of private club, high-end residential, and institutional projects . Our work has been featured in the New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, Traditional Home, BoardRoom, and numerous books and blogs .

The success of Lichten Architects’ projects is best attributed to the strength of the firm’s design vision, a collaborative approach, and responsiveness to both client and place . We are to our projects . We understand that no two projects are alike in their requirements and execution .

We are accustomed to complex programming and client priorities. Beyond design, we manage the multifaceted process of building a project: from analyzing codes to navigating member committees and public agencies, from coordinating known for an integrated, seamless, and coordinated approach

with capital campaign committees to delivering welldocumented plans and on to construction administration — a continuum from the first conversation to move-in day.

Founded in 1983, McMahon Group is a full-service, private club consulting firm dedicated to serving clubs in all aspects of their planning, clubhouse, golf, and membership needs . Our extensive and diverse experience includes service to country, golf, city, dining, athletic, yacht, university, and military clubs . To date, McMahon Group has assisted more than 2,000 clubs throughout the world and assisted in developing over 1,200 private club improvement projects . McMahon’s approach to creating successful facility improvement projects is unique by developing initial feasibility and membership approval before trying to select final designers and contractors for an unknown project scope. McMahon’s principals have served their own clubs as board members, presidents, and consultants . MCMAHON’S FIRST IMPRESSION VISIT McMahon Group offers your club our “First Impressions Visit” or our “Virtual First Impressions Visit” to learn, first-hand, about the issues facing your club and to meet you and your club’s leadership . Our club specialist listens, tours facilities (if an in-person First Impressions visit is done), and collects information on all club aspects . He/she meets with your club’s leadership to explain the current trends in the club industry, to provide an objective analysis of your club, and to recommend solutions on important issues . Whether your club needs a survey, strategic plan, facility improvements, or just some common sense advice on a particular situation, our First Impressions Visit puts our club specialist at your service . With over 30 years of experience, there is nothing McMahon Group has not faced when it comes to private clubs . McMahon Group does not charge a fee for this initial visit or the follow-up report . We only ask to be reimbursed for our travel expenses . There are no travel costs if a Virtual First impression is done .
