Welcome to Spider Hill! Halloween is almost here and the witches, ghosts, ghouls, and goblins have been lurking around Three Sisters Park! Since 1999, Halloween has become a month-long extravaganza for Spider Hill. All proceeds from the event help build educational facilities at Three Sisters Park and fund local not-for-profit organizations. The success of the event is due to the dedicated volunteers who help with designing and building the attractions, recruiting and organizing actors, ticket sales, concessions, and more. Spider Hill began with the Massacre Mansion. However, it was not the same mansion enjoyed today! It was operated inside two donated trailer homes. Spider Hill continues to grow every year and, in 2001, a building was constructed on the grounds at Three Sisters Park that would accommodate all who wanted to attend! In its ten years of operation, Spider Hill has entertained over 168,000 visitors and enjoys the status of being Central Illinois’ largest haunted attraction. Spider Hill has been awarded the distinction as the best Halloween attraction in Illinois by hauntedillinois.com. Furthermore, Spider Hill has grown to become the most well-known and well-respected haunted attractions in Illinois. In 2013, Spider Hill continued the tradition of expansion with the addition of Zombie Invasion Paintball. Guests can now defeat the walking dead with glow in the dark paintballs! In its sixteen years of operation, Spider Hill has entertained over 168,000 visitors and enjoys the status of being Central Illinois’ largest haunted attraction. Spider Hill has been awarded the distinction as the best Halloween attraction in Illinois by hauntedillinois.com. Ghosts, ghouls, and chainsaw wielding fools line the serpentine path through the haunted forest at Three Sisters Park. The guide ropes keep you on the trail, but show the monsters where to find you. Those brave enough to enter will face abandoned shacks, graveyards, and a circus, among other ghastly scenes. Enter if you dare!
