Notes I think the sound from this interview was really good. We think didn’t really experience any sound interference as we were in the broadcast studio. The interviewee was speaking very quietly so we may need to boost the sound levels for this interview. I think the sound was still really good. The interview answers are better towards the end of the interview.

I think the sound was of good quality as there was still no sound interferences however the soundman was complaining he couldn’t hear the audio so I’m not sure if the levels are adjusted for the right sound. There appeared to be a slight echo but only slight. Maybe need to lower levels to make the echo less noticeable. There was still a slight echo but I don’t think it will be noticeable. The soundman could hear this time throughout the recording for this take.

I think the sound was good. We were shooting on location however we didn’t really encounter any sound interference. Some answers were briefer than I would have liked. Probably just use this interview for sound bites. This interview was also on location but we didn’t encounter any sound interference. We got a really good sound bit at the begining on the interview.

This interview was very brief and we didn’t really get great answers. There was some noise from outside the classroom but I don’t think it detected by the directional mic. The pips to indicate next lesson went off mid interview so we probably can’t use that interview response. I think the interviewee gave a really good response however the sound of the ruffling papers might have be noticeable during the last question so probably go with the response to that question from the second take. I think the interviewee still gave really good responses. I think the mic wasn’t too close to the interviewee or too far away.

I think we got really good interview responses however they were very long answers so we may need to cut them up. The interviewee was speaking quietly so we may need to boost the sound levels for this interview in postproduction. I think we got a good interview with good sound. I’m not sure if the other person in the class created any sound interference, I doubt it. In retrospect I think the mic might have been placed a bit too close to the interview so we may have to however the levels of interviewee’s responses so the sound from this interview doesn’t stand out from the rest of the sound in out documentary for being too loud. I also talked during her point on things be reported differently in different countries. It was a really good answer so I don’t want to cut down but we might have too. I don’t think we had any sound interference however I did notice that the volume of interviewee’s voice varied throughout the interview which may cause problems when trying to make the sound throughout the documentary as a whole consistent. I think we encountered a lot of sound interference because we were in a train station. We faced sound problems from things such as the escalators and the machines the cleaners were using. However this actuality footage that we will probably play a voice over onto off. So this sound will only be played quietly under the voice over. I think we may need to use a wild track off a train station to create the mood. Same sound problems. I think we may make this should part of the intro and therefore not even need to use the sound from this shot.

I think this interview maybe unusable as all the sound from the exhibition must act as sound interference that makes the interviewee nearly if not impossible to hear. We also suffered from not bringing a microphone as we didn’t think we were going to record sound today. We just realized after the interview finished that the mic wasn’t plugged in so we may have to re film the interview.

On board mic

We didn’t plug in the mic this time as I think the sound is better on the onboard mic than with the directional mic after conducting a little test yesterday.

I think the answers weren’t as good as yesterdays interview but we still got detailed and informative answers. Some responses were even the same as yesterdays. I think the sound recorded well, I don’t think we had many problems with sound.

On board mic

I think we got good sound. There was no real sound interference.

Directi onal mic

I think the sound was really good and there was no echo. The answers were very detailed but very long so we’re goanna need to cut them down significantly.
