The coast of this awesome country was seemingly designed with bodyboarding in mind. Portugal has such a variety of bodyboarding spots it’s ridiculous. It’s no coincidence that Pierre Louis Costes, 2xAPB World champion chose to move here in 2010. What makes the Sintra/Lisbon area so unique is that it receives an abundance of swell and is blessed with two coasts; a West and a South coast. This not only means that there is almost always an offshore and rideable wave, but when it is too big on the West facing beaches, shelter can be found on the adjacent South coast. So whatever your experience or wave taste Matt will find the perfect conditions to suit.
