The Boeing 307 Stratoliner is the first airplane to have a pressurized cabin. The pressurized cabin allowed it to fly at a higher altitude of 20,000 ft. This enabled it to fly above weather disturbances. It had a seating capacity of five crew members and 33 passengers.
