Here we are already at our 14th sale! We are excited to again bring you a strong set of bulls, with new genetics in their pedigrees. Last fall brought the best prices that cattlemen have never seen and it looks like the trend will continue. It’s nice to see everyone positive in the cattle industry. New this year is our open house on March 15, the day prior to sale. Please feel free to come and take your time looking at the bulls on offer. We hope this allows you to have an unhurried look at the bulls and us more time to help you find the best bull for your program. You are always welcome to come by prior to the sale to view the bulls on offer at any time; in fact, we encourage that. Oh ya, maybe we can entice you over with a piece of Grandma Olga’s apple pie and a good cup of coffee. Again, we will be having a video sale. All bulls will be displayed right beside the sale barn and then on-screen for the sale. This allows you a much better view of how the bulls freely move and stride out as opposed to trying to analyze them in a tight sales ring. The Limousin breed has changed immensely. If you tried a Limousin bull 20 years ago, they are not the same breed and I encourage you to see what this breed can do for you. Packing plants want more muscle in their carcasses; Limousin and Limousin influenced sires are the fastest way to increase muscle and yield. TERMS Diamond C Ranch is offering a total of 20 straws of semen on the one of the most prolific bulls ever raised in the Wulfs program. Semen will be auctioned off to the highest bidder, who then has the right to take all 20 straws or a minimum of 10. Each subsequent buyer will be required to take a minimum of ten straws of semen. There is no reservation regarding partnering on packages.

He is a proven heifer bull and we liked the opportunity that it presented to offer some halfblood bulls to our customers. This cross is one of the best in the cattle industry today. The Limousin brings that high yield and cutability while the Angus offers us on average a higher marbling percentage. Also to boast that they make some of the best females in the cattle industry and this cross still leaves you with calving ease and that new born vigor that is so important. I have worked with Diamond C Ranches for the last several years as their herd veterinarian. They maintain a consistent, comprehensive vaccination and herd health program which helps to produce high caliber, disease-free animals. Neil is an excellent herdsman who is truly concerned about the health and quality of both his herd animals and the animals that he sells. I have always been impressed by the quiet temperament and good conformation exhibited by their bulls. I think that a Diamond C bull would bring good, profitable genetics into any herd.

TERMS: The terms of this sale are cash or cheque in Canadian Funds at par immediately following the sale. The right of ownership shall not pass until after settlement is made. All Settlements must be made before any livestock will be released. ABSENTEE BIDS: Mailed or telephone bids shall be handled in the most confi dential manner, if you are unable to attend the sale in person. INSURA NC E: Ownership risk to purchaser commences when the auctioneer’s hammer falls. Insurance is available at the sale. ANNOU NCEMENTS: Any announcement made from the auction block take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. CERTIFICATES: Certificates of registry and transfer on each bull shall be provided by the seller to the buyer without charge after settlement as been made. Please leave transfer instructions at the clerk’s desk. BREEDER’S G UARANTEE: The seller warrants clear title to and the right to sell each bull off ered for sale. All bulls off ered for sale are warranted to be sound, however; the seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign objects after the bull has been sold nor sickness that was not apparent at the time of sale. BR E E DING GUA RA NTEE: We, the sellers, have done everything possible to assure you, the buyer, that every bull in this sale will be a breeder. However, should a problem arise, please inform the seller so the problem can be resolved. The purchaser shall have six months from the date the bull reaches fourteen months of age to report in writing to the seller that the buII is a non-breeder, providing of course, that the bull has been maintained in satisfactory breeding condition. Each consignor will have six months to prove the buII a breeder after the time of report. In the event a bull is a non breeder the situation will be handled by either a replacement, creditor money back. In no case will an adjustment be made for more than the purchase price of that particular bull. No guarantee is given that semen collected from any bull in this sale wiII freeze or be suitable for artificial insemination. ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither sales management, auctioneer, nor consignors assume any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability, legal, or otherwise, in the event or loss of property. DELIVERY O PTIO NS: Option A: Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale, but no risk is assumed by the seller. Purchasers are requested to furrnish shipping instructions when making settlements. Option B: Bulls will be kept at the seller’s farm at the purchaser’s risk and we strongly recommend that the bull be insured. Individual arrangements for delivery and feeding can be made by talking to Neil prior to or on sale day. RIG HTS AND OBLIG ATIONS: The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of livestock following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected there to are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.
