Blackbird 50G stems from a solid pedigree top and bottom, which has truly survived the tests that the industry can throw at you. On the bottom of the pedigree is Tiger 5T with over 1700 progeny recorded, an Elite Sire in the Canadian Angus Association, as well as a Pathfinder Sire in the USA. Blackbird 50G is built from a solid base. The Big Sky females in our herd show that maternal greatness, as does Big Sky’s dam. This female has performance, natural muscle, volume, easy fleshing ability and an impeccable udder in the making, as you would expect with Tiger in the pedigree. Big Sky has produced many high sellers in our herd, including the $35,000.00 Storm Center 26D, which we have recently purchased back part of him to use in our herd. Remember beautiful and exciting females become great foundation cows. Blackbird 50G is mated early to our extremely inspiring new herdsire, Schiefelbein Showman 338. What a great combination!

Hamilton Farms XXX

For those of you that have toured Hamilton Farms in the summer months, you will see why we say we take pride in our cow herd! The maternal power is where it all begins. The dam of Tibbie 86G as well as a maternal sister are designated as donor cows, with four other sisters retained in the herd. This powerful female brings it all to the table, and the probability of her being a future donor is very high. Tibbie 86G has a lot of natural shape and stoutness, balance and presence, topped off with impeccable feet, and has early development of an ideal udder. As exciting as Tibbie 86G is, her service sire totally completes this offering. Schiefelbein Showman 338 has created quite a buzz at Hamilton Farms with large numbers of progeny designated to the “A” team in his inaugural year of breeding. Feel confident that this female mated to Showman could certainly take you to the next level, whether it be an elite herdsire prospect or a foundation female to build from.

Belvin Georgina 16’19 is a powerfully made female, on paper and in the flesh. Her sire, Montana Octane 6121, produces high performance cattle, with growth numbers that are at the top of the Angus breed. KCH Beauty 912G was destined to be our future donor female but after the Bohrson crew came out and persuaded us to sell her, we ultimately decided we had to sell our very best. 912G was acquired as an embryo from the great Brooking program and a standout since birth and hasn’t looked back. Her dam is the great 6R who is Brooking’s #1 income generating donor and one of the most prolific donors in the entire breed. Her sire, Bank Note is the $125,000 phenom that is making a positive stamp in the breed siring sons that the industry demands and daughters like this that are designed for production. Strong feet, nice udder, powerfully made with extra rib dimension and a month, beautiful front end and head on her. It pains us to sell this one but we would like to retain a future flush to keep her genetics advancing our program and that has allowed us to offer her to the industry. We absolutely love 912G and we are excited to showcase a female of this quality in the great Collection Sale. The Dam is a Maternal sister to our heifer calf consignment to last year’s Collection Sale selling to MWC Investments Inc. Her massive rib shape and deep chest floor will make her an easy fleshing front pasture kind of cow. The teat placement on this heifer looks amazing. Tibbie 905G EPD’s rank in the top 8% for both WW and YW. Tibbie 905G sells carrying the exciting service to Conley South Point. When I first saw South Point at 2019 CWA I instantly purchased a semen package. I felt he was the best calving ease sire that I had seen in a very long time. Peak Dot Queen 15G was selected as the pick of our 2019 heifer calf crop from the Bohrson crew as she is one that we are proud to offer the industry. We originally had an opportunity to consign to the Rose Bowl this summer and they had pick of the pen but when plans changed, we excitedly transitioned these two females to be showcased at the highly respected Angus Collection Event. 15G is phenomenal in her design and a female that you can admire from every angle as she is attractive headed, erect fronted, huge ribbed, big hipped and has ample muscle and bone yet is very feminine in her design. The Roughrider sire group is one of the very best that we have had around the ranch and when you combine that with the strength of a Unanimous/Power-Up/Saugahatchee dam, you can invest in confidence as she is bred for royalty. Her service to a full brother to Brooking Firebrand 6068 will ensure profitability and a strong ROI as this female wraps all the goods together and one we fully stand behind as she is special in her kind.

A grand opportunity to access a daughter from one of the largest and most influential cow families at Peak Dot. Peak Dot Lady 270G blends powerful phenotype and pedigree power beyond compare. Her massive deep bodied, easy fleshing dam, Lady of Peak Dot 1189A is a current Peak Dot embryo donor along with her dam Lady of Peak Dot 402U and sister Lady of Peak Dot 9Y. A highly admired maternal brother, Peak Dot No Doubt 44H is on a path to definite stardom and will be a lead off feature of the No Doubt sire group in the Peak Dot Ranch 2021 Spring Bull Sale. 270G is a bull maker extraordinaire in the making and has all the tools to be a highly influential female to provide awesome ROI as there is true power in her blood. We have stacked as many influential donors on top of each other here and we feel that shear power that this brood heifer possesses will pay dividends to the successful buyer. Mated to start her production records with a bull calf inside and is bred to the calving ease leader, Real Estate who carries the Bank Note x Rose cow families.

We knew we have to sell our very best to participate is a sale with so many leading breeders and 9190 and 9234 exemplify exactly that. From the top of our ET pen, these 2 beautiful Firebrand x 0065 daughters wrap it all together with ideal phenotypes and awesome pedigrees backing them. 0065 is a proven donor that doesn’t miss and Firebrand is considered one of the great breeding bulls in the industry today. We feel that 9190 is special; a standout in the calf crop from day 1 that lead her to be Thomas’ summer show heifer and unfortunately wasn’t able to campaign her as she is impressive in her design and has future donor female written all over her. 9234 is a stout, well muscled full sister that is admired for her natural shape and dimension. Foot quality, udder strength and overall attractiveness are bred into these 2 beauties and the mating to the calving ease sensation, Final Answer will create strong ROI for the successful buyer. Only the best are being brought forward and these late April born females stand in with the older females and have a big time future ahead of them.

Anchorage Blackbird 9021 is an impressive bred heifer and one that we feel has the makings to transform into a future donor female. This has been Riley’s pick of the Angus all along and rightfully so as this ET female is royally bred and has the phenotype to go along to be a true breeding piece. Her dam, 0698 is a great breeding piece who has left impressive progeny north and south of the border. 9021 resembles her dam as they are both huge ribbed, easy keeping, hairy, ideal udder structure, moderate framed and highly powerful. Her dam, Sudden Look continues to be one of the most exciting sires in the industry with limited semen available and when it does sell, often commands the $300+ range. We have committed to selling the best and here is one that we have the utmost amount of confidence in and she is mated for profitability. It is difficult selling your ET cattle as we really want to build around this cow family and a female of her quality but we are brining the elite to town to showcase our new program.

Maybe it was beginners luck but we were pumped when we sold a maternal brother to the highly respected Six Mile Ranch two springs ago. 4023 ranks up as one of the very best cows we own and after producing the $12,000 Trendseeker to 6M, she produced this standout female and has landed one of the best bulls in out pen for our 2021 bull sale. The never miss cows are worth investing in and she doesn’t only bring a good one in, she truly brings in the very best at the top of every calf crop. 9083 herself is Martin’s pick of the 2019 Angus born heifers and she is powerful in her design with a broad top, big hip, huge rib, ideal teat placement and attractive design while still being extremely powerful made. Check out her impressive EPD’s and she is just a March born yearling heifer and one that we think will be an awesome production female. Her first calf by our new Peak Dot Ozark bull will surely impress as he will be an important part of out program moving forward.

The Firebrand x Unanimous mating hit a hime run here and we know the power in those two sires and ability to increase quality in cattle they are mated with. Firebrand is gaining steam as every calf that hits the ground has elevated his popularity north and south of the border. We acquired this beautiful Unanimous dam from Brian McCarthy who is a highly respected cattleman and has an impressive Angus herd that is bred for power and profitability. 9037 is one that does no wrong and her early service will enhance her ROI as it is sure to be a ripper of a highly marketable calf.

This one is going to be hard to part with! When Scott was out last year this individual was one he wanted as a heifer calf for last years Angus Collection. We were really wanting to keep her but he talked us into it this year. This moderate bred heifer has always been a favorite around here. Ever since she was young she was often the “poster child” in our facebook posts and website. Her neck extends beautifully out the top of her shoulder and always has that “look at me” profile. She is a fancy, extremely smooth female that is packed in a moderate and stout package. Her sire, Musgrave Stunner, is a bull that is know for calving ease, growth, production traits and is in the top 10% of the Angus breed. 77G was AI’d on April 14 to the famous SAV President who was the world record and top-selling bull of the 2017 SAV sale at $750,000 with a total valuation of $938,500. He is impressive in his structure and powerful in his design. This is going to be a great combination!

We are pleased to consign to the collection sale this year. I think we can all agree that nobody just needs a heifer. With that thought in mind we dug deep into our replacement pen and selected a heifer off the top. Pearl is out of a very productive young Aviator daughter who’s dam is a top Crowfoot cow that we have successfully flushed. She is sired by the ever increasing in popularity sire Coleman Bravo. Pearl is moderate, stout, quiet and structurally correct. A very exciting mating to the Agribition and Denver champion Conley South Point. After calving out my first calf crop of South Points I think this is the perfect match for this heifer.

In 2012 my family began a quest to start putting together my future in Angus. I brought 87G to you today as my very first female to sell. It is only right that I offer you the same qualitites I look for. Smooth, powerful, sound, eye appealing are all aspects of Rosebud 87G and she’s an easy keeper. Rosebud has not been fed up, in fact mom and dad made me kick her back out after her debut piccture in October. There is no doubt that the Rosebud cow family has proven it’s consistancy time and time again, her dam HF Rosebud 192D has done just that for me. With top notch, proven genetics all over this pedigree, Rosebud 87G won’t disappoint. Thanks to Tanya Belsham, of Popular Meadows, Rosebud was AI’d to Conley Southpoint 8362.

Her dam 22C, was our pick of the Hamilton Farms heifer calves in 2015 and has produced multiple high sellers for us with 85H being her best calf to date no questions asked. We decided without Agribition this year we would bring the calves that would have sold at CWA to the Collection. The Angus Collection is quickly becoming one of the most exciting and prestigious events in industry. This Breeding piece is proof of that. 28H has the pedigree twist and numbers to breed a lot of different ways. She is extremely fresh in her makeup, thin necked and sound. We think she could make a pretty fun show heifer as she’s very docile and easy going. She was the Reserve Sr. Heifer calf champion of Lloydminster Stockade Roundup. The best part about 28H is her incredible dam that will become the centre of our donor program. If you like moderate, stout made, attractive cattle this one is your kind. 79H was champion intermediate heifer calf at Lloydminster Stockade Roundup. Her dam 21C has been a fertile cow with a great production record and sweet udder. A maternal Sister sold in the Motive Event for $16,000 and a full brother was a feature in our bull sale for $11,750. The Sudden look cattle are developing into productive cows with awesome udders. Sudden Look semen is limited and still commanding up to $300/ dose at auction. Very few sudden look daughters have been sold, so here’s a unique opportunity.

If you want a show heifer with style, hair and bone you should love this one. Her dam 424B has taken the title of our top producing cow with 26 registered progeny and an average of over $11,000 on progeny sold. This firebrand flush was very successful with another heifer calf as lot 7 in the 2020 Brooking sale and 3 full brothers in the pen for our bull sale. The 424B daughters have awesome udders and have been producing high quality calves. This is a cow family we will build around for years to come and one we’d want to be a part of if we weren’t already.

We are excited to consign our first female to this prestigious sale, and have put our favourite calf forward. If you are looking for a fancy show heifer, with loads of hair and bone this one is pretty neat. She comes out of her shoulder high headed and long necked. Her dam was our selection from the 2018 Angus Collection; she went on to be the 2019 Gmack progress show champion and we like this first calf of hers even better. We expect 1H to make a great show prospect and an even better cow crossed with Stunner.

We are definitely excited to be a part of the Angus Collection female sale. Scott was out this summer and selected two females that we are having a very hard time parting with. This female is co-owned and raised by Compass Ranch and Golden Oak Livestock. We both feel she is the epitome of an exceptional Angus female in every way, shape and form. 2H catches your eye with her overall balance that is enhanced by her complete structure and overall mass of body. She is destined to win banners and become an elite Angus producer. Her dam was purchased as the lead off heifer in Hamilton Farms 2019 bull sale for $25,000. Her sire SAV Rainfall sold for $460,000 was our pick of the landmark flush brothers at SAV to breed her to. This heifer is royally bred and in our minds will soon herself become royalty. We started our Angus herd with the purchase of some females from Peak Dot Ranch, including Duchess 756T who has evolved into the cornerstone of our entire program. Kirstin calls her The Queen and for good reason, as she is the most prolific female on the ranch, still looks impressive coming into her 14th birthday, and has the royal disposition of a former show heifer. We are continuing to build around her, her daughters, and granddaughters - nearly 1/3 of our 2021 calf crop will be descendent from the Duchess maternal influence. The Duchess cattle are sound, productive, and attractive with strong udders and exceptional feet and attitudes. We had success mating 756T to Bank Note and knew that Firebrand could match up well with his strong physical traits and to stack the influence of both the Rose and Annie K cow families. Duchess 034 has always been the standout flushmate and our most promising Angus female of 2020 with her balanced looks, bold rib, extra hair, and loose structure. She has all the qualities we look for in a future donor, most importantly on top of her physical traits is the generations of proven donor females. We offer Duchess 034 with excitement and great faith in her future production abilities.

A very feminine heifer out of a hard working three year old. 9H exemplifies that most desirable traits, deep, exceptional length of spine, nice udder structure, with a beautiful clean front end with lots of extension. A heifer that would have been in our CWA show string this year.

This year’s consignment, RLF Bea 3H, is out of Boss Lake Bonafide 722E, a bull who campaigned very successfully as a bull calf, and was then sold in the Power and Perfection sale, purchased by Miller Wilson Angus and Lewis Farms. I have had the chance to see many of Boss Lake Bonafide’s 722E’s calves produced at their current owners, Miller Wilson Angus and Lewis Farms, and Boss Lake Genetics which none disappointed. These calves all come extremely sound, and possess an excellent foot. The dam of RLF Bea 3H is a cow that was bought from Arda Farms back in 2013, at the 2nd Annual Angus Collection Sale. She has an excellent udder and a great look as a 7 year old cow. This cow definitely put that look into her calf, that contains a shot of muscle and comes in an extremely sound package, and has one of the best temperaments I have worked with. Scarlet is a next level kind of female, the type of female you build a program around. Scarlet hales from one of our superior cow families. Scarlet is a very powerful, structurally sound, exceptional footed female. Excellent udder, and foot quality is consistent in the females throughout her lineage on both sides of her pedigree. Her disposition has been second to none from day one. If you toured our cow herd this past winter, she was that curious little heifer calf that followed you looking for attention. Your thinking is also correct, she is sired by the well known $47, 000 U2 Temptation bull, and yes, his dam is U2 Erelite 109Z the record selling $140,000 cow in the U2 Dispersal Sale last year. In our mind Scarlet is a masterpiece resulting from years of meticulous breeding. Temptation sons proved to be dominant last year in every regard. Two Temptation sons were part of the champion pen of 3 Angus bulls at CWA 2019. They also both made the final drive, and one of them the final 3 at the Saskatchewan Angus Sweepstakes. Temptation sons topped our bull sale last year not only as high sellers, they averaged nearly $10,000 as a sire group. Her Granddam GLK 5Y has been a true breeding piece in our program raising ZGO 52F a female that bannered at several shows as a calf, and as a bred heifer for my nephew Dylan. In fact, this is the first daughter out of this cow family that we have parted with, since purchasing 5Y from Gerald Kary of Kary Family Farms. Here is an opportunity that does not come along often.
