Welcome to the 22nd Annual Bull Sale
What a great time to be involved in the beef business. I am sure you will read this in every bull sale welcome this year and I hope you will read some form of that same line for a few years to come. It is time.
As you look through the catalog this year, you will once again see quality selections in both red and black by multiple sire groups, seven of which are new for the 2025 offering, ensuring that there is something for all your bull buying needs. Whether you are looking for performance or high end calving ease, you will find multiple options in this year’s offering. We appreciate any and all interest in our program and take your business seriously. Anyone who has dealt with us in the past knows that we have always had a rock solid approach to customer satisfaction on their bull purchases, simply put “if you are not happy, we are not happy either”. We will fix any problems that may arise - a very simple approach to customer service.
A big thank you to all who help out through the year, from our dedicated farm crew, to extra help for sale prep including clipping, picturing and videoing. Thanks again to Kyle and Kelsey for designing and building the catalog and all ads pertaining to the sale throughout the year. It takes everyone’s involvement to put it all together and get it done.
We always look forward to farm visits from our customers to show them first hand our program and tour the cow herd. We rely heavily on our cow herd to be consistent in producing top quality bulls for our customers and are believers that the difference between a good bull and an exceptional bull is in the bottom side of the pedigree. We are always happy to show you the mothers of the bull offering at any time.
We look forward to your inquiries and talking to you about the offering. No one knows our cattle better than we do. Give us a call with any questions you have. As always our qualified sale’s staff will have been through the bulls so feel free to reach out to them for their assistance at any time. All of this would not be possible without the continued support of our customers, many who have purchased bulls for nearly all of the 21 sales we have had. We are all in this business together but it is your continued support that enables us to continue. Thank you March 3rd is coming FAST and will be here before we know it. Hope you to see you then, or sooner.
Kelly

Last winter Lexi and her family came down and selected a heifer out of the replacements to become her show heifer for the year. We were very happy to follow along with Lexi as she and ‘‘Lainey’’ travelled from show to show throughout the spring and summer. Lexi and Lainey had many strong showings along with a Reserve Champion heifer at the Kennedy Jackpot show, Champion heifer and Reserve Champion female at her local achievement day as well as Reserve Champion heifer at her Regional Show. We wish Lexi the best with Lainey as she is nearing calving and hope to see her shown as a pair this coming show season.
Customer Success
The Levai Family
We have had a wonderful experience working with the Levai famly (Riley, Jenna, Dyson, Nixon and Jax) over the last few years. The Levai family has had tremendous success utilizing our bulls, specifically bulls that have sold later in the sale. All three boys have been showing home raised steers off these bulls and doing very well.
Last summer, Dyson won reserve champion steer as well as the award for average daily gain with his steer who weighed in at an impressive 1715lbs. All three boys steers were also selected to represent their club in the best pen of 5 show at their regional 4H show. Congrats to all three of the boys and great work as all three have shown much enthusiasm for the cattle industry.

Ashworth Farm and Ranch Ltd., along with sale management have the right to refuse bids from anyone who has a previous record of default in payment and/or who has not made prior credit arrangements prior to the sale with the owners and/or sale management.
BID - Every animal consigned to the sale must be sold by auction. No by-bidding will be permitted. Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder.
DISPUTES - In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters will be final.
PURCHASER’S RISK - Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.
ANNOUNCEMENTS from the auction block will take precedence over printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY - The proper Registration of Recordation paper, as the case may be, will be duly transferred and furnished to the buyer for each animal after settlement has been made.
SHIPPING - Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale, but sale management or seller assumes no risk. Expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to determine delivery arrangements when making settlement.
GUARANTEE - All animals will carry standard breeding guarantee as specified by the Canadian Simmental Association. At no time shall the seller’s liability exceed the purchased price of the animal.
EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE - In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void. In the cases of bulls, they are guaranteed to breed naturally according to Canadian Simmental Association guarantee.
HEALTH - It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Sale management assumes no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale.
ACCIDENTS - Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Ashworth Farm & Ranch Ltd, sale management, auctioneer, or CSA assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS - The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and the terms and conditions of this sale do not cover obligations of the two parties connected thereto.
SALE MANAGEMENT ARE AGENTS ONLY - It is clearly understood that sale management acts only as agent between buyer and seller and is not in any way responsible for any failure by either party to live up to his or her obligations. Sale management does not assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of monies by either parties, and in exceptional case, any legal action will be between buyer and seller. Sale Management has no ownership of the facility and assumes no responsibility for the operation of said facility.
