On behalf of all of us here at Black Gold Simmental, we would like to welcome you to our annual bull and female sale. We would like to thank you for the interest in our program, and taking the time to go through our catalog. This coming sale will be our fourth bull sale hosted at the farm, although we have been selling bulls for 25+ years and this is something that we are very passionate about. Each year we are overwhelmed with the support of new and existing customers, and we are always doing everything we can to advance our program and produce the highest quality product for you, our valued customers.
We made it through the fall with pretty mild temperatures, which continued through January for the most part. January has seemed like one of the better months to calve cows the last couple of year’s, and aside from a week of cold weather, we had a very mild month that made it a lot easier to get next year’s offering on the ground safe and sound. The last several months has been a pretty fun time to be in the cattle industry, as cow/calf producers are being rewarded with record prices on both feeder and slaughter cattle, as well as replacement heifers.
Our offering for 2025 is our largest to date, and represents the kind of cattle that we are striving to produce. In our fullblood division we have a few new sire groups on offer. The acquisition of SAJ Vigilante, B Bar C Kayne, and KSL Kilipso have allowed us to offer some new genetics that are still consistent in quality. There are a couple long, smooth, sound feature Vigilante sons, stout and powerful Kayne sons, and low birth, hairy, dark red Kilipso sons. With our new sire groups, we also have our largest Battle Cry sire group to date on offer. On our red side, our largest sire group is sired by the dark red stud, WFL Mountain View 4J. The fleshing ability, colour, hair, and mass in these sons are undeniable and they are standouts. WRC Broadway is a new sire for us that is backed by one of the best cow’s in the breed, and sired a consistent group. On the black side, we are pretty fired up about the first calf crop sired by the $140 000 LFE Cabaret 847J. Undoubtedly the best and most consistent sire group we have ever had in our black program, this group is headlined by the Immortals and Ultimate Legends Supreme Champion, 7M. This will be our second sire group out of KWA Holyfield, whose leadoff son last year was the $210 000 Black Gold Tangleflags 31L. For 2025, our Holyfield sire group is consistent, smooth made, and sound structured with lots of hair. Once again, we have an offering of bulls that are backed by some of the best cow families that we have access to, and try our best to stack as many elite cows into a pedigree as possible.
Each year an extensive AI and ET program allows us to source some of the best genetics available. This also allows us to move our program in the right direction at a more rapid pace, and we enjoy seeing the influence made by some of our best donor cows in just a single year. We also take purchasing herd bulls very seriously, and often do everything possible to ensure that we are buying the best available, that are backed by the right kind of cows. We strive to produce cattle that don’t just excel in a single trait, but rather have a balanced set of quality traits throughout.
We work extensively with Ryley and the entire team at Bullseye Feeds to develop our bulls. Our bulls are fed a high roughage TMR ration from weaning on, with the goal of developing them slowly with longevity in mind. Our cowherd is also on a full mineral program year round, as nutrition is something we pay close attention to and always put emphasis on. We guarantee that these bulls are structurally sound and have passed a semen test by a licensed veterinarian, unless otherwise stated in our supplement sheet prior to sale.
Once again, we would like to thank all of our past, current, and future customers for their support in our program. We are proud of the set of bulls we have to offer, and encourage anyone to come out and have a look through them prior to, or on March 8th. There is always someone around to take you for a tour. We are passionate about the cattle industry, and enjoy talking anything cattle so please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Welcome cattle people from all across the world to the largest and deepest offering from the Noble family of Black Gold Simmentals. Located right in the heart of cow country, the BGS program is a family owned and operated Simmental operation that loves to supply bulls to the industry no matter the intent or purpose. They annually supply these exciting bulls to the best commercial and purebred outfits alike from right across North America and beyond. This 2025 edition features their largest amount of cattle on offer in both quantity and is arguably the deepest set in quality they have offered from the start of the book to the end, from fullblood bulls to red to black and to the replacement heifers in all 3 colours as well. We are proud to invite you all to this great event and hope you accept this as your personal invitation to the March 8, 2025 Sale.
The Fullblood bulls are a deep and soggy set of beef bulls that are annually sought after by top stockmen each year. They are highlighted by a large group off their proven Battle Cry and Bryck 48H herd bulls and excitingly feature some new sire groups such as Kilipso, Vigilante and Kayne amongst others. These Fullblood bulls are absolutely right for the times and you’ll be hard pressed to find this many of this quality that consistently have the same colour, pigment and hair coupled with elite phenotype.
The red bulls are anchored again by a strong set of Mountain View sons that are as dark in colour as they are hairy. Past that these sons offer a unique blend of both calving ease with performance and strong maternal characteristics. New and exciting sire groups would include Broadway to offer some new blood for you to choose from that perfectly compliment the likes of Holyfield and Walk The Line.
This is the strongest and most impressive set of Black Bulls BGS has assembled. This comes by no incident as they have worked diligently like their fullblood and red programs, to build around elite cow families and utilizing elite herd bulls. This is the first calf crop by the $140,000 Cabaret who has blown past his already large expectations. These are power, performance orientated bulls that even the most discriminating cattleman can appreciate. The usual suspects of Countertime, Holyfield, Rebel and Approval amongst others make up a set of black Simmental Bulls that are a must see.
Again available this year are a select group of open papered heifers ready to propel your program. This exciting section of the sale features many embryo transfer females and represent the maternal side of the sale bulls pedigrees. These females come right from the elite cow families that makes BGS tick and are a great opportunity to get ahold of a new female to breed and utilize as you see fit.
We cant endorse the Black Gold Simmentals program enough. These cattle straight up work and year after year it is so refreshing to see many of the same faces show up to purchase cattle here. Not only are the cattle some of the very best we annually get to help market, the people behind them are second to none. Be sure to give any of the Nobles a shout to set up a tour of the cattle anytime before the sale. Make plans to join us on the farm for this exciting sale and a great steak lunch with plenty of hospitality to follow. If you need any assistance whatsover, do not hesitate to contact any of our BMS team, we would be happy to assist.
We are excited to have our largest Battle Cry sire group to date for our 2025 offering. Battle Cry continues to sire the consistent dark red, good footed, low birth, easy doing kind. His daughters in production are good uddered, and we truly couldn’t ask any more of this bull. Battle Cry looks as good as he ever has currently at the age of seven, and is still impressive and youthful in his kind.
NON-DILUTER. We figured we wanted to start our 2025 bull sale the same way we started our 2024 female sale, and that is with progeny off our favorite IPU 41H. 92M is the natural calf off of our 41H donor that we own alongside Elliot Lindgren. To date, we have sold nine bull and heifer progeny off 41H to average $21 000. We think 41H is the kind of female you can paint any colour, or make any breed, and she’s still going to be a favorite of many. 92M is a dark red, big bodied, easy doing bull with four big, dark feet. As a two year old, 41H raised an Outlook son who was our high selling bull that year going to Westgold Farms. We have used him a bit in our own program and the calves sure look promising. 92M has one of the most predictable pedigrees that we can put behind one.
NON-DILUTER. A polled son of Battle Cry with above average performance and muscling. 186M is a long bodied bull with a powerful hip and ideal structure. 83D was a performance cow with extra frame, good feet, and a great udder. In 2021, Applecross Cattle purchased “Battleborn”, who would be a ¾ brother to 186M. Battleborn worked great for Dennis Small and family, and we were able to purchase a daughter back who is the dam of our leadoff Kilipso son, 153M.
NON-DILUTER. 128M is no question one of the top performance bulls in this year’s Battle Cry sire group. This doesn’t shock us, as last year’s full brother was the exact same and a feature bull selling to Whitewood Ranch. 54F has had two other bulls through our bull sale, both were high performing features as well selling to XUX Ranching and Mike Thompson, and Noel Belsheim. To us, 54F is one of our most ideal cows and one we talk about flushing every year. She offers extra performance and length, a perfect udder, and a great colour and pigment pattern. In 2025, she was one of our first cows to calve, giving birth to our first Atomic sired calf. 128M’s growth, length, colour, and hair is typical of this mating. We think 128M is a good example of why we keep going back to the tried and tested Battle Cry 4F.
NON-DILUTER. A polled Battle Cry son that we are quite high on. If we could paint every bull in the pen with the hair, cherry red colour, and extra pigment that 125M carries we would in a heartbeat. He’s a big ribbed, soft made, easy doing bull with extra presence and a sound structure. He carries plenty of performance, length of body, and muscling throughout. 205J is a young cow with the same colour and hair as 125M. She offers extra length of spine, and raised a full brother to 125M last year selling to Nathan Maier at Preeceville.
NON-DILUTER. Similar to 77M, another medium framed Battle Cry son with loads of colour and hair. 39H is a young cow but one that has sure impressed us in a short period of time. Her first calf was a full sister to 16M and a Friday Night Lights featured heifer calf selling to Labatte and Oberle, who has since become a donor for their programs. Last year’s full brother to 16M was one of our high selling fullblood bulls going to the great Kotowich program at St. Paul. 16M is the kind that combines calving ease with some performance and muscling, and we love the cow family standing behind him.
NON-DILUTER. One of the youngest bulls on offer but one that doesn’t lack at all in terms of performance. 21C is a high performing cow with extra frame and muscling, and often injects that extra power into her offspring. Last year, a full brother to 267M was our high selling fullblood bulls selling to Anchor D Ranch, and was also one of our heaviest bulls come sale day. 21C has been a steady, very solid producer for us, and is the granddam of two other bulls in the sale, 85M and 108M.
NON-DILUTOR. A lighter coloured Battle Cry son but one that still carries the non-diluter gene. 107M is a loose-hided, rugged made, sound structured bull with adequate muscling throughout. The Battle Cry x Titanium combination has worked well for us as it combines a double shot of calving ease without giving up much on performance. 33E is a big volume, deep bodied cow who has great feet and a solid udder.
NON-DILUTOR. A lower birth weight, dark red, hairy Battle Cry son with extra colour and pigmentation. 77M is a moderate framed bull with an expressive muscle pattern and bold rib shape. 113H is a young homo polled cow we purchased from the Ultra Livestock program. We like her hair, colour, depth of rib and udder quality. She has a daughter ready to calve here any day, and a Reputation son sold in last year’s sale to Richards Land and Livestock. 77M has just a 90 lb birth weight and ranks in the top 10% for CE.
NON-DILUTOR. Another Battle Cry son with extra length, growth, and performance. 23Z has been an incredible producer to say the least. She simply doesn’t miss, and at the age of twelve was still able to raise 185M to be in the top ten of our bulls for both weaning and yearling weight. She is due to calve again here in January at the age of thirteen and remains very solid uddered and good footed. A full sister to 185M is the highest selling fullblood female we have sold to date, and two other maternal sisters have been features and high sellers in the Evolution. The foot quality, longevity, and overall phenotype behind 185M is as good as any bull in the offering.
NON-DILUTOR. Another good pigmented Battle Cry son with some extra power and punch. 144M is long bodied, smooth made, sound structured, and still reads in the top 25% for CE. Each year we talk about how high we are on our Bryck daughters and 15F is a good example why. She’s a deep ribbed, good uddered cow who produces well each year. She has had two sons in our past bull sales, with both selling to the Laurenceson boys at Mannville.
NON-DILUTOR. A Battle Cry x Titanium combination here that puts 157M in the top 5% for CE, due to his double shot of calving ease. 184G has been a great producer for us, raising one of our high selling breds in the Evolution Vol. II going to Westgold Farms. We like 147M’s colour, pigment, dark feet, and smoothness throughout. We have retained two daughters in our herd off 184G and they sure have nice udders, and lots of fleshing ability.
NON-DILUTOR. Another favorite in this sire group and the kind that we are striving to produce more of. Big bodied, stout made, easy doing, and sound structured. 140M is a medium framed bull who has an attractive presence and walks around the pen with lots of ease. 86G is a moderate framed, big bodied cow who has been mated to Battle Cry each year in production. Two full brothers to 140M are working for Blairswest Land and Cattle and Crystal Springs Ranch, while a full sister is getting ready to calve for us here this winter.
NON-DILUTOR. One of the younger bulls in the offering but a bull we are really quite high on. We think 288M has one of the best and most dependable pedigrees that we can put behind one. 58B is no question one of our top fullblood donors and a cow that still looks awesome as she’s getting ready to calve here any day at the age of eleven. 288M is a sound structured, big bodied, good footed bull with more than enough power and mass. I would expect him to only get better with time and have the longevity advantage in his favour.
NON-DILUTOR. An interesting calving ease prospect here that goes back to our 58B donor. 122M is a dark red, good haired, big hipped bull who steps down on four dark feet. He ranks in the top 2% for CE and 15% for API. 212K is a homozygous polled female that we look to build around in the future. Her Stuey x Bryck combination we like a lot as 48H is an awesome footed, long bodied, powerful bull who is a consistent producer, and our Bryck daughters are some of our top cows. When you throw Battle Cry into 122M’s pedigree, he stacks some of the best and most consistent genetics that we have ever used.
NON-DILUTOR. A Battle Cry x Reputation cross here that resulted in a long bodied, sound structured, good coloured bull with above average muscling and performance. I would expect 232M to calve well due to his added length and smoothness throughout. 281J is a very correct female with an ideal colour pattern, great udder, and big solid foot.
NON-DILUTOR. Another lower birth weight, dark red Battle Cry x Stuey combination. We truly can’t combine two bulls any better that excel in terms of foot quality, longevity, colour, hair, and overall phenotype. 109M is a long bodied, smooth made bull who offers some calving ease. A full brother sold to Blair Anderson a couple years ago, and two sisters have sold in the Evolution, both going to Quebec.
NON-DILUTOR. A low birth weight Battle Cry son that goes back to our Xiang 14X donor cow. 73M started off with just a 75 lb birth weight, and couples that with above average performance and a CE EPD in the top 4%. He’s a smooth polled, long bodied, smooth made bull with a powerful hip. 150K is a typical 14X daughter with an ideal udder and a big solid foot underneath her. 73M is another good calving ease candidate.
HETERO POLLED, NON-DILUTOR. A ¾ brother to 73M, 47M is another polled Battle Cry son going back to our Xiang 14X donor. Starting with just an 82 lb birth weight, 47M ranks in the top 15% for CE and is a good calving ease candidate. We like 47M’s colour, foot quality, and overall phenotype. 141K is a dark red, good uddered female with extra length of body and performance.
DILUTOR. Another low birth weight Battle Cry son that goes back to a very strong cow family. 219K traces back to the very first female we ever flushed, 18U, who was a huge bodied, awesome footed, dark red Jahari daughter. 219K has similar traits in terms of udder quality and body shape. 183M is smooth made throughout and still has a powerful hip and muscle throughout.
Bryck 48H is a polled power bull we have been using for the last few years. He stems from a very solid cow family, as 48H’s dam is a full sister to one of the top fullblood donors in the Labatte/ Oberle program. 48H is an awesome footed, sound made, stout hipped bull who add’s muscle and testicle development. He has a consistent, big bodied sire group for 2025.
NON-DILUTOR. A powerful, dark red bull with lots of pigment to start off our Bryck sire group. If we could paint every fullblood the colour of 228M we would in a heartbeat. 93H is a typical 14X daughter with lots of foot and udder quality, body, hair, and great temperament. 228M is a big hipped, big footed, rugged made bull with lots of length throughout.
NON-DILUTOR. Another powerful 48H son with lots of performance and muscling. Each year, our 48H sons seem to perform well with large scrotal and big square feet. 39G is a good uddered, heavy milking, big ribbed cow. Her first daughter sold in the Evolution to Blue Zone Livestock, and another daughter was our high selling heifer through our spring sale going to Gerein Simmentals.
NON-DILUTOR. A moderate framed, smooth made 48H son that goes back to the great Crossroads Whisper 930W, who was a full sister to Crossroads Radium. Whisper has arguably been the most influential female in our fullblood cow herd, and definitely has more daughters and granddaughters in production than any female we have owned. 105C is an impressive cow with a typical “Whisper” udder body shape.
HETERO POLLED, NON-DILUTOR. 158M is another 48H bull with extra growth, stretch, and performance. 9E is a bigger framed cow with very solid feet and has been a good producer. She has a son working for River View Ranch, and a daughter for Waco Cattle Company out of North Carolina.
HETERO POLLED, NON-DILUTER. 55M offers a more moderate frame with a bit more visual calving ease. He carries a double shot of our 73E cow, who is the stout, powerful, good uddered, awesome footed dam of Black Gold Bryck 48H. 57G is a big framed cow who has a son working for Dale Degenhardt and a daughter again at Waco Cattle Company.
NON-DILUTOR. 108M is a long bodied, big framed, stout made bull with lots of performance. He ranks in the top 15% for WW and 20% for YW, with an adjusted yearling weight of just under 1600 lbs. This comes as no shock, as 179H is a big framed, powerful cow that stems from a family of power and performance.
NON-DILUTOR. A low birth weight, moderate framed bull who offers more calving ease than any 48H son. Just an 84 lb birth weight, he ranks in the top 15% for CE and is smooth blending throughout. 19J is a Battle Cry x Titanium combination which is a double shot of calving ease. Her first daughter sold in the Evolution to Troy Lorenson.
Vigilante is a new bull we purchased alongside Little Willow Creek Ranch, and one we are quite excited for. He was purchased for his dark red colour, great hair, length of body, foot quality, and calving ease. His first sire group did nothing but impress us, with sons that are moderate at birth but perform very well, with structural integrity. Vigilante will play a big part in our future moving forward.
NON-DILUTOR. 219M is a definite feature in this year’s offering and a bull we are quite high on. Soft made, big ribbed, stout hipped and muscular, 219M is still very sound and flexible off both ends and holds his head high with an attractive herd bull look. To us, he has an ideal thick haircoat and has a great temperament. 170J is a past high seller out of the Evolution selling to Elliot Lindgren, who consistently purchases some of the best genetics available. She is a good uddered, big ribbed Reputation daughter with a very quiet temperament. We purchased Vigilante alongside Little Willow Creek Ranch due to his dark red colour, great hair, good foot, and long powerful body shape. 219M is just a February calf but one we think combines a lot of traits that make him an exciting herd bull prospect.
S SAJ VIGILANTE 114K
HPR WILLIAM 117G
SAJ BETSY 64E
ANCHOR D JOVIAL 613J
NON-DILUTOR. Another blood red, good haired Vigilante son with a stout hip and wide top. 163M is a bit more moderate in his frame, but we like his combination of muscle, length, and smoothness throughout. 613J is a moderate framed, extra hairy, big bodied young female with a good udder that came from the Anchor D program.
brother TO LOT 29
NON-DILUTOR. We know our Vigilante sire group isn’t huge for his first year, but we are beyond impressed with the quality and consistency, and here is another feature son we quite like. 13M is a big ended, smooth made bull who steps down on a big square foot. He was a member of our fall show string at Farmfair International this past fall. 149G to us is the ideal cow; the kind that doesn’t matter her breed or colour, she’s always going to be the front pasture kind. She has a son working for Starwest Farms in their heifer pen, and a high quality daughter is getting ready to calve here any day. We like 13M’s combination of more than enough power, with some visual calving ease and overall balance.
NON-DILUTOR. Vigilante seems to be consistent for breeding some extra length of spine into his offspring and 98M is a good example of that. We actually plan to sample him a bit in our heifer pen this spring, as we think his calves are built the right way and maintain moderate birth weights. 83J is an impressive homo polled female with an ideal udder. Her dam was purchased from Johnson Ranching and has always been a favorite of ours.
NON-DILUTOR. The youngest of the Vigilante sire group but a polled bull that offers some visual calving ease with adequate performance. 248M is a small headed, smooth shouldered bull whose long bodied and sound structured. This past summer the Bohrson crew hosted the World Simmental Sale, where we sold a maternal sister to 248M. She was selected by Canadian Donors to contribute to their ET program, and we anxiously await some of her calves to be born here in 2025.
Kilipso is the homozygous polled calving ease specialist purchased alongside Labatte and Oberle. We love his dark red colour, great hair, bold body shape, and smoothness throughout. With his moderation, there is no doubt he will breed heifers for a long time. We are fired up about his first set of sons to sell, with a couple feature bulls that we think are as good as anything in the offering. Kilipso will breed the majority of our heifers here moving forward.
NON-DILUTER. 153M has been on our radar for quite some time and has matured into one interesting herd bull prospect. He started out with just an 88 lb birth weight, weaned off at over 800 lbs, and has an adjusted yearling weight just shy of 1500 lbs. 153M carries good colour, a great, thick haircoat, with a powerful yet smooth body shape. He’s very sound off both ends and holds his head high, yet is still very quiet and laid back in his temperament. 20K is an impressive Battleborn daughter purchased from Applecross. She’s good uddered, good footed, and offers extra length of body with an “in your back pocket” temperament. We are very impressed with the calving ease, growth, hair, and colour on our first set of Kilipso sons. 153M combines an impressive phenotype, a low birthweight, and a top 15% CE EPD. A definite favorite that sells on March 8th!
NON-DILUTOR. A moderate framed, smooth made Kilipso son here, who is the first calf off our $50 000 high selling female in the Evolution going to Elliot Lindgren. 211K is a huge bodied, stout made, great uddered, good footed female who has already entered our donor pen. Her dam just turned thirteen this winter and is due any day as I write this, and still remains youthful in her feet, udder, and body shape. 213M is just a February calf with an 84 lb birth weight, ranks in the top 10% for CE, and carries a moderate frame. We think he’s the kind of bull that can be used on heifer’s for a lot of years.
NON-DILUTOR. A very similar kind to 213M, 278M is another moderate framed Kilipso son with a lot of positive calving ease attributes. Again just a February calf, 278M comes with just a 76 lb birth weight, top 10% CE EPD, and top 15% BW EPD. 47K is one of our favorite “K” model females as she’s always carried a powerful, deep body shape, easy fleshing ability, and very nice udder. She would be a maternal sister to Mark Land and Cattles Black Gold Mortal bull, and her sire was a top Battle Cry son selling to Maxwell Simmentals. We love the cow family behind this guy and think he’s also a top candidate for the calving ease pen.
NON-DILUTOR. A little bit more performance in this dark red Kilipso son but one that’s still smooth in his makeup and his bone structure. 75M is a big hipped, rugged made, early maturing bull who still ranks in the top 5% for CE, and top 20% for BW. In this first year we quite like the Kilipso x Battle Cry combination, as it gives these bulls two shots of calving ease, and an advantage in colour and pigment. 45K is another one of our top “K” model females with a brood cow image and awesome udder. Her dam is arguably one of the best females we have on the place, and goes back to our 3W Janis donor.
NON-DILUTOR. Very similar to 75M, 82M is a dark red calving ease prospect who carries the Kilipso x Battle Cry combination. 161K also goes back to our favorite 3W Janis cow family, and carries the same great udder type we are after and the same dark red colour as 82M. 82M has an up headed, attractive herd bull presence, powerful rib and body shape, and steps down on four dark feet, similar to a lot of these Kilipso sons. We are excited to offer this first group of brothers, and think they are very consistent in their colour, pigment, and quality.
NON-DILUTOR. The third of three Kilipso sons going back to the 3W Janis cow family, and one of the more powerful brothers. 67M is another rugged, big bodied, early maturing bull with a more powerful muscle pattern. 184K is a typical 3W daughter with a great udder and big rib cage. We are excited about the Kilipso bulls ability to combine some fleshing ability, body, and muscle with both visual and genetic calving ease.
HOMO POLLED, NON-DILUTOR. Our lone homozygous polled bull this year and another Kayne son that tips down the scales. 166M is a ¾ brother to 105M and offers extra pigment, growth, and performance while still being sound off both ends. He goes back to our 51X cow who was one of our top cows for a long time due to her overwhelming brood cow image, good udder, and awesome foot. A maternal brother to 166M sold in last year’s sale to Scott Hougham.
NON-DILUTOR. 61M is no question a powerhouse in the offering and has always been a standout amongst his contemporaries. This is the first calf crop we have had from Kayne and we are impressed with their shear power, muscle, testicle development, and performance. 61M is a rugged, big footed, big topped, stout hipped bull who combines an actual weaning weight of 988 with an actual yearling weight of 1530. It’s no surprise that he ranks in the top 15% of the breed for his weaning weight EPD. 45G is also a performance driven cow with a big square foot. We have retained two good uddered daughters off her and she has a son working for Chad Poyser. If you’re looking to inject some power and mass into the next generation without sacrificing the polled gene, take a good look at 61M.
NON-DILUTOR. Another powerhouse Kayne son that has stood out for quite some time. 105M is a hairy, big ended, wide made bull with an attractive smooth polled skull. He combines a double shot of power being off a Twister daughter, and going back to our IPU 41E donor. 105M ranks in the top 4% for WW, 15% for YW, and 1% for MWWT. Another bull that no question should inject some extra power and performance.
NON-DILUTOR. Reputation has been a mainstay in our program for several years. His offspring are consistently the easy doing, big bodied kind that perform well. 149M carries those same attributes, and is mothered by one of our absolute favorite females. 141H is an Elevation daughter going back to our Janis 3W donor who has a perfect udder, attractive look, and captivating body shape. There are several bulls in the offering from this same cow family, and I would expect them to inject that same maternal advantage.
NON-DILUTOR. Another polled Reputation son with a deep rib cage and dimension throughout. 236J is a great uddered young cow that we quite like. The Reputation x Battle Cry cross is a mating we have done time and time again, and one that we will continue to do so. Our Reputation daughters in production are proving to be exceptional mothers with the right amount of milk, and ideal teat size and placement.
NON-DILUTOR. 259M is one of the younger bulls on offer but one that doesn’t give up any in terms of body, mass, or testicle development. 701E is a homo polled female that we really like for her colour, body, and udder quality. She has had three sons sold through our bull sales, and one daughter retained in our herd, who is the dam of the Vigilante son, 98M.
HETERO POLLED, NON-DILUTOR. 71M came in dam from a bred heifer purchase from Beechinor Land and Livestock. 245K was selected for her ideal colour pattern, smooth but powerful muscle pattern, deep rib, and ideal udder. 71M offers a different pedigree being sired by the outcross FSS Polled Hendrix. He ranks in the top 1% for CE, but couples this with a wide body shape and big powerful hip and pin set. A combination of an outcross pedigree, unique genetic profile, moderate birth weight, with some muscle and performance.
NON-DILUTORS. A pair of ET brothers out of the famed Kananaskis 945Z donor from the great people at Ferme Gagnon. The Kananaskis cow family is arguably one of the most potent and respected cow females within our breed, so we were excited to jump at our chance to get some embryos purchased, alongside our good friend Elliot Lindgren. Panther is none other than the maternal brother to NAC Battle Cry 4F, who we were excited to sample after all the success we have had with his brother. These two bulls, although a bit younger, are very complete and hard to pick a hole in. Smooth made and sound, but still robust throughout and stout from behind. Bulls that we think are only getting better with time.
NON-DILUTOR. This is our first year selling some of these extra age bulls, and we are excited to do so. 405L has risen to the top of our fall borns and is an easy doing, big middled, powerful bull with a docile temperament. 35B was a dark red, good footed, awesome footed female that came from a cow family with lots of longevity and maternal power. A full sister to 35B is the dam of one of Labatte and Oberles best fullblood donors, who was purchased out of the Border City sale.
HETERO POLLED, NON-DILUTOR. Another Reputation son that has impressed us as he has matured and grown. 404L is a long bodied, sound structured bull with lots of hip and lower stifle. 14X was a great producer for us with lots of longevity and foot and udder quality. Look for 404L to get some extra cows covered, and sire the easy doing, functional kind.
HETERO POLLED, NON-DILUTOR. 411L is a growth driven bull with extra length of body. He’s dark red with lots of pigment and hair throughout. We will continue to use a bit of Stuey in our ET program. We think his foot quality, temperament, colour, hair, and phenotype is truly timeless.
NON-DILUTOR. 409L has stood out for a while and is an easy doing, huge rubbed, heavy muscled herd bull prospect. 108B is one of our favorite Whisper daughters, and is the dam of the $55 000 Black Gold Mortal bull owned by Mark Land and Cattle. Jenner is also a full brother to the famous Silver Lake Jackson, who is making a name for himself after only his first calf crop.
Mountain View is the dark red stud that has quickly become our go to red herd sire. We love his balanced genetic profile, hair, muscling, structure, and birth to yearling spread. Last year, he sired the best set of red bulls that we have ever offered, only to be rivalled by his group here in 2025. We cannot say enough about Mountain View, and plan to utilize him for a long time in our program. There’s no better time to capitalize on a Mountain View son.
HOMO POLLED. We are extremely excited to once again feature a group of Mountain View sons, and there was never a question who was going to lead off this year;s group. 44M has been a standout his entire life, and is a full brother to our high selling Mountain View son from last year going to Pheasantdale Cattle Company. 44M is cut from the same cloth as his brother last year. Dark red, lots of thick hair, huge ribbed and stout from behind. He’s had that herd bull look from a young age and is square and sound off both ends. He couples a moderate 92 lb birth weight with a 910 lb actual weaning weight, and 1555 lb adjusted yearling weight. He ranks in the top 25% for CE, but still reads in the top 20% and 35% for WW and YW. 40J has done nothing but impress with her first two chances at production. She’s a huge middled, good footed female with a nice udder, and is getting ready to calve here again any day as I write this. 44M is exactly what we have expected to come out of Mountain View, and we are excited to have him in this group of brothers.
HOMO POLLED. Another dark red, hairy standout in the Mountain View sire group. 110M is a similar kind to 44M, as they start off with moderate birth weights, and perform with the top of the pen come weaning and yearling. We like 110M’s smooth shoulder, big dark foot, and adequate bone underneath him. 152J is very similar in terms of her colour and hair. She comes from the Anchor D program, and goes back to one of our top red donors, Certainly Flirtin 532C. 110M should be an easy one to find on sale day.
HOMO POLLED. We are going to sound like a broken record describing these Mountain View sons. The consistent quality and colour is unlike anything we have seen in any other bull we have used. 64M brings a long, smooth body shape while remaining sound off all fours. 129F offers extra length and performance, while being good footed and uddered. She has sons working for Mike Lutzak and Rusylvia/Shologan. 64M is one of the most balanced bulls genetically, as he ranks in the top 15-35% for CE, BW, WW, and YW. Here is another bull to check out if you’re looking to inject dark red colour, calving ease, and performance.
HOMO POLLED. Very similar in type and kind is this dark red brother. 27M offers a double shot of colour and calving ease, being mothered by a Limitless x Cream Soda female. 27M has looked like a herd bull his whole life, and is attractive yet smooth and masculine through his front one third. These Mountain View sons are big scrotalled and consistently have big, dark feet underneath them.
HOMO POLLED. 138M has been a favorite for some time. His ability to combine an attractive presence through his head and crest, but blends back into a robust rib shape and big stout hip. He takes his mass and power to the ground on a wide base. 81J is blood red in colour with a good udder and lots of hair. We have talked about featuring her in one of our sales, but decided to keep her as we believe she is the front pasture kind. She carries an outcross pedigree to most red genetics as she was an embryo purchase out of the US. 138M we think has a lot of neat pieces and does so much right, and is sure to be a feature come March 8th.
HOMO POLLED. A younger Mountain View son but one of the more extended bulls with extra frame. 218M offers extra performance, stoutness of feature, and length of spine. 515C is a powerful female that consistently produces the big bodied, easy doing, performance driven kind. She was the granddam of our high selling red female in the Evolution this past fall, selling to South View Ranch for $35 000.
HOMO POLLED. Possibly the stoutest, widest made Mountain View son in the offering. We like his added bone, pin width, and topside shape. Last year, a full sister sold as our high seller to Martin Cattle Services and Jace Cattle. She has laid down and calved now and has a great udder. 76M is one of the top red bulls in the pen, and ranks in the top 3% for WW and 10% for YW.
HOMO POLLED. We are excited to offer a new sire group in our red division, WRC Broadway. Broadway is an exciting red bull with a royal pedigree, being out of the great 202Z donor from Ranciers. 120M is long bodied, big hipped, very flexible on the move and has an upheaded presence. He was a bull that we talked about dragging on the show road last fall. 247H is a big bodied blazed face female, whose dam was a full sister in blood to the AI stud, Profit. 120M has an adjusted yearling weight just shy of 1600 lbs, and is one of our top performance bulls, that handles his power well with lots of balance throughout.
HETERO POLLED. A Broadway son here with lots of length of body and power, with a thick ideal haircoat. We are very high on our Crossroads Black Rebel daughters; they appear to make nice, moderate framed cows with good udders and lots of milk. Last year, our two high selling Mountain View sons both came off Black Rebel first calvers. 239H is a typical Black Rebel daughter that we quite like, and goes back to our Cruisin Susan donor from Double Bar D.
HETERO POLLED. Each year we try to mate some of our top Purebred and Fullblood Genetics, and 266M is a good reason why we will continue to try and do so. Just a midFebruary calf but one that’s always performed with the older bulls. He’s early maturing, extremely easing doing, stout muscled, and rugged made. With his 942 lb actual weaning weight and 1598 lb adjusted yearling weight, there is no doubt 266M should add pounds to his calf crop.
HOMO POLLED. Another high performing Broadway son that has always had that herd bull look. 99M is a big ribbed, heavy muscled bull with an up-headed presence. His dam is one of our top red cows as she is so big bodied and easy doing, and steps down on big, good feet. She had our high selling purebred bred female in the Evolution this past fall, selling to South View Ranch for $35 000.
HOMO POLLED. These Broadway sons are consistent in their type and kind in terms of offering performance, muscle, body, and structural integrity. 216M is a typical son with lots of hair. 47H is a big framed cow with a good udder and powerful body shape. She had a daughter sold through the Evolution a couple years ago, going to Fore See Cattle.
HOMO POLLED. A red blazed face Holyfield son, out of our Springcreek Mickey 10D donor. 141M is long bodied, smooth shouldered, and balanced throughout with some visual calving ease. This will be the last progeny to sell off 10D; she was a great producer being a moderate framed, huge bodied cow with perfect feet and a good udder.
HOMO POLLED. This dark red, performance driven, Holyfield son has been a favorite all year. He offers extra growth and performance, a stout hip, lots of hair, and four big dark feet. Unfortunately, 174M is an unregistrable purebred but nonetheless, one of our top red bulls, 13J is a powerful black blazed cow with a good udder and very solid feet. Last year, her Mountain View son sold to Derek Wright in our bull sale.
HOMO POLLED. 154M is the result of a large forty embryo purchase off the great Sammie donor owned by Canadian Donors. Last year, we sold seven Sammie sons to average just shy of $19 000. She truly is one of the best red donors in the business, and we are ecstatic about the daughters we have calved out so far in 2025. 154M is a moderate framed, wide made, sound structured bull with an attractive herd bull look.
HOMO POLLED. 420L is a dark red, big hipped, August born bull that is sired by the AI stud, TCCO Tonic. This will be our first year selling these extra age bulls and we are impressed with how they have developed. Their extra age and maturity no doubt should help them cover those extra cows come spring. 200H is a Soda Pop daughter that carries her same overwhelming body shape, power, and mass. 420L would be a maternal brother to our two feature Cabaret bulls, 159M and 167M.
Cabaret is the past high selling stud from the Lewis Farms program that we purchased alongside KT Ranches and Canadian Sires. He sired no question the best black sire group we have ever offered. We love this sire group for their moderate birth, body and muscle shape, fleshing ability, foot quality, temperament, and overall performance. Cabaret is backed by one of the best black donors at LFE, with the great 404B from Ranciers on his topside as well. We are very high on his first sire group, but really can’t wait to get his daughters into production, as we feel he is as versatile as any bull we have ever used.
HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. We are pretty excited to feature our best and most consistent sire group we have ever had in our black program, the Cabarets. In saying that, probably none are better or more exciting than 7M. He has been a standout his entire life and has only continued to get better. His fleshing ability, depth of body, softness, and overall power is undeniable. He is our number one performance bull at weaning and number 2 at yearling, and has an ADG of 4.53 lbs/day. What we find equally or more impressive is how he combines his power with a well balanced, smooth made, large scrotal image. He steps down on big, square, impressive feet, and is still flexible on the move. 7M was part of our fall show string, where he was named Supreme Champion Bull at both the Immortals in Stettler, and the Ultimate Legends at Farmfair. His dam is a past high seller in the Evolution going to Elliot Lindgren, and in the Evolution this past October, we featured three full sisters to 7M, where they averaged just over $44 000 with a high of $82 500. 7M combines an awesome phenotype, moderate birth weight, and pen leading performance, with two of the best purebred animals that we own backing his pedigree. We are excited to incorporate him into our own breeding plans moving forward.
LOT 68: HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. LOT 69: HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. Another powerful set of ET brothers sired by Cabaret, and out of one of our favorite Soda Pop donors, owned with Mark Land and Cattle and Westman Farms. 159M is the white nosed brother that’s a shot more moderate, but has an easy doing, big bodied image with a stout rear leg. 167M is an absolute powerhouse with so much genuine width and muscle throughout, and was a member of our champion pen of bulls at Edam Fall Fair. He is a performance driven bull with our number one yearling performance and ADG, at over 5 lbs/day. On top of this, he ranks in the top 15-35% for CE, BW, WW, and YW, and top 4 and 10% for API and TI. We like both of these bulls and for different reasons, but think they deserve a second look.
LOT 70: HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. LOT 71: HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. LOT 72: HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. LOT 73: HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. LOT 74: HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. It was a no-brainer for us to mate Cabaret with the $62 000 valued IRCC Foxtrot 862F. Foxtrot phenotypically is a breathtaking female with an unmatched look and presence, smooth but bold body shape, and an ideal foot and udder structure. We sold a full sister to these bulls at Friday Night Lights this past fall, going to Quinn Hoegl who will be dragging her around the show road for the next year. These five full brothers differ a bit in terms of size and performance, but the quality is strong in each one of them. 42M was drug on the show road this fall, where he was named the Champion Simmental Bull at Stockade Round-Up. He’s long bodied, smooth made, stout muscled, and has a great look. We find 155M to be similar in terms of colour pattern, type, and kind. 50M is the heavyweight, performance driven, rugged made brother that was a member of our Champion Pen of Bulls at Edam Fall Fair. 14M offers extra growth and frame, with a soft sweeping rib cage and big stout foot. 68M is the most moderate brother, but has so much body, softness, and hair throughout. We think these bulls each individually have something neat to offer, and would invite you out to pick a favorite for yourself.
RF CALIBER 014G LFE BS KAT 671E IRCC BOOMSHAKALAKA 434B IRCC DANCING QUEEN 607D
HETERO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. Another Cabaret son with lots of length of body and smoothness throughout. 83G is a Cream Soda daughter and one of our favorites at that. That cow family consistently threw the big, bold, easy doing kind. The foot quality on the Cabaret offspring seem to be very good, and 29M is no exception.
HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. As much depth and boldness of rib, fleshing ability, and overall dimension as any bull in the sale. This is typical of 125F progeny as she’s always raising the easy doing, huge ribbed kind, very similar to herself who was a past FNL feature selling to Greenwood Cattle. She is still very refined up front and steps down on near perfect feet. Look for 39M to inject a bit of extra power, while having very strong maternal genetics behind him.
1/2 BLOOD, HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK RESULTS PENDING. We haven’t bred a whole lot of halfblood cattle in the past, but do more and more of it each year as the cattle seem to be consistent and high in quality. 72M is a bull we quite like for his softness of rib, muscle, added hair, and up-headed presence. His dam is a high quality President cow of Chelsie’s who has daughters working for Rusylvia Cattle and Brooking Angus Ranch. We like 72M’s combination of calving ease and performance, and high end Simmental and Angus genetics.
HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. 261M is a February born bull that has been on our radar for quite some time. An up-headed, attractive stud, 261M blends back into a robust center body and plenty of muscle from behind. He stands square on all fours, is very flexible off both ends, and looks to be big and square in his foot size and shape. At his only outing this fall, he was named Intermediate Bull Calf Champion at Agribition. We think he is the kind that could continue to compete in the show ring as he gets older. It’s honestly impossible to put into words what Hoya Hayleigh has done for us and our program. She’s truly a once in a lifetime female that is consistently producing offspring with the same breed leading qualities that she exhibited herself. Last year was our first year selling Hayleigh bulls, where two full brothers to 261M sold to average $35 000. We currently have retained seven full sisters to 261M, and we cannot wait to get them into production. We think the opportunities with 261M are endless.
It is such a pleasure working with the Black Gold operation. The energy and passion for the seedstock industry runs deep in all the Noble family. Each year they continue to have a selection of bulls that will move any program forward.
The cowherd utilizes a year-round organic mineral program that is balanced to the cow’s requirements and feed sources. This supports proper bull calf health and development from a young age. The bull development program is built to maximize forage utilization and gut health. All forages are sampled and analyzed to ensure quality feed sources are used. Once the calves are weaned, they are slowly transitioned to a TMR. The TMR is forage based and is designed to promote lean muscle growth, allowing the bulls to express their genetic potential. Rumen health is of upmost importance, which is why suitable protein sources and proper starch levels are fed to the bulls.
Black Gold uses a total nutrition program on their entire operation, ensuring optimal performance and health of their cattle. If you have any questions about the nutrition of the sale bulls, please feel free to call.
Good luck on sale day!
HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. 303L is our lone two year old in the offering and a bull we have always liked. Last spring, 303L was too young to sell as a yearling as he wouldn’t have been a year old at sale time, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Last spring when Mountain View went down, 303L was turned out into his cows and even covered a small group of heifers as well. 303L is extremely long bodied, sound structured, and steps down on large, good feet. He ranks in the top 10 and 15% for CE and BW, and 40% for WW and YW. A full sister to 303L calved here a few days before I wrote this, and she is one of our top two year olds with a great udder.
Last year, Holyfield’s rookie calf crop took us by storm, siring the $210 000 Black Gold Tangleflags 31L. We love Holyfields combination of calving ease and performance, as we have a handful of calves born here in 2025 off him and first calf heifers. From calving ease bulls to some of our best power bulls, his sire group for 2025 has a bit of everything. We can always count on Holyfield to sire good footed, long bodied, hairy offspring that come small and grow rapidly.
HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. 236M is an interesting calving ease prospect with a unique but outcross pedigree. He is the natural calf off the Hayleigh daughter purchased by Kehler Eaton and family that had a very successful show career a couple falls ago. She ended the year as Supreme Champion Female in the First Lady Classic at Agribition. 236M is a moderate framed, smooth made, sound structured bull with a great colour pattern and lots of hair. He started out with only a 74 lb birth weight, and ranks in the top 10% for CE. We sure think highly of this young stud and think he has lots to offer as a possible calving ease option.
HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK RESULTS PENDING . 10M is an absolute powerhouse all the way through. He’s so easy doing, huge bodied, and muscular. This is pretty common for the Pillowtalk offspring, as she’s a powerful cow who puts everything she has into her offspring each year. 10M was the third member of our Champion Pen of Bulls at the Edam Fall Fair. A full sister to 10M was our second high selling black bred in the Evolution this past fall, going to Red Willow Ranch. This blazed face tank should be easy to find on sale day.
HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK . 241M is a younger bull in the offering but another Holyfield son that we are quite high on. His dam is a past Evolution high seller that we own with the Eaton family of Bar SK Cattle. She was a many time champion for Kehler, and has since turned into a big time donor cow with a good udder. 241M is long sided, muscular, and good built with lots of flex off both ends. He combines a moderate birth weight and calving ease with plenty of performance, and a pedigree that we consider predictable for consistent quality.
HETERO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. The youngest bull in the offering but one that fits in well with a pen of older contemporaries. 319M is very soft made, deep ribbed, and muscular with an abundance of hair. His dam is a moderate framed Cream Soda daughter with the same kind of rib and body shape. A ¾ brother to 241M, these bulls are built sound at the ground with plenty of power and performance throughout.
HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. Our only black Broadway son, but one that comes with a moderate birth weight and above average performance. 223M is moderate in frame, wide made, and smooth through his front end. 160H has an awesome pedigree being a Liner 56U daughter, off the great deceased Mollydooker donor of Bohrsons.
HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. 279M is a younger bull that has done nothing but get better his entire life. Sired by our past $102 000 high selling Ava’s Scream, and out of the Elegant Force donor that has been so good for Ty-D Livestock. 279M is an awesome haired, good structured, proud bull with a powerful body pattern. A few years ago, Ty-D livestock sold a maternal sister to 279M for $54 000 for half interest, just a couple weeks after she was named Reserve Champion Simmental Female at Agribition.
HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. A moderate framed, great haired, smooth made Black Rebel son that has a double shot of calving ease, being off an Approval 51H daughter. 217K is none other than the maternal sister to the $210 000 Black Gold Tangleflags 31L. She’s a moderate framed, stout made, black blazed face female with a good udder. 84M ranks in the top 10% for both CE and BW, and is a good calving ease candidate.
HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. Another Black Rebel son that started off with just a 78 lb birth weight, and off a Supercharged female we purchased from LA Ranch at Friday Night Lights. 79K is a good uddered, hard working female, who is backed by one of LA’s best donors. Black Rebel calved very well for us here for a lot of years, and we think 97M should follow in his footsteps.
SCURRED, HOMO BLACK. 15M combines a very neat pedigree and impressive genetic script. He ranks in the top 15% for CE, 3% for BW, and 2% for MCE. 15M is a growth driven, big ribbed, stout made bull who started out with just a 75 lb birth weight. 199K is none other than a full sister to our Hoya Hayleigh donor, and an ideal young cow with a good udder.
HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK. 142M is another Walk This Way son with a moderate 88 lb birth weight. We are very impressed with our Reddington daughters, as he is an udder improver and steps down on a large, square foot. 142M is an awesome haired, big hipped bull with an attractive upheaded presence.
HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. 205M has always been an impressive younger bull that we quite like. He’s a long bodied, stout muscled bull with lots of hair and a big square foot. 55K is an awesome uddered, hairy Walk this Way daughter, who stems back to our Springcreek Mickey 10D donor. 205M is another bull with a very impressive birth to yearling spread, with an adjusted yearling weight of 1555 lbs and an ADG of 4.25 lbs/day.
REMINGTON LOCK N LOAD 54U
HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. 48M is a son of the deceased Hannibal son that has bred so well over the last few years. He started out with only a 70 lb birth weight, and has an adjusted yearling weight of 1470 lbs. He has a double shot of calving ease, being out of a good uddered, dark red, Approval daughter. 48M ranks in the top 1% for CE, BW, and API. An interesting breeding piece with a very impressive birth to yearling spread.
HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. 175M is an attractive baldy Hannibal son with added frame, length of body, and steps down on big square feet. Flirt 264K is a past Friday Night Lights high seller we purchased alongside Twin Springs. She’s a moderate framed, huge bodied, great uddered, good footed young donor that we are excited to build around. 175M ranks in the top 2% and 4% for WW and YW, and in the top 15% for CE. He’s an intriguing baldy that combines muscle, growth, look, and an awesome cow family.
68M is our lone Angus bull in this year’s offering and the natural calf off our Tibbie 410K donor. 410K was the high selling heifer calf in the Angus Collection, purchased alongside Twin Springs Farm and Canadian Donors. She is a perfect uddered, great footed female with power throughout. This past fall, we sold two maternal sisters to 68M for $25 000 and $17 000. 68M’s ability to fit in in a pen of Simmental contemporaries is impressive to say the least. He’s powerful yet still smooth blending, sound made, and very docile.
Each year we try to raise the quality of the females we sell in our spring sale, and 207M is our best effort at doing that. Her dam was our $52 000 selection from Virginia Ranch, and is our newest and most exciting fullblood donor, who we will have six calves born off of in 2025. 207M is dark red, big bodied, sound structured with lots of hair. We are excited to offer this exciting female come March, we expect big things to come from her dam in the future.
162M is a moderate framed, big bodied polled Battle Cry daughter. 22K is the similar type and kind with a good udder. She goes back to 73E, who is the dam of our Black Gold Bryck 48H herd sire.
This is our first calf crop off Vigilante, and we are beyond impressed with his offsprings calving ease, growth, colour, and power. 89H is another moderate, good uddered homo polled female, purchased from Beechinor Bros.
Sometimes things don’t always go as planned, and last spring when we were setting up 129J to flush, a young yearling Vigilante hopped the panel and ended up getting her bred. 173M combines her dams attractive look, build, and length, with a bit of extra muscle and power.
Kilipso is a homo polled calving ease bull purchased alongside Labatte and Oberle for use in the heifer pen. We are impressed with the calving ease, colour, and fleshing ability of his offspring. 23M is a dark red, big bodied female with lots of pigment, and goes back to our Whisper cow family.
215M is another Kilipso daughter with dark red colour and lots of pigment. 3K came in dam from a bred heifer purchase from Ultra Livestock. She’s a heavy milking cow with a good foot underneath her, and her maternal brother is an impressive Battle Cry son at the front of the catalog.
A moderate framed, polled, deep ribbed Kayne daughter that’s easy to like. Her dam is a Stuey x Whisper 930W, two of the best and most consistent breeding pieces that we have ever owned.
Another Kayne daughter that offers extra growth, length, and performance. Kayne has proved to increase performance, muscling, and maturity on his first calf crop and 206M is a good example of that.
Another moderate framed, extra hairy big bodied female. Here is a Bryck 48H daughter, out of a blood red, huge ribbed female from XRC. We always say our Starwest Bryck daughters are some of our best cows, and 48H seems to be following in that same fashion.
HOMO POLLED. 34M is a striking red female born out of two black parents. 105J is a past leadoff and high selling female from Indian River Cattle Company in Ontario, and has turned into a big bodied brood cow after a successful show career. Holyfield injects length of body, foot quality, and hair into his offspring and 34M is a good example of that.
HOMO POLLED TEST PENDING. A big footed, big boned, stout made daughter that carries a double shot of Black Gold Approval. 30M goes back to the great Soda Pop cow family, that has shaped our purebred program into what it is today.
HOMO POLLED TEST PENDING. An Approval 51H daughter going back to a nice Reddinton cow. 156M has extra hair and length, similar to her good uddered dam. We have always quite liked our 51H progeny and their consistency and quality. We showed the Canadian Show Female of the year this past fall, which consisted of a two year old cow with a 51H heifer calf at side.
HOMO POLLED. A neat pedigree here with a Hannibal heifer going back to the infamous Springcreek Brooke cow family. 11W is the dam of Brooke 68Z, one of the top red donors and embryo sellers in the KT Ranch donor arsenal. 132M is feminine and attractive, yet bold through her center body.
HETERO POLLED. A younger heifer that is a cross of our fullblood and purebred genetics. 242K jumped up over a month and calved here in mid January 2025. She’s a big ribbed, dark red, easy doing cow with a good udder. I would expect 298M to be very similar once she gets into production.
HOMO POLLED. The youngest female in the offering but an attractive, smooth blazed face Broadway daughter. 9E is a dark red good uddered cow with a docile temperament. Broadways dam is the great 404B, and should add maternal merit to Broadways offspring.
HOMO POLLED. A Holyfield daughter with extra growth, frame, and power, similar to her dam. 37J’s dam is a powerful baldy Bankroll daughter purchased from Double Bar D. 37J should inject some extra power and punch into her offspring.
1/2 BLOOD, HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK. Our only halfblood female in the offering but no question one of the best. 45J is a moderate framed, huge bodied female that goes back to Chelsie’s top Angus cow, 39G. 39G has a daughter working for Brooking Angus Ranch, and another at Rusylvia Cattle who was shown as a two year old cow this past fall. 104M is an easy doing, huge bodied, stout made female with cow power written all over her.
Our female offering wouldn’t be complete without daughters off of Soda 425B. A powerhouse female mated to add look and structural integrity, these three daughters have some neat pieces to offer. The solid black females would be full siblings to the two Jorgensen and Eaton past Evolution high sellers, and now big time donors. The blaze female is sired by the $240 000 Countertime, who sired several high sellers south of the border the last couple years. Take advantage of this opportunity to purchase some females early in the year that carry a rock solid pedigree and have lots of quality.
HOMO POLLED. Another Holyfield daughter with extra frame and length. 95F is a stout made, huge bodied, big footed white faced cow with a good udder. Her dam bred here for twelve years and remained awesome footed and good uddered, with several progeny through our bull sale.
HOMO POLLED. Holyfield x Black Rebel combination here, resulted in deep ribbed, easy doing female. 96J is a moderate framed, soft, deep bodied female whose dam was purchased out of Friday Night Lights.
HOMO POLLED. We can’t wait to get these Holyfield daughters into production; he goes back to the great KWA Ms Rock 14X donor who has been one of the best red donors in the breed. 151M has a double shot of donor cow in her, as 136H is a daughter of our Springcreek Mickey 10D donor who bred so consistently for us for a lot of years.
HOMO POLLED TEST PENDING. We round out the offering with a blazed face female with a bit of extra muscle and stoutness. 65J is a good footed cow with a bold body shape and a nice udder.
