footsteps of his are no longer here to walk beside, I will continue to follow his words of wisdom by raising bulls and females that are functional, profitable, and true to the Angus breed.
Welcome to our 6th Annual Bull Sale to be held on our farm on Saturday, March 18th at 1pm. We Thank You for placing confidence in our program throughout the years, and our goal is to make the purchase of your bull an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
This Spring a friend asked me if calving cows ever gets old. I said No. Each calf brings excitement and a sense of accomplishment. The feeling of watching your favorite cow calve, a first time mother, or a mother that you know is raising her last baby never gets old to me. It gets exhausting and overwhelming at times, but this lifestyle and producing a product that is vital in the Ag industry never gets old. Within this statement also lies the excitement and anticipation of watching new genetics and bulls at work. Through the use of Embryos, AI sires and premium walking bulls we are working hard to ensure that our customers are getting bulls and females that will turn a profit and enhance their herd. Our herd has over half a century of breeding behind them, and we are proud to offer them for your appraisal. The Angus breed offers everything you could ask for in a cow. The mothering ability, calf vigor and beef quality cannot be ignored. I grew up with this breed, and my Dad was adamant to never veer off and change what made the Angus so popular in the first place. Even though these
We encourage you to come out and look at the bulls and heifers on the 17th or 18th, as they will be on display and easy to view. However, if you cannot make it, we encourage you to call ourselves or a member of the Bohrson Marketing group to help you. I have put my trust in the Bohrson crew to make purchases for myself, and have always appreciated their honesty and commitment to finding the best animals they can for me. I genuinely appreciate their friendship and Thank them for helping us out today. I would also like to acknowledge Trent Walls for always being there to help clip and picture bulls and his sale day help for many years. Another Thank You to Maddison Sibbald for her talent getting the pictures and catalogue put together. And mostly my family for all their help and support. It takes a village.
We feel fortunate for the success we had at Agribition last fall, however our achievements aren’t measured in a banner, but rather the friendships made and the success of our customers. Your success becomes our success. The purchase of a bull can change the whole dynamic of your calf crop and the future of your herd. We feel we have a group of honest bulls at affordable prices, and we would love to have you join us at the sale or online at DLMS. We are humbled by everyone that has expressed an interest or made purchases before, and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday, March 18th!

Perrots Moonshine 7K was one of those bulls you just love the moment they are born. Born with only an 88lb birth weight and never looking back, he has exceeded our expectations in terms of power and presence. Moonshine has an exceptional disposition, and displays massive volume and dimension. He is extremely sound and solid footed, with a large scrotal, strong jawline and big long hip. I believe he is the best we have ever raised.
His dam is phenotypically my favorite cow on the ranch. This treasured pedigree goes back decades to one of the first cows my dear Dad ever purchased. She’s extremely big barreled and easy fleshing with a stellar udder. She carries an ideal Angus head and exhibits all the characteristics I look for within this breed.
In his first time ever being shown, we took Moonshine 7K to Agribition where he was crowned Semex’s “Presidents Classic Champion” over all breeds. Later on in the week, he also captured the title of “Senior Bull Calf Champion” in the Angus show. It was a true honor for our family to win these titles and to have Cattlemen and Women from all breeds compliment us on this bull we raised. We Thank You.
Today we are offering only 5 packs of 20 straws, semen packages on Perrots Moonshine 7K and this will be the only semen offered on him this Spring. Here is your chance to be a part of this exclusive opportunity!!!
COOL WHIP 73K 2 Perrot
2286807 : ANNA 73K : FEBRUARY 05 2022
This bull came here through some embryos we purchased from our good friends at Brooking Angus. The dam is a striking donor cow at Brooking that displays volume and eye appeal with a beautiful Angus character head.
The Bloodline cattle have been some of our very best in the bullpen this year. They show tremendous growth, muscle and performance with some added frame, and a super gentle disposition. I have this guys full sister in the heifer replacement pen, and I cannot wait to see her in production. In his own right, Cool Whip 73K has added frame, depth of body and is structurally sound. With his sharp profile and big ears, he’s hard not to notice in the pen. Make sure to take a look at this bull come sale day.
*Retaining 50% semen interest
Lot 2Perrots King 61K is a strong SAV Bloodline son that carries that extra depth of body, length of spine and attractive profile. He is a very well balanced bull that maintains a modest Birth weight. His dam was purchased as one of my picks in the U2 Dispersal, but she originally was purchased through the Wilgor Dispersal in Quebec. She is an ideal Angus type cow with a bold rib, strong udder, and very feminine front third. She has a gentle disposition, and within this combination, this bull should make calves that are super marketable and easy to manage.
61K
: ANNA 61K : JANUARY 28 2022
: ANNA 16K : JANUARY 09 2022 FUEL 16K
This Bloodline bull has been on my radar since he was a baby. He’s complete made and soft sided with some added depth and a long thick quarter. He is structurally sound and moves out well. With his dam being a direct Density daughter, he has a lot of maternal power backing him up. Fuel 16K was entered to be shown at Agribition, but with him being so close in age to our other show bull, we left this guy at home. This bull has a bright future, and I think he is worth analyzing.
Perrots Palermo 20K is the only Bravo son we have raised here, as the rest have all been females. We love how these Bravo cattle are born small and grow to be thick, sound cattle that are super easy to handle, and even easier to maintain. The dam of this bull is a long bodied smooth made cow with a solid hoof and udder structure. We sold a past daughter off her to KCH Cattle, and we think she has done a stellar job raising this bull. He is sound and attractive while carrying thickness and length combined with a moderate birth weight.
PALERMO 20K
FINAL ANSWER 42K 6
This bull carries a pedigree stacked with some of the greatest old bulls in the Angus breed. A Final Answer out of a direct Density daughter. Both Final Answer and Density’s legacy lie in the females they leave behind. They have been sought after for their growth combined with easy fleshing, fertile and great uddered daughters. The dam of Apollo is the quietest cow on the farm, and her maternal sister was the Senior bred heifer Champion at Agribition in 2016, and then selling for $22,000 that same week. This is a very complete bull with added substance, style, and predictability built in.
Sire Coleman Bravo 6113SMOKESHOW 2K
This trio of flushmates stem from a past high selling heifer calf that we purchased from our good friends, the Longshore family of Bar-E-L Angus in Alberta. She was a beautiful producing cow with strong numbers, and fortunately we managed to get her flushed before we lost her last year. She raised our high selling bull in 2021 to the Delormes of South Shadow Angus, as well as another top bull to Kings Corner in 2022. Within this flush, there is a beautiful heifer calf in our replacement pen that I think will rise to the top once she gets into production.
The sire of these bulls is none other than the Scheifelbein Showman 338, whose highly sought after semen sold for an outstanding $1850 per semen straw. Showman has the ability to add a good disposition with extra performance and good looks. On their own right, these 3 brothers exude power, strong phenotype, length and muscle while maintaining a smooth shoulder. They carry some strong numbers, and I think this is a very powerful group with lots of potential.
SHOWSTOPPER 17K
67K
This pair of bulls are flush mate brothers stemming from Showman 338. As mentioned in previous footnotes, this Showman semen sold for $1850 a straw, and his progeny were highly sought after for their impeccable good looks and gentle disposition combined with strong performance and EPD numbers. The dam of these bulls originates from Quebec, but we acquired her through the U2 dispersal as one of my top choices. She is super attractive with a big bold rib, and a very feminine front third. This combination gave us this pair of marketable bulls that are both visually pleasing and easy to handle.

Wilgor 75Y Queen 14B
Sire of lots 10 & 11
Schiefelbein Showman 338
45K
This young bull is an attractive deep made Franchise son out of a Renovation cow we purchased as a heifer calf as one of the high selling heifers from Northern View Angus in the 2019 Touch of Class sale. The dam is a voluminous made cow with added depth of body, and carries an ideal udder structure. Her first calf was a flashy heifer calf prospect that we sold through last years sale to the Tober family of Riverside Farms. I think this bull has the ability to add the muscle and power of Franchise and the maternal strength and phenotype of Renovation to his progeny.
This power bull stems from a proven cow family that continually brings forth top progeny every year. The dam of this bull sold her first bull through this sale last year to our repeat customers at Leaning Spruce Cattle in Manitoba, and she continues to raise the bar with this stout made attractive bull. The combination of SAV Shortcut and Franchise really made some powerful bulls with added performance and muscle shape.
Another Franchise bull that stems from our SAV Shortcut bull. This combination of muscle and power has been well received by past customers. From a pedigree standpoint, this bull originates from the same cow family as the bull we did so well with at Agribition last fall. Blacktop 49K is worth a look as he has the ability to transmit hair, thickness, docility and maternal strength to his offspring.
BLACKTOP 49K
Sire Peak Dot Franchise 389F
FERNANDO 100K
Fernando 100K is a bull that carries depth of body and muscle expression throughout. He is as solid as you can make them, and he is anchored by the Enchantress cow family whose dam was purchased through the world renown Schaff Angus Valley herd. Enchantress 7015 was flushed successfully here, and one of her daughters was sold last December at the Collection sale to the highly successful Greenwood herd for $21,000. A full sister to this bull was shown in 4H last year by Talia where she claimed Champion Heifer title on Achievement Day. Fernando 100K is a bull that maintains some performance powerhouses in his pedigree both paternally and maternally.
I really like these Bonzai bulls with their ideal Angus heads and big fluffy ears. This fella is widetopped, long haired, and soft made. He combines thickness throughout, and carries that down through his hindquarter. The combination of SAV Shortcut and Bonzai should make for highly marketable cattle that are efficient and easy to manage.
When you analyze the Bonzai progeny you will notice how similar in type they all are. Nice headed, moderate but built stout with good dispositions. They carry manageable birthweights and are sound moving. This bulls dam is a first calf heifer out of SAV President, a bull that sold for $750,000 in the Schaff sale in 2017, and stemming from one of their highest income cows. This thick and efficient bull is worth a look.
BUBBA 85K
Perrots Bubba 85K is a stout made Bonzai son with extra depth of body, extra hair, and extra muscle. I think he would be a solid choice to use especially if you are seeking to raise marketable steers without sacrificing maternal strength.
BONZAI 60K
This young bulls is an ideal heifer safe option. He is a moderate framed, small birth weight bull out of a beautiful 3 year old Capitalist daughter that carries a sweet disposition and ideal udder structure. The dam was also a class winner in a very strong class of heifer calves at Agribition in 2019. A good bull to lower birth weights, and to add hair and maternal strength.
The one and only Galaxy son in the offering, and he is a good one. Maternally, he stems off the BarE-L Rose 11E cow who is also the donor dam on the trio of flush mates selling in this sale. Rose 11E was a cow that we really admired for her strong phenotype, and maternal capabilities. Our Lewis Galaxy bull was injured last summer, and that was an unfortunate loss as his first female crop calved this Spring, and we absolutely love this type and kind of female. They are moderate and easy fleshing with extra depth of body and an attractive profile. Eclipse 91K in his own right is level topped, extremely deep an soft made with a nice phenotype. If you are looking to build a strong maternal base, Eclipse would be one of my top picks for that purpose.
Perrots Guarantee 35K is an ideal heifer safe option. He is long bodied and extremely thick muscled with a gentle disposition. He would work perfectly on heifers that need some added muscle expression and depth. His sire brings forth a different twist to the pedigree while displaying double digit Calving Ease numbers, and both his Weaning and Yearling weights place him in the top 1% of the breed.
Southern Comfort 52K is our only South Point son this year, and we think he has a lot to offer. He has plenty of substance and bone for a small birth weight bull, combined with a long, stout, hairy body that transitions into a smooth shoulder with an attractive head with big ears. The dam is a long fronted cow with a big barrel, some mass and high milk numbers. Southern Comfort is a great option if You’re looking for a bull with style, maternal strength, and a moderate Birth weight.
52K
As per request, I have added a Sim/Angus to this years sale offering. This king of performance carries that attractive blaze face, and should have the ability to throw some length, frame and muscle into your cattle if that’s what you’re seeking. His dam and granddam are among my top unregistered females, and both carry ideal udders with big bold ribs and are phenotypically attractive. The Loaded Up sire of Perrots Fully Loaded 43K was sold in the US for $240,000 for half interest, and was in high demand for his ability to produce both show ring cattle, and cattle that can perform.
Females LOTS24-28
I decided to sell a select group of open heifers all sired by our Peak Dot Franchise 389F bull. I believe all these heifers have the capability to be top producers, and all maintain solid predictable pedigrees. As a group, these heifers are moderate framed, easy doing, docile and functional. Franchise himself had the ability to add performance and muscle to his progeny while securing an attractive eye appealing profile. His bulls have been some of our top sellers in the past few years, and the females are just beginning to make their mark here.
This thick made easy going heifer should turn into a high quality cow. Her dam was purchased through the Brooking Sale, and she has been a stellar producer with her first heifer calf selling at the Rose Bowl Sale at only 6 months old for $8500 to the good folks at Brandy Lane Cattle Co. The maternal side of this family includes many prolific producers that have been past sale highlights for Com As U R at the Brooking Fall Female Sale.
Dam Come As U R Lady 924G
Pollyanna 26K’s dam was purchased from Com As U R as our choice lot, and the high selling heifer in the 2020 sale. The dam is a direct daughter of Natural Law whose progeny are highly sought after for their ability to raise females that are both attractive and highly productive. I have always liked this heifer, and think she will be a valuable addition for her new owner.
Last year one of my top picks in the bull sale was a young bull that we sold to Dusty Rose Cattle Co in Arcola. In my footnotes on that bull I mentioned that he had a very sweet full sister on the ground that I really liked. Perrots Bessie 74K is the heifer I was talking about. She is a very complete, soft made easy fleshing heifer with added eye appeal. If she turns out like her dam, she will be a super functional cow that can raise some very good calves.
BLACKBIRD 101K
Almost a March heifer, and the youngest on offer. This Blackbird cow family originates from one of the first females my Dad ever purchased. They have the ability to produce top progeny, and this heifer is very angular, deep sided, and eye appealing in her make up. A closely related brother was one of our high selling bulls in 2021 to Ramrod Cattle.
Another Blackbird heifer off an old cow here that has served her purpose being both reliable and predictable. We have sold 4 bulls off her through our sales, and each one went to a repeat customer. There is predictability and longevity built into this female.
