Crum has been singing since he was five years old. Growing up in San Diego, Crum was always an entertainer. He attended the San Diego school for the Creative and Performing Arts and fell in love with performing. He was cast in the Broadway show “Wicked” when he was 18 years old and moved to New York City. After years on Broadway, he decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of pop music. All this has led him to “America’s Got Talent!” He dreams of touching people with his music, to make them forget about their problems and get lost in song even for just a moment.

Steve Grand has been writing music since the
age of eleven, and dreaming about recording and performing for as long as he can remember. Yet, only recently, did he decide that he was “ready” to take his shot at building a career as an artist. And was he ever! The release of his first original song and music video, “All-American Boy” on YouTube on July 2, 2013, was an overnight success, accumulating more than 1.5 million views in the first two weeks! The song struck a chord with thousands of people who were deeply moved that Steve had expressed so beautifully their personal story of unrequited longing, through the well-written and relatable country-tinged rock ballad.

A vibrant twist on hiphop, Bounce music is characterized by call and response lyrics over rapid fire beats and booty shaking. Big Freedia has collaborated with both Beyoncé and Sia. The Bounce movement hit the world wide stage via the weekly docu-series on Fuse.
10,000 Maniacs
are one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the last three decades. Together with artists like R.E.M. they defined college rock and created the first wave of alternative rock bands. Most recently, the band release Playing Favorites on Omnivore Records in 2016. PF is a collection of some of the bands favorites, recorded live in Jamestown, NY at the band’s 33 1/3 anniversary celebration.
Retro on Roscoe Ever wish you could go back in time? Well here’s your chance. Those who are looking for a blast from the past don’t need to look further than the 21st annual Retro on Roscoe festival. Three stages will be spread amongst a six-block stretch in Chicago’s Roscoe Village. Live music will play oldies and throwbacks along with popular hits to help festival goers ready to bring back the good old days. The tree-lined streets of Roscoe Village will set the scene for artisans, antique vendors and cool merchants in an offbeat shopping atmosphere. Roscoe Village’s top restaurants will also serve up many much-desired summer treats.

In The Know... on the go... The Bristol Renaissance Faire is open now through Labor Day Monday. Visitors can enjoy fresh wonders throughout the Faire in honor of their 30th Anniversary. Their are sixteen Bristol entertainment stages that feature nonstop music, daring stunts and an eclectic assortment of comedic performers who invite their audiences to become part of the act. Joining Faire favorites, including Dirk and Guido, the comedic sword-fighting duo known as “The Swordsmen,” ropewalker, juggler and foolish mortal MooNiE the Magnif’Cent, Guinness World Recordholding fire whip artist Adam Crack, the Barely Balanced acrobatic comedy troupe, and the Sturdy Beggars Mud Show, are Cirque du Sewer, the trained rat and confused cat show, Jamila Lotus Dance Carnivale, and the crowd-favorite gut-busting antics of the Washing Well Wenches. New shops on the forest-like grounds offers a depth of unique shopping experiences. There are nearly 200 artisans and crafters display wares ranging from stage-combat-approved swords and handmade chain maille to Scottish kilts, handcrafted leather masks, tapestry wall hangings, sterling silver jewelry, rare-edition books, handcaned brooms, bamboo flutes, even Steampunk adornments and even jester socks. Often, patrons have the chance to watch potters, glass blowers, bowyers, blacksmiths and other working artisans creating their wares.

The Great American Lobster Fest is just a few months away, this September 1st, 2nd and 3rd, on Chicago’s Navy Pier for a three-day seafood spectacle (Labor Day Weekend).
