The course is delivered over two years. In Year One you will study for your 90 Credit Diploma, equivalent to one and a half A-Levels, and study units including: • The Business Environment • Business Resources • Introduction to Marketing • Business Communication • Recruitment & Selection in Business • Business Accounting On successful completion of the 90 Credit Diploma, you will progress on to the full Extended Diploma programme, equivalent to three A-Levels and study units including:

Apprenticeship Overview Our Apprenticeship programmes will give you vital hands-on experience, learning from real life situations, with the guidance of industry professionals. You’ll gain the skills and confidence needed to excel in your chosen career. Working in finance gives you a real insight into how an organisation operates and provides the chance to make a real difference to business performance. Students who have secured a position as an accounting apprentice attend College one day per week to complete the AAT Level 2 qualification. The course is a great way to build on your skills and gain a recognised qualification whilst also earning a salary.

What You’ll Learn The AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting is comprised of: • Book-keeping Transactions • Book-keeping Controls • Elements of Costing • Working Effectively in Finance • Using Accounting Software

If necessary, you will also complete Functional Skills Maths and English at Level 2. Most of your qualification will be gained in the workplace, although you will attend sessions in College that will cover essential areas of your training. During your Apprenticeship, you will be taught and supported by experienced accounting tutors. You will also have your own Work Based Tutor who will provide support and guidance during your time in the workplace.

Entry Requirements You’ll need enthusiasm, motivation and a keen interest in your chosen sector. To complete an Apprenticeship you will need an employer who is willing to support you throughout your training. If you have not found one, we can help you with your search. Entry Requirements

Our Apprenticeship programmes will give you vital hands-on experience, learning from real life situations, with the guidance of industry professionals. You’ll gain the skills and confidence needed to excel in your chosen career.

To complete an Apprenticeship you will need an employer who is willing to support you throughout your training. If you have not found one, we can help you with your search.

As a Business Administration Apprentice, your typical day could involve minute-taking, data collation, background research and reception duties – so you would need to have good communication, organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

We’d like to see a proven track record of very good attendance at work/school, along with a good reference from school/a previous employer. We also ask that you have a satisfactory level of English and maths.

Apprenticeship Overview Good customer service is vital to the success of any business as it influences how customers feel about your organisation. This Apprenticeship will come in handy for any industry and is a great way to take the first step towards your future, even if you are unsure of what you want to do. This intermediate level Apprenticeship teaches you to deliver excellent services to the customers in your organisation from the workplace; digitally; or through visiting the customer’s own locality. You will recognise the diverse range of tasks that are involved in a customer service role such as dealing with orders, payments, offering advice, guidance and support, meet-and-greet, sales, fixing problems, after care, service recovery or gaining insight through measuring customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Learn The Level 2 Customer Service qualification consists of: • Understanding the organisation and its customers • Meeting regulations and legislations which affect your business

Apprenticeship Overview Our Apprenticeship programmes will give you vital hands-on experience, learning from real life situations, with the guidance of industry professionals. You’ll gain the skills and confidence needed to excel in your chosen career. If you’re good with numbers and enjoy managing your finances, then an Accounting Apprenticeship could be for you. Training in accountancy would enable you to work across a range of sectors. Depending on what the client needs, you could audit accounts, forecast future profits or calculate tax. Working in finance provides the chance to make a real difference to business performance. The course is a great way to build on your skills and gain a recognised qualification whilst also earning a salary.

This Apprenticeship trains you to become an experienced Paralegal and is a great and exciting gateway into the legal profession. As a Paralegal you will support Lawyers and law firms by managing and maintain data and records, assist with and draft legal documents and forms, carry out research for legal cases, communicate with internal and external clients and assist with the inception, progression and completion of client files. The course is a great way to build on your skills and gain a recognised qualification whilst also earning a salary.

What You’ll Learn You could be working for a legal partnership or a large legal firm but you will be at the forefront of providing legal support to both customers and legal representatives. Typical activities that may be carried out, but are not exclusive to this role include:
