Hello everyone. Wishing all our Advertisers and Readers a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and welcome to yet another Christmas edition of your Gran Alacant Advertiser. Unfortunately it has been another hard year for everyone and can only hope that next year will be brighter for all. It does seem though that Gran Alacant has been looked after better than many urbanisations if reading the newspapers is anything to go by. We have had the new Sports Centre open, a lovely new fountain built, new paving going in, to name but a few improvements to our urbanisation. If you look through the magazine you will find places for Christmas festivities and New Years Parties, also watch out for posters for the Christmas activities arranged by our Santa Pola Town Hall. Hopefully there could be a choir performing Christmas Carols on Gran Alacant during December, we have been working with Loreto and people concerned to try and make this happen, so fingers crossed, watch out for information on that. 1. ¡Que bienvenida más pintoresca! Es una pena que no podamos fotografiar los olores. Esto se encuentra en la parte de atrás del restaurante Gran Mundo y el Supermercado Consum. El Ayuntamiento intenta mantener los contenedores limpios pero su esfuerzo es inútil debido a que los residentes y los propios locales depositan grasa y suciedad en las aceras cercanas a los contenedores.

Estaría de lo más agradecido si pudieran discutir este problema con Loreto, está causando bastante estrés. Gracias de antemano, de mi parte y de parte de muchos amigos y vecinos descontentos.

También, durante los últimos 8 años hemos estado contemplando los terrenos de obras llenos de escombros. No puedo entender porque tiran los escombros justo enfrente de nuestras casas ¿Por qué no pueden dejarlos cerca del Lidl o Consum, usando ese lado del

Todos los que nos visitan nos hacen comentarios sobre estas zonas desaliñadas.

Tenemos fotos del nuevo parque que está haciendo MASA. Las constructoras tienen que proveer de zonas verdes si usan terrenos para la construcción de casas. Tendremos caminos para pasear e ir en bici, la zona incluirá un parque para niños, una zona de deporte, bancos y farolas. El mes que viene tendremos las fotos de la APERTRURA DEL POLIDEPORTIVO, abrió el 27 de Noviembre, cuando nosotros estábamos en la imprenta. Fue un gran evento, empezando a las 9.30am hasta las 8pm con la presencia de asociaciones y escuelas usando las instalaciones. Como hemos dicho, les comentaremos más el mes que viene.

Una iniciativa del Departamento de Transporte, que administra la línea de la compañía SuBus, incluirá durante dos horas al día (los sábados) una parada en el cementerio nuevo, así complaciendo la petición de los ciudadanos de Santa Pola que necesitan un bus público para ir al cementerio, que está alejado de la ciudad.

La ciudad de Santa Pola, a través de la Agencia de Desarrollo Local, ha recibido una subvención de 94,500€ para implementar un Plan de Empleo para los receptores de los subsidios de desempleo, llamado PIE-MOTIVA’T 2011. Estos programas son parte de las promociones de empleo del Departamento de Economía, Finanza y Empleo conjunto con los Fondos Sociales Europeos, promovido en la zona de la Comunidad Valenciana.

Santa Claus y los Reyes Magos llegarán a Gran Alacant el 18 de Diciembre en el Centro Comercial y se harán más actividades navideñas el 3 de Enero en el Life Resort. A Loreto le encantaría tener un coro cantando en alguno de los dos eventos, estamos buscando gente que quiera cantar. Es posible que hayan visto las obras en la marina de Santa Pola. El dinero viene del Gobierno Central de Valencia y de Empresas Privadas. Este dinero fue otorgado antes de la crisis.

Het lijkt mij dat Puerto Marino niet is opgenomen in een van de plannen voor verbeteringen op het gebied Gran Alacant. Een ieder die een bezoek brengt ons commentaar op de "eyesores"

Ook voor de afgelopen acht jaar hebben we gekeken naar een bouwplaats vol

puin en bouwers afval. Ik kan niet begrijpen waarom alles is "gedumpt" in de voorkant van onze huizen, waarom cant het in de buurt worden voorgelegd aan Lidl & Consum kant van het land. Zou het mogelijk zijn om de draad scherm elkaar grijpende verder, zodat het is totaal niets van buiten naar binnen Waarlijk, dit zou een betere indruk van het gebied. Dit onderwerp is opgevoed op bijna alle van de urbanisatie bijeenkomsten - zonder resultaat. trottoirs. Containers worden dagelijks geleegd, zodat ze mag niet meer dan stromen, als ze zijn, rommel naar de volgende beschikbare bak. Denk aan het milieu. Foto's hieronder en ommezijde, tonen de nieuwe park wordt verstrekt door MASA bouwers. Deze parken moeten worden verstrekt door de bouwers als ze over te nemen oppervlakte percelen voor huis gebouw. Pathways zal worden om te wandelen en fietsen en het gebied zal ook een speeltuin en klein sportveld, verlichting en bankjes. Het stadhuis zal niet aftekenen gebied van bouw tenzij dit park land is verstrekt. We zullen volgende maand foto's van de OPENING van het Sportcentrum. Het was te wijten aan worden geopend op 27 november bij ons tijdschrift was bij de printers. Deze programma's maken deel uit van de werk subsidies ter bevordering dat het Ministerie van Economie, FinanciĂŤn en Werkgelegenheid, samen met het Europees Sociaal Fonds, gepromoveerd op het gebied van het autonome gebied Valencia.

De fontein op de rotonde de buurt van de school is nog steeds niet. Het stadhuis heeft een verzekeringsovereenkomst tot eventuele storingen te dekken, en het bedrijf die gebouwd dit zijn plicht om het probleem te herstellen. We hebben gevraagd of het water-systeem werkte voor de bewatering van de nieuwe planten. Loreto belde de betrokkenen om te controleren of alles ok was.

Kerstman en de Drie Koningen zal komen te Gran Alacant op 18 december bij de GA Comercial Centre en nog veel meer kerst-activiteiten zal ook plaatsvinden op 3 januari in de Life Resort.

Loreto zou een koor graag om daar te zijn, zingen Christmas Carols, dus hebben ingeroepen ons om te proberen te voorzien in een voor beide bovenstaande gebeurtenissen. Je hebt misschien gemerkt dat het werk is begonnen op de nieuwe jachthaven van Santa Pola. Geld hiervoor is afkomstig uit Centraal-regering in Valencia en van Private Ondernemingen. Dit geld was al verstrekt voordat de economische crisis getroffen huis.

Vanaf donderdag zal 24 november start de exploitatie van een nieuw call center in het Health Center van Santa Pola, voorbereid op de toekomstige uitbreiding van de kliniek en zal een grotere flexibiliteit voor de opvang en het maken van telefoongesprekken. Er is een verandering in de telefoonnummers, vanaf die datum te worden afspraken 96.691.53.00 en 96.691.53.03 voor noodgevallen.

Jean Reiterbund has spent months making costumes, rehearsing the show and organising the running order on the night. There are of course many helpers involved. Just to let you know that I keep up to date with events in GA each day with websites and your mag each month, even though for my sins I find myself in cold old Aberdeen for the first time in my life for the past four months, but heah it始s work which very important to keep the wolves at bay. My wife is still residing in Don Pueblo, again last night while every one is commenting on how much they enjoyed the storm, which we used to do, but now our great fear is that with each storm our house and under build where we SLEEP when it始s not a stormy night will be flooded. We live opposite Maxcoop on life resort and since the Life resort has been built all the water that used to fall in that area on scrub land is now being collected and put into general drains. These drains just cannot take the deluge of water and us being at lowest point get flooded into our back patio, yes we have spent money to try and stop water entering our under build which till now has been successful, but each year we get all the slurry and filth that is associated with drain over flowing on to our back patio. I have been to se Loreta more than twice she tells me it will cost a lot to sort out and with much disruption to traffic flow in our area, as well as telling me how well the council has solved problems in the Noriavia area but as I said to you and her in previous mail there are no houses for 100 mtrs. My wife has been to local town hall this morning and yes I understand that Loreta is busy young lady, our administrator will try and contact both her and council in next few days, could you please bring this subject up with her at your next meeting. Please tell her she or indeed you self are welcome at our house or my wife can make appointment to see her any time, as this problem is not getting better and now the rains are falling we fear with each storm. Will be meeting with Loreto to discuss this on going problem. (Sandra & Barry)

Yesterday I was at my local Sainsbury's store buying a large bag of Winalot dog food for my loyal pet and was in the checkout queue when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

What did she think I had an elephant? So, since I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Winalot Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn始t, because I ended up in hospital last time, but I'd lost 2 stone before I woke up in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pockets with Winalot nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in queue was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked me if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me? I told her no, I stepped off the kerb to sniff an Irish Setter's bum and a car hit me.

I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard. I'm now banned from Sainsbury's. Better watch what you ask retired people.

These people meet weekly at Las Palmeras in Los Arenales to learn to paint, sketch, draw, and enjoy each others company.
