BONNAROOVIANS!

I

t’s the most wonderful time of the year. No, it’s not holiday season quite yet—though if you are itching for the Christmas spirit, then look no further than our own Snake & Jake’s Christmas Club Barn. Bonnaroo is here and we can’t wait to host you at our 700-acre party. Once again, we are proud to present more than 150 musicians, comedians, filmmakers, artists and activists who will surely make this year’s festival the best Bonnaroo yet. We are particularly excited to welcome back a few old favorites who have grown with our festival over the years and are now among our marquee names, including Mumford & Sons, Deadmau5, Kendrick Lamar, Florence + The Machine, My Morning Jacket, Bassnectar and Alabama Shakes. It doesn’t matter if they made their mark playing banjo, dropping late-night-beats or stirring up soulful, psychedelic music—every one of them has made the pilgrimage to Manchester during the past 14 years and, like you, are now firmly part of our Bonnaroovian community. We are also super excited to bring back one of our heroes, Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters, and to present the Piano Man himself, Billy Joel, for an epic festival-closing set on the What Stage. Of course, a big part of the Bonnaroo experience has always been discovery, and we hope to introduce you to some of your future favorites on the Who Stage. We also invite you to chill out in both our Comedy Theatre and our Bonnaroo Cinema—and not just because they are air-conditioned. Our top-notch comedy lineup includes The Nerdist podcast creator Chris Hardwick and our old pal—and new The Late Late Show musical director—Reggie Watts, the rare entertainer to appear on The Farm as both a comedian and musician. Our Bonnaroo Cinema is back too, featuring a ridiculous mix of films (some of which haven’t even hit theaters yet) and unique performances. Plus, when else can you belt out a version of “The Power of Love” that would make Marty McFly proud before attending your very own Enchantment Under the Sea Dance Party? Even if you made your festival must-see list—and checked it twice—we hope that you’ve saved some time for a few surprises. This year, we are proud to present more interactive experiences than ever, which will not only blur the lines between fans and performers, but also take the party off the stage (and in some cases into the woods). Be sure to stop by The Grove, our own little enchanted forest, or visit Over There for a bit of local “Southern charm.” Speaking of reality TV, we’ve also given our visual mascot, The Fountain, a Bravo-worthy makeover with the help of New York designer Queen Andrea. Bonnaroo has deep New Orleans roots and, this year, we’ll nod to those legendary Mardi Gras parties with a bevy of parades, surprise performances and the one-and-only Christmas Barn Robe Rage. This wouldn’t be our favorite weekend of the year without you, our Bonnaroovian family, and we want to start this party off by thanking y’all for making this weekend possible. Remember to live by the Bonnaroo Code and let the fun begin! Superfly and AC Entertainment
