This is a story about our native animal spirits and their place in the universe.

We must first travel back 200 years. Native Americans believed Mother Moon and Sister Sun were great spirits that used the power of the moon to change the seasons each year. 2
Native Americans believed it took 12 moons to go through the complete cycle of the seasons. The wheel is a symbol of the moons turning as the seasons change. 3
Each moon has its own totems or qualities that are passed on to you when you are born. The day you were born, you became aligned with an animal, gem, plant, color and direction. 4
As we pass through life and walk around the wheel, all of these totem’s (qualities) are there to help us to meet life’s challenges.

One day Mother Moon and Sister Sun moved the waters and the earth, bringing the woodpecker and deer together. 6
Alicia the woodpecker and Todd the deer learned about their own qualities from their Birth Totems.

Mother Moon and Sister Sun watched over Todd and Alicia as they became one in mind, heart and spirit, helping each other to reach their dreams.

With respect and wonder they watched, helped and celebrated. They knew earth could dry Alicia’s tears and water could sooth Todd’s soul.

Mother Moon watched Alicia flitting about giving aid and love to her friends, but not leaving any for herself. Sister Sun warmed the waters to help Alicia heal herself. Sister Sun knew disquiet lay in Todd’s soul. Mother Moon knew just the channel to focus Todd’s compassion as he nurtured Alicia.

Todd and Alicia were united in heart and soul. But Mother Moon and Sister sun knew they would need to learn much about the world and each other before they welcomed a little one into their family.

Belle became a Spirit Guide, helping little ones as they became a part of their new families.

Belle answered the call to be a Spirit Guide for Todd and Alicia. She was ready and able to help.

Years passed as the three became a family. Belle always knew as a spirit guide, she would one day have to leave to guide another family. But for now her duties were here with Todd and Alicia. 15
On February 21st, 2017 Zane was born.
Zane is a wolf. Belle knows what this new little wolf will need.

Mom and Dad look on as their Spirit Guide watches their little wolf.

Belle knows Zane will be sensitive and intuative. So she follows him in the backyard to help keep him from harm. 18
Belle lays outside Zane’s room. She knows Zane must have his space to be alone.

Belle is happy to have guided Alicia, Todd and Zane. Now she is off to help guide another family.
