The outcomes of denominationalism have been devastating to the Lord’s church. The Eastern Orthodox Churches and their early councils are considered first. Decisions of influential leaders at these councils set a floor for heresies, man-made doctrines, and pronouncements by introducing these atrocities as equal bearers of authority to the Holy Scriptures.
