The Soul-Catcher’s Calling by Nigel J. Jamieson, LLD (Otago) The world teeters on the brink of chaos. Neither East nor West can rely on their own resources. The Middle-East is in a ferment. Economies (through over-indulgence) are now stretched to exhaustion. Whole continents and once mighty oceans succumb to global warming. Life or death issues make survival problematic. Refugees have nowhere to go. No nation is free from threat of terrorism. Statesmanship is a lost art, so governments prevaricate. Yet, the Soul-Catcher’s Calling encourages a 20/20 prophetic vision far beyond 2020. About the Author Nigel J. Jamieson, LLD (Otago) has military, scientific, and scholarly backgrounds. As a musician he has broadcast both often as a soloist and from the orchestral platform. He holds degrees from three universities, in philosophy, literature, and law. With more than 200 publications to his credit in more than seven countries, and in several languages, his authorship is already established. After a long and happy marriage, but widowed in later life, he has four children and eight grandchildren. The SoulCatcher’s Calling is the first major book he has pursued to the point of publishing. Armed & Dangerous

by Evangelist Jacqueline Felton The Lord provides a tangible manual or guidebook called The Bible for Born-Again Believers to conduct persuasive spiritual warfare in defeating the enemy. As you read this book, you will learn about spiritual warfare and its origin, the seven parts of the spiritual armour, and how to effectively conduct spiritual warfare. In all these things — battles, tribulations, challenges, stressors, hardships, attacks — through Christ, you are more than a conqueror because of His love (Romans 8:37). It is our God’s desire for His children to live victoriously in every area of their lives.

Creation Lucifer’s Rebellion by Preston Jeremy Cash This is the untold story of Lucifer, once the embodiment of perfection, born of the light and praised by it and yet so sinful and rebellious. It’s the story of one who’s been neglected and forgotten and now seeks to be whole once again with its other. This is a story about a father who is filled with so much shining pride that it blinds him from seeing the darkness-stained truth sitting under his very nose. It’s a story about the first war as well as the first sin, told from the perspectives of those who were there to witness it.

Magnitude Of Whispers by Nita Rathbun As a child, Nita Rathbun was moved from the small dairy farms of Sulfur Springs to Garland, near Dallas, and saw hippies seek wisdom from Ouija boards, swinging pendulums, and crystals. Later with kids, she hungered to remember the voices of comfort she’d heard in her mind and began writing those words. Now, after recording those words for more than 50 years, Nita feels moved to share those communications from a larger consciousness with others, as witness to what she intuitively feels are timeless truths. She hopes that spiritual growth will be stimulated in those who listen with their hearts.

Miracles Allotted to Chris by Christopher Dumais

But it took him years before he realized that Jesus Christ, the greatest light of them all was reaching out to him. As he struggled with addictions he tried to take his life five times in as many days, asking the Lord to save him and keep him from hell. The Lord Jesus heard him all five times allowing him to wake up alive after every attempt. Chris has been sharing his testimony for 34 years.

The First Horse People by Gerald Brefka The Yumnayas were the ancestors to all the first horse people. The Botai were the first horse people. The Sarmatians were the second. Of all these first tribes, they were the most European-looking with blond hair and blue eyes, even though they all had the same root language given by the Yamnayas. The third was probably the Androvo tribe, but would not be heard from in the west until they found the fastest horses in the world in Siberia. The true menace was the fourth tribe, the Scythians, the number 1 competition to the Sarmatians.

When a buzzing bumblebee asks Cody if he would like to change places, the boy has no idea what’s in store. When he closes his eyes and wishes with all of his might, he instantly turns into a fish. Now, living as a small bright yellow fish alone in the big blue sea, Cody is surprised by the huge change of scenery. He meets a mermaid, and they hatch a plan for getting him out of the ocean and safely back home, but not until after meeting an octopus, a whale, a crab, jellyfish, and a lobster named Lucy. Nature all around us has a set pattern to their lives, seeds grow into plants and trees, calves turn into cows and bulls, kittens into cats and so on. But for humans there are many more paths we can take, many outcomes to who we will become as we learn and grow throughout our existence. Some may believe we are closer to finding out what our purpose is, but it may seem we are further from finding out that truth. Throwing us ‘off-key’ from the song of the planet. It could be because we do not know where to begin to find our true song. We jump in head first without answering important questions as we at times try to deny our destiny. Because we don’t take a deeper look into our true selves, we fall prey to social standards and fall into a pattern of our cultural norms. Through the author’s tale, readers are presented with helpful hints on how to find a life filled with happiness and harmony. ~ Pacific Book Review

Set within the beautiful and rugged Australian terrain, McIlroy writes primarily as a keen observer of celestial bodies and the plant and animal life around her. However, her topics can vary from observations made from train windows, recollections of time spent in the company of various women, and assisting a retired geneticist looking for a rare plant among black stones. Christine Bryce’s thoughtful self-improvement book Eyes Wide Open is made up of a series of loosely linked essays about better understandings of reality. Concerned with what makes each person unique, and aimed at helping its audience better understand others, this book seeks to help people who are unable to live their dreams because of their emotional baggage. To do so, it first considers the internal psychological wounds that might hinder a person’s self-awareness and their ability to have a wonderful life. It then switches to considering topics like love, science, and self-fulfillment, and closes with a consideration of how to find the good in oneself, putting aside expert advice and following one’s own heart. ~ Foreword Review

Not living our lives for our heart’s desire.” A series of letters addressed to an invisible muse, this 181-page book contains some 36 letters from Maggie Calahan, a divorced woman who writes her thoughts, desires, recollections, and dreams addressed to a man known only as Julian. Mostly a few pages long, many of the letters concern Maggie’s memories of growing up in California, her subsequent marriage and divorce, and many digressions spanning a myriad of topics. Most concern romance, love, and marriage as well as the opposite side of the balance: being single, free, and independent. Somewhat like a grouping of diary entries, the collection of letters spans five months, from March to August in a single year. Maggie looks at her mother, father, and two siblings from a more adult perspective in these letters. She discusses her hopes, dreams, and disappointments with eloquent and introspective passages that tend to sound a little depressed. ~ The US Review

Despite facing challenges and adversity like her brother getting cancer, Barkley is adamant that it is not the fault of God, and to hold Him culpable would be a shame. Ultimately, through a strong command of poetic devices such as similes, metaphors, and alliteration—though not always exhibiting a consistent rhyme scheme—Barkley’s compilation evokes a trust that Jehovah’s Kingdom can be earned through a discovery of truth and unquestioning surrender to Jehovah in the material life. ~ The US Review

“The human brain is similar to a computer system in the sense that it can be “programmed” to think in a certain way.” Have you ever felt that you wanted to have more control over your life, to conquer that which holds you back? This is what led the author to write this short guide explaining how he gained just that. In the grip of drug addiction, Franza developed techniques that allow him to maintain the hard-earned sobriety he gained. In each beginning chapter, Franza addresses an issue or situation which he views as problematic to him personally or to humanity. Subsequent chapters lay out fifteen techniques the author uses to improve his life, the benefits of following those techniques, and the pitfalls which may occur. In eight chapters, the author uses metaphor to express how she finds spiritual truths in all aspects of life, from contemplating the miraculous movements of animals to working through the depths of depression. She writes with a purpose—to present the reader with the wondrous healing power of God as she has experienced it in her life. Her poetry is personal. She shares her experiences of both despair and joy equally. Dubbs delves into subjects of not only nature but also silence and sound, the struggles of life, the depths and despair of human suffering, and the life of Christ. She credits her ability to create poetry to God, stating, “The Lord calls me his Ready Writer . . . the words he gives me can have the power of boulders or the tenderness of feathers.” ~ The US Review

The current “Teach It, Test It, Forget It” model only teaches students to hate learning because a mess of memorized factoids have little added value or application for them. Eschewing the old system, Ostrom, Hack and Prentice take on the daunting task of rewriting how schools are organized and students taught in their book Listening to Our Students and Transcending K-12 to Save Our Nation. ~ Pacific Book Review
