Foreword

A time of terrible darkness is coming

Our worst nightmare

While on holiday in Tenerife Rose and I just returned to our room after sunning ourselves. As I opened the door I found a note on the floor. Our hearts sank because we knew immediately there was something wrong. The note was from the holiday rep telling us to contact Eileen at her home address urgently. Eileen was our friend whom we asked to keep an eye on our kids and home as well as our married daughter Margaret, who was staying in our home while we were away, she was looking after things for us. Our hearts were so heavy as we went to find a phone. We thought that someone must have died for her to contact us on holiday. When we got through to Eileen we asked what was wrong and Eileen responded that our fourteen-year-old daughter Roisin

Whenever God gives you a warning in prophecy during your prayer meeting. Take heed of that warning, even if everything is going well and the future looks bright. Believe God knows better than you do. Our story will hopefully make you aware that God is with you even through terrible times of darkness, especially when you cant see a reason for what is happening to you. He knows what is happening and has a plan already worked out for your good later on.

Next morning at the airport we went to the check in desk only to find they knew nothing about us, and told us we would have to wait until eight when their office opened. Our flight was at six. We did not know what to do so we phoned Margaret at home. She told us she would go to the travel agency as soon as it opened to find out what went wrong. After checking out of the hotel we then had to go back and see if we could check in again. They understood our dilemma and let us back into the room. We spent the next six or seven hours phoning back and forth trying to get a flight organised and eventually we were informed that another flight going out through Spain to London then Belfast was organised to get us home. Early next morning we again set off for Tenerife airport. After much confusion there we were eventually given flight tickets with just minutes to spare. On board the plane we experienced another problem, no one spoke English so we did not know where we were going and what time we arrived, as the plane was making a few stops on the way and we had to get off the plane then get back on again. It was terrible frightening for us because we were not experienced traveler’s.

Eventually we made it to Belfast airport where Margaret and William met us. Again they reassured us that Roisin was alive and in hospital. We went straight to the hospital as soon as we arrived in Derry our hometown. Roisin was shocked to see us, as she did

had taken an overdose and was in hospital. She informed us things were bad and that a flight had been arranged for us to come home the next morning at 4 am. Eileen reassured us that Roisin was alive, but then said William our son in law was flying over to England to meet us in Birmingham then bring us home to Ireland. When Eileen said this. Fear overcame us, as we believed that William would only come to Birmingham to meet us if Roisin was already dead. Eileen and Margaret tried their best to reassure us that Roisin was alive but we did not believe them. We were in such despair. Here we were miles away from home and having to wait until the next morning before we could get a flight home. We spent the rest of that day and night praying and crying out to God.

not know we had come back early and was very upset. We asked her what happened and why did she overdose and after much talking she eventually said she were abused by a teacher in her school. We were horrified; our little 14-year-old abused! We sat there stunned. We were informed that a child psychiatrist was coming to meet with us and that she wanted to put Roisin into a mental hospital for her own safety, as she was suicidal. We were not aware at that moment that the words we received every week from the Lord about a time of terrible darkness were just beginning.

Before the prophecy came into being

Rose and I were two leaders in our praise and worship group, which was held every week in our home. We had a group of between 30 --50 people coming each week to praise the lord. Our group was getting stronger and stronger in the power of the Lord as God's Holy Spirit taught us how to deal with different things that were relevant in all of our lives. He first taught us one night that we had power over a hurricane that was forecast for Ireland after leaving a wake of destruction and death in America. Some of the new members of the groupexpressed fear when they heard of the hurricane were coming our way. But God spoke to me and said to tell everyone to take authority over the storm and command it not to touch our city. Later that night the hurricane hit Ireland and deaths and destruction followed. In Derry there was only a little wind blowing. After the storm passed there was a local news bulletin saying that the storm caused damage all over Ireland. But that there was a strange thing happened in Derry, there was not even one slate reported falling from a roof, and the news reader said, "it was like there was a big hand over the city stopping the storm from touching us". They tried every way to explain what happened but had no real answers. We of course knew and were amazed.

From there on we believed that we had power as a group of believers, and started to act on this belief. Then the lord at our request showed us how to take authority over the bombs that were planted in our city, and to stop those bombs from exploding killing or doing harm. In prayer the lord explained that the bombs were made up of the elements of the earth and the earth had been given to us to use by him. We were to speak to the elements that made up the bombs to command them to refuse to explode to refuse to detonate to refuse to cause harm to anyone. We did this each week during the meeting, and from that day we first took authority no bomb exploded in Derry. Every bomb attempt failed. The Lord again at our request explained that we had the same power over the murder attempts that were happening because of the terrorist activity in Ireland. We again were to speak to the elements that went into the making of a bullet. Command those elements to refuse to harm or hurt no one and that every murder attempt would fail in Jesus name. To the glory of God no bombs exploded, no murder attempts succeeded from that first day we took authority, until three years later when a cease-fire was deSomeoneclared.

in the group asked if there was anything we could do about the amount of drugs that was now the new threat coming into our city. After seeking the lord's direction we were instructed to tell our guardian angel to go to those who were working to find these dangerous drugs and to tell their guardian angels to tell them the source where the drugs were coming into our city. Inside a few weeks the drugs enforcement officers were making staggering finds. We praised the lord week after week for this wonderful grace he bestowed on us.

From the time that the meeting were first started until it ended with our time of terrible darkness, we experienced God's love and power in many ways. Healing were happening each week as people heard what God was doing and come to receive healing. Unbelievable miracles happened, people rested in the spirit every

night signs and wonders were happening and the most awesome presence of God could be felt, so much so, that at times one could hardly speak, the presence was so overpowering. But all this time we kept receiving the same message over and over from the lord. That a time of terrible darkness was coming on Rose and I.

Roisin needs to go into the mental hospital as she is a danger to herself and there is nowhere in Northern Ireland for young people to go for help except to the local mental hospital, Dr Anne Murray informed us. Rose and I were still reeling from the shock of Roisin's suicide attempt and just nodded when Dr Murray told us this. Later that evening Rose and I took Roisin to admission in the hospital. We were disturbed by the attitude of the Dr and the nursing staff, they ignored us. The Dr who talked to Roisin walked past us ignoring us and left for home without telling us what was going to happen to Roisin. We just sat there in a state of shock; our fourteen-year-old daughter was in a mental hospital. And to us the nurses and Dr looked nutty also. That was the beginning of many a horrible experience within the walls of this mental hospital

We could not understand this because everything was going so fantastic, everything looked so bright we couldn't see where darkness could come from. Just before it happened, the lord spoke to Rose at leaders meeting and said. "People were going to leave the group and we would be shocked by who would go and who would stay." Rose and I discussed what could God mean? Two weeks later two of the other leaders left the group in a fit of anger and caused great hurt and pain, the group was divided over what should be done but remained with us. That is when we decided to take a two-week break and go on a much-needed holiday. Rose and I set off for Tenerife not knowing what was to lie ahead, as God's words of prophecy was just about to start being fulfilled.

Your child is a danger to herself.

Chapter 3

During all this time, Roisin kept trying to harm herself by cutting her body with razor blades and broken glass, and had to be constantly guarded. Even when Roisin was allowed home we had to watch her every movement she was not allowed to go to the toilet or to the bathroom on her own because of the cutting she was doing to herself.

Over the next month details of what happened to Roisin emerged and we were deeply distressed to hear all this. Social services became involved and they made everything worse. They questioned Roisin about what happened and made suggestions to her about possible ways she could have been abused by this man. This went on day after day week after week. We seen Roisin was getting worse in the hospital and asked to bring her home but we were refused. We had no power here; we were at their mercy the state was in charge. There's nothing like stress to cause you to make wrong decisions, and wrong decisions were now starting being made by my family and I in particular. Because I allowed myself to get caught up in my feelings regarding Roisin I stopped hearing from God in prayer. I was unreasonable and difficult I was angry and wanted to hurt this man who abused my child. I was not searching for God any longer, I prayed and praised and kept deciding to forgive this man, even though every feeling of anger was directing my life. I struggled with every emotion within me.

One day as Rose, the rest of our family and I went to see Roisin, we met Dr Murray. She wanted to speak to Rose and I in private. She informed us that she believed that someone else as well as the man who first abused her had been abusing Roisin, and she was in danger from this other man whom Roisin had now revealed as my son in law. We were all in a terrible state of shock. My eldest daughter's husband had been abusing Roisin. Then my daughter's son who was seven at the time claimed his father was abusing him as well. This threw us into a further state of shock. Our family was devastated so much was happening and gaining momentum.

Over the next few months things kept going from bad to worse as Roisin made numerous attempts to harm herself and attempted suicide. She cut her arms legs and wrists with glass and razor blades, everyone was stressed out. The stress level was growing and growing. Our nerves were shattered as story after story of the abuse Roisin suffered, emerged. Then things took another turn for the worst as Social Services revealed that Roisin claimed she was involved in the pedophilia ring in our city. Horrified we remembered children in our city were involved in a pedophile ring years ago when Roisin was just a young child. And some men were in jail for offences against these children. Going to someone I knew who's child had been involved I asked if they knew of Roisin being a part of this ring and the young girl claimed Roisin was indeed involved as she had seen her being taken by these people. On a number of occasions. Our worst fears were realised; stunned I reported to the family what I just heard.

Within a few weeks there was another claim that her eldest brother was also abusing Roisin. Social Services informed us that Roisin was not safe at home where she now was. And that our eldest son would have to leave our home immediately. We were left with the nightmare of having to tell our son he had to get out of our home. In great distress Margaret my daughter Paul my other son, and I went to where our eldest son was staying and delivered him a letter accusing him of abusing his sister. He protested in shock at this allegation and we had to turn our backs on him and leave this with him. We left our son and his girlfriend that night and did not see him again for two years. I could hardly see from crying as I drove us home again. This was a terrible thing we were forced to do by social services.

Chapter 4

Forced to put our eldest son out of our home

Social Services and the police increased pressure on Roisin to reveal the names of these individuals. And a list of these men and women were gathered. The list included a social worker priests and a bishop all from the church where we belonged, as well as lay people. Within the area. We were going out of our heads, this was too much for us to handle, in the meantime almost all of the prayer meeting left and we were left with five people still remaining, five whom we thought would have been the first to leave. The lord's words to Rose had come true. "You will be shocked by who leaves and who stays"

Chapter 5

People named to police and social services

Over a year and a half had gone by and still there was no let up my family were taken in to be questioned by the police as people made statements when they were accused, and we had to respond to those statements. Then a member of the prayer group was named another shattering blow.

Friends of the accused now were threatening us, our home was attacked and windows smashed in, our children were attacked in the discos and street. We took turns staying up at night to keep watch for attacks I slept downstairs on an old army cot. Then Roisin accused our other son in law of abuse. At first we didn’t believe this then later he admitted taking Roisin out the back roads in his van and talking inappropriately to her. Our family was again thrown into a state of further shock as his daughter aged five now also accused her father of abuse. No one can ever imaging the pain and suffering we were going through, there was never a

Even in hospital Roisin still attempted to commit suicide, she cut her wrists and arms and legs. There was never a day when we could say we could relax. We were under pressure from one

A pattern emerges

We began to notice a pattern with Roisin. For about a week or more before another name came out. She would withdraw into herself, and on many an occasion as she lay on her own bed or in the hospital bed we would find her curled up in a ball. She was constantly drugged to keep her under control. During those times she let slip there was more happening to her and said she was being threatened by two of the hospital staff, two nurses a man and a woman. And that there were people sent to the hospital to shut her up as word about the pedophile ring was in the local newspaper. These people were important people in our society and they were doing all they could to silence her. Roisin had to have a guard with her everywhere in the hospital, The nurses were suspended waiting an investigation.

moments rest or peace of mind for us. He was forced to leave his home once again social services forced us to decide that he had to leave or they would take his daughter into care for safety. May God forgive them for the evil they perpetuated during all of this? Every thing with them was a veiled threat making us bend to their will. Our daughter was devastated and shaking uncontrollable she just couldn’t stop. This was her husband the man she loved and she suffered like this for months and still to this day is suffering like all of us the effects of all this.

Up to now we had lost our 1st son in laws then our eldest son then our other son in law. We were told get out of the church by the parish priest, as another accused was the church choirmaster, as well as the priests and bishop being accused this man was accused also. All this time we were reassured by Social Services and the police that it was all true, because they had all these names before, except for immediate family members.

Chapter 6

source or another, as we heard story after story from our grandchildren of the abuse they suffered the horror intensified we were going out of our minds.

My greatest horror

Dr Murray sent for Roisin, Rose and I to come see her, saying Roisin was showing signs of revealing another name. When we got to her office we noticed Roisin looking at me strangely. And saying things to Rose, like would you believe every thing I told you? Come into my office Roisin, said Dr Murray smiling. An hour later Dr Murray emerged unsmiling and approached Rose and I, she told us that she had sent for Roisin's social worker, as Roisin had indicated someone else abusing her. Ten minutes later the social worker arrived. We were informed that Roisin needed to go into hospital again for her own safety, and we were sent home without her. A few hours' later two social workers arrived at our home the top social worker and Roisin's social worker and I just knew as soon as I saw them that there was more terrible news

Mr's Mc Crossan, Roisin had made an accusation against her father, and we need to think about removing the other children from the home to be safe. I was in shock; my daughter was accusing me her own father, of abusing her. My mind just could not take it in, everyone present looked at me, I could hardly speak but managed to say it was not true. But that I would move out into my daughter Margaret' s home as she was here living with us in our home since she and her husband separated through him being Numbaccused.Igathered a few things together including my bible and I put

I also forgave Roisin and them, for all because of what they done to me since Roisin's allegations. I then tried to make peace with God saying "forgive me I just cant go on the pain is so unbearable." As I reached for the tablets the phone rang and a voice I recognised as a friend of mine. Ray Blaney who lived sixty miles away, said "I just rang Rose and she told me what happened, I'm sorry to

One night I had enough and decided to end it all and got all my tablets out and left a note for Rose telling her I was innocent, and loved her and all my children including those who were persecuting me.

in an old notebook I found beside my bible and left. My mind was in a state of confusion, my daughter was saying I raped and abused her for years, since she was a child of four or five. As I walked out of my home Rose said I'll be up later to see you to talk about this. The social workers just glared angrily at me as I walked out. Over the next two weeks in Margaret's home I went through the darkest time of my life. Half of my family believed Roisin's allegations and turned their back on me and phoned me calling me all sorts of foul names, telling me to kill myself as they hated me for what I was supposed to have done. In Margaret's home I was not allowed to have the curtains opened because Rose and Margaret who believed my innocence were terrified that the other members of our family would know I was there and come and attack me as they were threatening to come and do me serious harm. To make matters worse for me they put towels over the curtains to deaden any light shining through, because one of my daughters lived just around the corner from Margaret's home and passed this way every day. They didn’t want her to know I was staying in Margaret's home. I lived in a state of total darkness. One, I was not allowed to have lights on in the house and two I was in the darkest hours of my life this darkness almost caused me to loose my mind. Rose ordered me to go to the doctor for some kind of help because she thought I was loosing my mind. The Doctor put me on nerve tablets and sleeping tablets. Even with this I still couldn’t sleep. I couldn't sleep, I couldn’t eat, and I couldn't go out, I was a prisoner in Margaret's home.

hear all this." He continued to tell me that for a few days now he had this urge to get in touch with me as the Lord gave him a message for me. Now that he called, the message made sense, he didn’t call before that as he thought it didn’t make much sense to him. The message the Lord gave him for me was to read the book of Job. When he said this I cursed and swore at God. Is this the only message God could give me, All I am going through and he says to read the book of Job. After a few minutes rambling on I calmed down and Ray said, "oh he also said to read your notebook that you have with you." No one knew I had this notebook with me and I just realised earlier that day it was there inside my bible. Ray prayed with me over the phone, and afterwards I put the tablets away, the feeling of suicide had left me.

I reached for my bible after Ray phoned and out fell my notebook, Opening it I came across a prophecy that the Lord had continually given us. ’That there was a time of terrible darkness coming. But the father knew about it and was prepared for it and would see us through it, and we were to hang in there with him, and he would get us through it. And when he said enough is enough it would be over’

I had forgotten all about this prophecy. I was shocked to realise that this prophecy given with so many other prophecies over the year had finally come true. But I also realised at that moment! God said he knew about all that would happen to us and he would get us through. My heart lifted and I cried and cried for hours not in despair this time but with relief and joy. God Knew! And here was me thinking he had deserted us and left us at Satan's mercy, and there is no mercy in Satan, as you all know.

Over the next week I read the book of Job asking God to explain this book to me. In it he explained so many things to me and I began to see for myself God's plan in human life, and the book of Job took on a whole new meaning, as I now understood it. From then on things started to change, slowly getting better. Unexpectedly the police arranged a secrete meeting with Rose at her sisters home, asking Rose to come and talk with them. During this

Chapter 7

The phone rang as we were in bed one night, it was Harbiton house the place where Roisin was now living, a place for abused children in another part of our city. Your daughter is in hospital she cut her throat a bit but she's ok, was the words of the social worker. Rose answered, "we are coming to the hospital right now my husband and I." The social worker told Rose, no you are not to come to the hospital because your husband is banned from seeing Roisin, Under no circumstances are you to arrive at this hospital because you wont get in, the police will stop you.

A few months later, another prophecy that the Lord gave me would come true. He told me when I hear the words enough is enough then it is all over.

We were not to know that Roisin had been calling for her mother and she had in fact cut her throat twice and was in a serious condition having just missed he jugular vein by a millimetre. The social workers lied once more to us and wouldn’t allow us to come to the hospital and lied to Roisin also saying, we wouldn’t come to see her. Next morning Rose phoned the hospital only to be informed that Roisin was taken to intensive care in Gransha hospital.

meeting the police revealed to Rose that they did not believe that I was in any way guilty of any abuse towards Roisin, and that she should arrange for me to come home again. Rose was, to say the least shocked at this disclosure by the police. A few days later I went from Margaret's house to Rose's father's home in the same street as our home. Rose was still afraid of our family who still believed I was guilty and they caused her great distress, but she wanted me to be nearer her. After a week in Rose's fathers home I eventually came back home. It was such a relief to walk down my own steps without being afraid.

Roisin cuts her throat in a suicide attempt

Shortly after that Rose came out and coming over to me said. It's all over Roisin told them it was not true about you and our son and sons in law. The social workers were so angry and tried to stop her saying this but the new psychiatrist wouldn’t allow them to shut Roisin up. He encouraged her to tell the truth, and she did. The next thing our grand children started telling the police that they were not telling the truth about their fathers or anyone else they accused. And the police dropped the case. Later the police confided to us that they didn’t believe anything happened to the children but that it was the social workers putting words into fragile minds brought all this about.

The very place where two nurses were suspended from duty following Roisin's allegations of them threatening her But this time she was in a secure unit with two nurses watching her all the time. The nursing staff was afraid of being accused of anything and would only take care of her two at a time. All the time Roisin was in Harbiton house Rose visited her but was never allowed to talk with Roisin alone she was always supervised. The same was happening in Gransha hospital Rose was never allowed to talk with Roisin alone. During these times I had to stay in the car outside the hospital, as I was not allowed anywhere near the hospital or Roisin. This was also another stressful time for us. I used to walk the hospital grounds praying for Roisin and Rosewhilst Rose visited.

There is a meeting with everyone, all different social workers taking place with Roisin's new psychiatrist concerning Roisin in the hospital on Saturday. Rose was informed. You may attend if you wish. On Saturday I drove Rose to the hospital and as she went inside I went off to pray. As I walked around the hospital grounds I hear these words spoken by God to me "enough is enough" I stopped dead in my tracks raised my hands in the air and praised God. Just minutes before I said " Lord I am not walking these grounds any more like some criminal, from now on I won't walk these grounds until everything is over." That’s when I heard the Lord say enough is enough, and wondered what he meant.

At this time we received a lot of help from a group called the British False memory Society in England, these people were a tremendous help to us telling us our legal rights and pointing us in the right directions.

Roisin is still attending her Psychiatrist, three years on. We sent letters to everyone who were accused asking for forgiveness for all that they had gone through, and thankfully most forgave us. Police and social workers, I put these people through a terrible time, and I'm sure like us it will be a long time before they're over this.

Everyone's name cleared

The church refused to forgive us and so six years later we still have no church we can go to. Rose is still unwell and has not been out of our home for almost three years. I suffered a heart attack on Good Friday three years ago and had to have three stints inserted into my arteries, it was brought on by all the stress I had gone through. My family still, has difficult times with what happened and it was almost a year after it was over and everyone's name cleared that our son came back to our home. He is on medication as all our family is. You may ask why did God allow this to happen to us? Well I don’t know but I do know that I am a better person from it.

Chapter 8

Over the next few months Roisin became well again and she cleared everyone of the allegations saying it was all in her mind but it seemed real to her at the time. The members of our family who believed Roisin tried to get her to say it was still real but she wouldn’t and it took them a long time to come to terms that it all was untrue.

Just because we don’t know what's happening

2-Corinthians 4-8 We are pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed and broken. We are perplexed because we don’t understand why things happen as they do, but we don’t give up and quit. We are hunted down but God never abandons us

We were perplexed, we were distressed, and we were having our fill of troubles. But God kept true to his word - he never abandons us. Even though there were times I cursed and swore at him for allowing this to happen, in the next breath I praised him anyway. Those were my main word, "praise you anyway Lord." The only understanding I have at this minute of writing this as to why this happened was because Satan was determined to stop us.

Chapter 9

I do know Satan tried to destroy us, he was the one who caused all this to happen he used our grandchildren and our own daughter against us to stop the work we were doing for the lord. He used all his demonic power to try and destroy us and he almost succeeded but God stopped him in his tracks. We now know we have more power over Satan that we did before all this, because we know nothing he will do to us, can succeed. We know God is for us not against us and nothing will ever shake that sureness from us. We have learned that God turns everything to good for those who love him. And that means "EVERYTHING"

We had learned as a group how to destroy his plans and there was no way he was just going to sit back and let us continue. He used vulnerable children to stop us, he used every demonic power he had at his disposal to influence their minds and the minds of social services and the police.

God allowed him to do this for whatever his reasons are and we know that somewhere down the line God will use what we went through to help others who were hurt in the same way. I wrote my little book "God where the hell are you?" just after I came home again, and I wrote 18 other little books shortly after that. Even in the midst of hell itself, The Lord was inspiring me to write from my heart what I have learned about him and his word. My books are not large books because the lord knows most people tire from too much reading and don’t take in the main message so he tells me to keep them short and to the point. You won't find fancy words in my books because I don’t know any fancy words, but you will find my heart here in them, I write as I speak.

I have added this part to the original book. Since all this happened. I have learned that nothing we do for the lord is ever wasted. And that the lord turns to good EVERYTHING {and I mean EVERYTHING} that happens to us if we give it to him. It may not happen immediately but it will be turned to good in the lords time. Roisin has made a full recovery, she moved to Turkey for a few years and married a lovely Turkish man and has a beautiful daughter Emine {pronounced em -in-ney} She is back living in Ireland her husband is working and so also is she part Itime.have written 46 little books and 10 of them children’s books with a Christian message in them. Rose and I have been to Turkey

From my heart to you

I write from my heart now to you. If you are going through a time of terrible darkness, be assured that God knows all about it and is prepared for it just as he was prepared for our nightmare. He will never abandon you. He will be there helping you giving you strength to carry on. If you have benefited from this little book in any way, then what we suffered as a family was well worth it, and we would be delighted to hear from you. Our purpose in life is to glorify God, may this little book bring him glory and you the reader help.

many times and we have another daughter Brenda living in Turkey, who originally went to Turkey with Roisin to Manage a bar for an Irish millionare. Brenda is getting married to Musti on February 05. Brenda is a successful real Estate agent in Turkey. In Turkey Rose and I have ministered to Turkish Muslims and the lord healed them.
