Invisible burdens that we carry
We don’t need to carry these invisible burdens any more; read and see the answer you need to be free from the invisible burdens
We don’t need to carry these invisible burdens any more; read and see the answer you need to be free from the invisible burdens
Burdens weigh us down and many a poor being has suffered under these invisible burdens, some so severe they take their own lives unnecessary , never realising that there is someone who can remove these invisible burdens from them, and that person is Jesus Christ, the Son of God and friend and brother to them.
Many poor beings do not realise that Jesus went to the cross on Calvary to pay for their sins, their guilt and their remorse. People know that Jesus died on Calvary, most have seen the movies and the most famous of them all was Mel Gibson’s the “Passion of the Christ.” They seen how Jesus suffered in the garden of Gethsemane and seen the reality of the flesh being torn off of Jesus body by that whip called the ‘cat of nine tails.’ They seen Jesus, forced to carry his cross to be hung upon on Calvary, and they watched him suffer a slow suffocation and eventually die there on that cross, but they never realised that it was because of their sins that Jesus went through all this agony. They don’t know it was because of their guilt that he bore every terrible pain. They didn’t know that it was because of their remorse that he suffocated slowly and died, that part was not explained to well in the movies.
John -19-1- 1SO THEN Pilate took Jesus and scourged (flogged, whipped) Him.2And the soldiers, having twisted together a crown of thorns, put it on His head, and threw a purple cloak around Him.3And they kept coming to Him and saying, Hail, King of the Jews! [Good health to you! Peace to you! Long life to you King of the Jews!] And they struck Him with the palms of their hands. {Amplified Bible}
When Jesus was being scourged at the pillar he was paying for the sins of the world, his blood was being shed out for sinners.
Romans 3-26-for everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24 Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. 25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, 26 for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus. {NLT Bible}
Jesus took the burden of the invisible sins that we carry with us everywhere we go. On that cross and at that pillar he was made a scapegoat, a sacrifice for our sins, God and Jesus decided to put Jesus to death as a human being the very same as us to take the punishment for mankind’s sins and those includes yours.
Did you know that the only other sin, apart from blasphemy against the Holy Spirit that you could commit that can’t be forgiven is the sin of refusing forgiveness? You are the only person that can keep you out of heaven and only you can send yourself to hell. Did you know that God did not condemn you to hell because of sins, but that you send yourself there by refusing his forgiveness and his great sacrifice of his only Son? The devil can’t bring you down to hell with him, {he would be delighted to have you join him of course} but he cannot make you come to hell with him, only you can do that, and that is by refusing to accept the free gift of salvation, {getting into heaven, that is what salvation means} Many of you that read my little books don’t understand the fullness of salvation and know the free gift it is. Many think they have to earn it, and you cannot earn it, you can do nothing to get into heaven by what you do. Heaven is a free gift that is given to all who wish to go there, and that way is made easy by Jesus Christ the only Son of God who paid for our sins. And there is you going around with a great big burden of sins that no one but you know about.
Romans-4-5-being saved is a gift; if a person could earn it by being good it would not be free – but it is! It is given to those who do not work for it; For God declares sinners to be good in his sight if they have faith in Christ who saves them from God’s wrath. {The living bible}
You can’t pay for a gift someone gives you; if a friend gave you a gift or a thousand pounds how can you pay for that gift. A gift is a free will donation and no amount of money can pay for a free gift, it’s simply that- “free!” You have been given a free gift of forgiveness by Jesus, and all you have to do is accept that free gift for all your sins to be wiped out, and that invisible burden lifts.
Romans 3-27-So, do we have anything to brag about? Bragging has been eliminated. On what basis was it eliminated? on the basis of our own efforts? No, indeed! Rather, it is eliminated on the basis of faith. 28We conclude that a person has God’s approval because of faith, not because of his own efforts. {God’s word bible}
There is no sin that you could ever commit that hasn’t been already committed by others throughout the world and throughout history, and every one of those sins no matter how disgusting they were or are, have been forgiven by Jesus. You’re not the only one who sins everyone sins as God says in the bible.
Romans 3-23- for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. {NIV Bible}
This is the same verse but a different translation.
Getting rid of the invisible burden of sin You can right now get rid of that invisible burden of sin, simply by saying, “Jesus I accept your forgiveness for me, and I ask you into my heart to live in me forever, I am sorry for my sins, amen.”
The moment you do this every sin that you have committed or ever will commit is forgiven, of course you will sin again, and will do so like everyone else in the world, because there is a devil that is determined to destroy you and have you bring yourself down to the torment of hell with him, so be assured that you will sin again, but you been forgiven, and you simply say again and again, “Jesus I am sorry forgive me and then accept his forgiveness by saying I forgive myself also.”
And now the invisible burden of sin has been removed, you stand before God pure and clean white as snow.
Acceptance of forgiveness brings with it healing and freedom from the next burden you probably carry, the invisible burden of guilt.
We all carried the burden of guilt with us at one time or another and some people are burdened down continually with guilt that they have a mental breakdown or some sadly commit suicide. There is no need to go to such desperate means. Sad to say some people carry around with them guilt through no fault of their own, they carry the guilt put on them by others, blaming them for something they themselves have done to you. This is called unreal guilt, and happen when someone does something to you probably as a child or growing up, like abuse then blame you for, making them do what they done. Or someone rapes you and they say that dress that you wore turned me on it’s your fault, or words to that effect.
Anyone reading this knows when someone told you it was your entire fault that they did what they did to you, it’s called shifting the blame “transference” of guilt. They’re guilty, but they somehow or other they have that guilt transferred on to you and you accept and believe that lie, and suffer from that unreal guilt for years and years.
On the other hand you yourself could have done something that you are ashamed off and then you carry around with you this guilt, and of course Satan replays that sin in your mind over and over again, until it becomes too unbearable and some commit suicide because of it. You know the things that have you feeling guilty and you feel like the dirtiest person around, that no one would want you around if they knew the kind of you. Well Jesus knows the kind of you, and he went to the cross on Calvary to take away that sin / sins from you and relieve you from that guilt. Satan of course will tell you that you can’t be forgiven, and that a dirty great lie. Jesus has already forgiven you 2010 years ago, when he died for you. Not only did he die for you he also took upon himself all your guilt, yes that guilt that you’re feeling right now as you read this, has all been taken off of you when he suffered and died for you.
Romans -3-23- yes all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious ideal; yet now God declares us not guilty of offending him if we trust in Christ Jesus who in his kindness freely takes away our sins. {The Way Bible}
This is my favourite bible, as its translation is so clear.
If someone tells you that they forgive you and they don’t have any offence at what you done to them because they loved you just as you are, isn’t that the greatest removal of the feeling of guilt.
I will say this in a plain a language that I can express. God doesn’t give a shit about your sins or guilt, he has already forgiven you, before you committed whatever perverted act, he knew you would do it and he chose to love you anyway. God is not stupid, he knows everything about us, he knows what you’re going to say before you even say it and he knows what you’re going to do before you do it. Because he says in his word in;
Ephesians 1-4- long ago, even before he made the world, God chose you {us} to be his very own through what Christ Jesus would do for us; he decided then to make you {and me} holy in his eyes, without a single fault.-----5 all because he wanted to.
This scripture has changed my thinking about God and judgment and condemnation, to realise that before he even made this earth he decided to make me, knowing everything about me, the sins I would commit and the guilt I would feel because of those sins real or unreal, and still he went ahead and caused me to be born on the 12-06-1947 to my parents. He knew the environment that I was going to grow up in, he knew that I would be paralysed three times and that I would become a terrorist for a while, he knew that I would repent from the wrongs that I have done and he knew that I would love him with every breath that I take, and he knew that one day I would work for him bringing healing to many, as he touches them in the same he touched me.
I have learned that Guilt comes from our conscience and that the spirit of God within us would bring us to repentance, and that guilt is not something bad, it is created to bring us to repentance and to come closer to our heavenly Father, so guilt is really a means of bringing us closer to God seeking to have it removed as only God can remove it from us. Romans -3-23yes all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious ideal; yet now God declares us not guilty of offending him. This is how our guilt is removed by coming to Jesus confessing that you done some terrible things or confessing that someone else did terrible things to you and now ask him to remove it from you by the power of his word.
Accept his mercy and understanding and now forgive yourself and tell the devil, “No more devil will I take your guilt real or unreal, Jesus has set me free because I know that he chose me from before he made the world and that I am special to him. I am a son / daughter of God and he says I am holy without a single fault in his eyes. And the invisible burden of guilt is gone, refuse to accept it if the devil tries to come back with the memories of things in the past
Philippians 3-13-13 Brothers and sisters, I know that I have not yet reached that goal, but there is one thing I always do. Forgetting the past and straining toward what is ahead.14 I keep trying to reach the goal and get the prize for which God called me through Christ to the life above.
God says forget the past it is exactly that past gone forever and no amount of guilt will ever bring it back, obey God and forget about it, you are a new person if you have given your life to Jesus. The old you is gone forever.
Remorse is like guilt except that is regret; I wish I never did this or that! There is nothing that you can do to change the past; all you can do is strive forward to be a better person trying to live like God wants you to. There is no point in saying I wish I never done it; I wish I never saw him or her. I wish I never stole that money, the past cannot be changed, only you can be changed by the past, you can learn from your mistakes and change and become a better person with the grace of God; you won’t do it on your own. I wish that I had gone to see my father before he died, or my mother or brother or sister or loved one, it can’t be changed and remorse will bring you down with it. It belongs to the guilt family, and guilt is depressing enough. Understanding that there is nothing that you can do to change the past you can only turn to the lord and ask him to take from the past and turn it to good. Because scripture says God will turn to good everything for those who love him.
Romans-8-28- 28 We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him.[e]They are the people he called, because that was his plan. 29 God knew them before he made the world, and he chose them to be like his Son so that Jesus would be the firstborn[f] of many brothers and sisters. 30 God planned for them to be like his Son; and those he planned to be like his Son, he also called; and those he called, he also made right with him; and those he made right, he also glorified.
You see God turns everything wrong that you done and everything that you regret to good if you give it to him sincerely.
God used my bad past to help me reach others like me who done the things that I done and they knew there was no judging them because I also did what they did.
As a former terrorist he used me to pray healing to policemen and soldiers. And to fellow terrorists in prison meetings where no one could contradict me saying how would I know what it was like to suffer what they suffered from the hands of the security forces. He used the sins of my past to bring healing to others caught up in the same sins by showing them the way out that he showed me.
Your life can be turned around right now if you just turn to Jesus and ask him to take the bad things that happened to you and turn them for his glory later on and for your good also, and he will; I know I am living proof. Then after asking just let them go with Jesus and don’t worry he will use them years later when you are in the position that he wants you in he will use you in these areas of healing, and he won’t be up casting your sins; but he will bring healing to those who have been caught in the same trap that you were to sin. Amen
