The messages from God are not always popular
1-Corinthians 2-6-10- we of course, have plenty of wisdom to pass on to you once you get your feet on firm spiritual ground, “but it's not popular wisdom,” the fashionable wisdom of high-priced experts that will be out-of-date in a year or so. God's wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes. You don't find it lying around on the surface. It's not the latest message, but more like the oldest—what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, “long before we ever arrived” “on the scene.” The experts of our day haven't a clue about what this eternal plan is. If they had, they wouldn't have killed the Master of the God-designed life on a cross. That's why we have this Scripture text: No one's ever seen or heard anything like this. Never so much as imagined anything quite like it what God has arranged for those who love him. {The Message Bible}
Just because God does amazing awesome things for us does not always mean that people will accept that message, even though they can see for themselves what the word of God says. The wisdom of laying hands on the sick; wisdom is the ability to know something is right, and is God’s ultimate plan for his church, his body and healing is the wisdom of God knowing that this is desired by God for the believers, but like this scripture says not everyone will accept the message of healing, and some come against it vigorously. Some examples, for the wisdom of God desires people to be healed and restored and heal the broken hearted. Wisdom knows the word of God says to go preach the gospel lay hands on the sick and heal them, and then go and do what wisdom says. Wisdom is the spirit of God it is one of his attributes, it is his nature.
I have experienced religious leaders come against the word of God reference healing, and strongly oppose it. I have people try and stop me from laying hands on sick people even when they seen that sick person being healed. One such case was; I prayed with a man in a wheelchair who had a stroke fourteen years ago and when I went to pray with him at his and his wife’s request, I was strongly opposed by the leader of the prayer meeting I attended, he forbid me to go and pray with this man whom I found out later was his friend for years. I refused because it was outside of the prayer meeting and I was free to pray with whom I liked, as long as it wasn’t in the prayer meeting room. Wisdom told me don’t try and arrange for the man to come to the prayer meeting, so all could pray for his healing along with me. I prayed with the man who was paralysed all over and was literally dying, and the lord began healing him over a period of weeks, {this was when I knew literally nothing about healing} eventually theman walked into theprayermeeting climbed thetwo flights of stairs and entered the prayer meeting room. I arrived shortly after he did, only to be greeted by the leader of the prayer meeting with his arms folded across his chest, his face purple with anger and he stopped me as I got to the top of the stairs. He told me that God would never use me for healing and that no one would be healed through me, Just at that the room door swung open and I saw the man that I had been praying with sitting smiling and he waved to me and indicate with his fingers that he had walked just like he said he would to the meeting, to give God the glory, then the door swung back closed. The prayer meeting leader ranted and raved angrily at me

and finally I told him to ****off and entered the room where the man I prayed with rose and greeted me and hugged me.
On many an occasion when the spirit of God was healing through me, this man and other leaders there tried to stop me at every occasion, even when the priest in charge had me pray with people in the prayer meeting. And on another occasion I was ministering to a woman blind in her right eye and as I prayed with her she squealed out aloud that she could see; this leader came charging over, shoved me aside and began praying with the woman, who went blind again. She was angry at him because he robbed her of her sight. Even religious leaders or pastors or priests resist the working of God’s word in the area of healing and miracles, its like they have a venom rise in them, where they will do everything to stop God being glorified, maybe it’s because the healings were not happening through them and they were jealous, I don’t know.
I preached recently to a group of thirty people, telling them that God had made them worthy, because every single one of them put their hand up when I asked if they believed they were unworthy, as I taught them from the word what God had done for them through Jesus, Jesus healed two men from arthritis in their knees, they got up when I requested them and walked to see if they had any pain, or stiffness and both were healed. {Jesus confirming his word, to go into the world, and preach the good news and heal the sick and he would accompany those who do, and so he healed those two men to start with.} Then he healed another two women with fluid in their lungs and arthritis, and fluid in the hands stomach and feet, as I preached on with his word, confirming his message was from him. Both women were sitting together and both had the same ailments. Two women objected to my teaching that they were worthy, one going so far as to say, that she had to go outside to talk with God as she and God did not agree with what I preached from his word. She failed to test the spirit as scripture says, and the spirit of God was obviously evident in the healings of those four people, and I had never even touched them until afterwards. These two women had not been invited to the meeting apparently as they are always controversial so I was informed later on. Even though they could see that it was God healing as I had not touched anyone at this stage, they were so blinded by their feelings of being unworthy they tried to stop those who had come for healing receiving their healing, I let them talk awhile as the lord told me to keep silent for a few minutes, the people in the room where they were got annoyed and I could sense the Holy Spirit lift off that room, { the room of the house was divided in two by two doors} when I stepped into the living room half, the Spirit of God was evident by the peace that filled the room and some people were resting in the spirit. I dismissed the two women by turning my back on them and saying, “I was having a prayer meeting in the living room half,” and the power of the lord for healing fell on me and I began praying with people and the lord healed every single one of them from multiple illnesses each had. One woman had four discs out in her back, sciatica in her right leg, and a ruptured muscle in her left shoulder, she had an epidural done on her back and the pain in this was very severe, and the lord directed me to put my hand on the exact spot where the needle had been and she told me this and as she spoke she was healed from all her ailments.
And the lord continued healing until three thirty in the morning. The last two people to leave were the two ladies who opposed me and both said they had left it too late for prayer, and one thanked me for praying for her brother who was in a coma a few days before and had asked
me to pray for him over the phone via a friend, the lord woke him next morning and he threw his arms around him mum and then ate some yogurt, he had lost over four stone whilst in the coma. Yet this was the woman who opposed me so angrily. I find it amazing who opposes God’s word, and his word will always be opposed by Satan using People. God’s word is not popular no matter what you may think. Wisdom told me to be silent and let these two women rant on, and people would get fed up with them, so I stood there and was quiet except when asked a question which I briefly answered. People got fed up with them and switched them off, because they had come for healing and seen people healed even before I prayed with others.

On another occasion I was praying with people at a retreat centre. For 24 years previously I was encouraged to pray with people including some of the leaders during those twenty four years, by the leaders and by the priest in charge.
On this occasion as I entered the convent grounds I immediately sensed a greater anointing on me that I had previously experienced, and at lunch time people as usual came over to me and asked for prayer for healing because so and so told them I have the gift of healing, {every baptised in the Holy Spirit Christian has the same gift} and I prayed with them in the gardens of the retreat centre and in the conference hall as I had been encouraged to do so many times before by the priest in charge, and by certain leaders. Everyone I prayed with were healed, and on the last day, some men came to collect their wives and watched as I prayed outside with people in crutches and in pain and as I prayed the Lord healed according to his word as I shared with them the word of God.
One by one these men who were standing around outside watching approached me as I finished praying with someone; they told me they did not believe in all this Jesus stuff, and didn’t believe in healing but could not deny that they witnessed people being healed in front of them, and asked would it be possible for them to get healed. Everyone of them got healed, saved and baptised in the holy spirit and spoke in tongues, their wives later came to me and asked what happened to their unbelieving aggressive anti Jesus men, they heard them speaking in tongues praising God and showing others their healings. Praising God at the top of their voices showing people what they could now do since Jesus healed them.
A week later I got a rather nasty letter, saying I was not to come back again unless I prayed with no one, stayed under the leader’s authority, and didn’t talk to anyone, just litterly become a dummy. What they didn’t know was I had asked the priest previously for his authority {as I believe that you have to subject yourself to whatever leaders were there,} if it was ok to pray with people as usual, and he answered, “He had no problem with that,” and then said, well, “at least I don’t.” Wisdom stopped me and had me go back and ask this priest if it was ok to pray with people, before I continued to minister to others outside. They told me in the letter that healing was restricted to the priest only, who during the weekend never prayed with anyone for healing as far as I was aware, {my friend attended all the talks,} I couldn’t because there were so many asking for healing, and I prayed with them all and he told me there was no one praying for healing.
At first I got angry and was going to answer them saying that they had no problems with me praying with people outside and inside the convent and during sessions as I had always been encouraged to keep praying every chance I got, by this priest.
And on one such occasion I and another leader sat for the full weekend praying and talking with an ex policeman who was going to go home and get a gun and shoot the leaders because they wouldn’t let him share his testimony, and they were quite right not to allow him to share. This man was deadly serious and seriously disturbed, and both the leader and I never got to even one session because we ministered to this man praying asking God to heal him. He never went home to get his gun, and he and I became good friends over the years. Then I realised they done the same things to Jesus, so I was not too bad, if it was good enough for him it was good enough for me.
I found out one new leader caused all the problems, and of course I forgave her. Even though they had reports of people getting saved, baptised in the spirit, speaking in tongues and healed, they still got angry because it was me doing the praying; they never offered healing prayer on this particular weekend.
They forgot I could never heal a pair of shoes never mind heal someone, but Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit inside of me can heal everyone. They were opposing God not me, I was only a willing tool in his hands.
When someone opposes healing or deliverance or any of the gifts of the spirit that are evident in someone, and that it is the spirit of God moving and not some man or woman, they are litterly opposing God, they come against his spirit, they come against Jesus. When the church refuses to have a healing service, because they don’t have the gifts showing in their lives, and there are people there in church that have and are willing to pray with the sick, they are opposing God through jealousy. It’s not a popular wisdom to follow; it means dying to yourself for the sake of the body of Christ Jesus, it means laying down your life for another, and in this case your jealous life or envious life. They wont have any healing service in this church unless I am doing it, is their thinking, and that is pride. Jesus himself said to go and preach the Good News and I will accompany you as you lay hands on the sick “I” NOT YOU, but “I” Jesus will heal them. The works of God are not popular like the scripture below says; we have wisdom to pass on but its not popular wisdom, because it does not comply with human understanding. It follows love, and love heals sets free the captive and comforts the broken heart.

I write this booklet to encourage those who desire to be in a healing ministry. Not to give up when leaders and pastors and vicars and priests and whoever is in charge tries to discourage you and tries to get you to back off. They are doing the devil’s work, whether they believe this or not; Jesus “encouraged” the believers to lay hands on the sick to heal them and deliver them, he never discouraged anyone from praying for the sick, in fact when the Apostles came back from out preaching and healing they said they come across a man who was casting out sickness and demons in the name of Jesus, and they tried to stop him, and Jesus rebuked them, Saying, “anyone who is for me is not against me.”
I often wonder if they went back to that man and apologised and encouraged him to keep it up as he had Jesus approval, probably not.
Doing things for Jesus in never popular; “except” for those needing healing, deliverance, salvation, and comfort for their broken heart, these are the real people in the church; these are the ones that Jesus is reaching out to. The spiritual leaders are so engrossed in their power games they don’t have time for the real ministry, now “I am not talking about all spiritual leaders” there are many who do what the gospel tells us, but in the main there are more against what Jesus is doing through others, than what he is trying to do in them, their pride has gotten in the way. Remember Lucifer God’s greatest angel, his pride brought about his downfall.
Refusing to help the body to grow in strength they try to make the church grow in numbers by inserting programs where they control the spiritual side of things, and they put people into those roles like themselves that are spiritually dull, and they keep a tight reign on anyone different.
These people will have to give an account to Jesus for their action someday.

In this scripture God determined to bring out the best in us, long before we ever arrived on this planet. But others don’t like what God is doing, and oppose God by opposing those God uses. As the previous scripture says, the experts of our day, that’s now, today; haven’t a clue what this eternal plan is, so it becomes unpopular. In churches I see very little encouragement to help people grow in the spiritual gifts, and they’re even sometimes hostile to those who have such gifts showing. Maybe it’s because they don’t understand how a gift works, and so cannot help someone develop their gift, and because they don’t know about using the gifts, they know about them, but don’t have them, so don’t litterly understand how to help others so they try and stop those using them. Or maybe they’re just jealous
Scripture says this is how we will know if a message is from God or not, the world will refuse to listen to it.
Wisdom is in knowing what to do and doing it even if it is unpopular; it is more pleasing to God to obey his word than it is to please man.
Love is the deciding factor in doing things for God, if we follow love we will never stray far away. Love leads us to heal the sick and broken hearted, to deliver those oppressed by Satan; to set the captives free, from all their bondage there in. Love is wisdom in action, love is the character and makeup of our God for scripture says, God is love; so if we have the wisdom to follow love then we will be following God, the God of love and compassion.
Love drives us on to pray for healing the sick to have empathy with those in pain and suffering who have nowhere to turn to for help, and the wisdom of love caresses those in agony and suffering, relieving them of their afflictions.
God's wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes. But praise God he has now revealed his nature and purposes to us and not only has he revealed it but has given his nature to us, now the wisdom of God is in us forever, and we can reach into our spirit and draw forth that wisdom when we need it. 1-Corinthians 1-7- and now you have every grace and blessing every gift and power is yours during this time of waiting on the lord Jesus Christ.
