I wish to share my gratitude to the owners of the Foot Inn Burnfoot, and wish them every blessing in their lives, for these lovely people asked us to come to their bar to have healing services there, and they never charged us a single cent. During our time there we witnessed God healing hundreds and seen him healing many incurable diseases including cancer, Parkinson’s disease and many, many more, I would love to be able to share all those wonderful miraculous healings but one book would never be able to hold them in it.}

I also wish to thank the owners of the Bogside Inn Derry for allowing us to have healing services in their upstairs lounge and though the meetings started small, ten people came the first night, and the lord healed them all, then the next night twenty turned up, and again the Lord healed all twenty, the third night two hundred turned up and God healed the biggest majority of them. I video all services for one reason, security, and for another to catch the lord healing people, that night our camera man counter one hundred and fifty four who testified they were healed and no pain, the rest of the people were cancer patients, and the majority of them said they felt something, but they would have to wait for a few months before their doctors can verify their healing. I knew on one man who died later than he was supposed to, but apparently he done his bucket list; so God gave him what he desired most.

Not everyone is healed at a healing service, but the biggest amount are healed; Only God knows the reason people don’t receive healing, some like the lady who wanted to shoot Jesus held Unforgiveness against others and some just refuse to believe.

Prologue

The miracles I have seen performed through me are not of my doing, but God the fathers doing, as these things were planned by him millions of years ago. ‘He’ decided, that on a particular day in my lifetime he would perform a certain miracle through me, for the benefit of one of his children needing his help, and I was fortunate to be the one chosen to be the source of his power and authority.

There is not one healing or miracle that I could proudly proclaim as of my doing. Every miracle performed is by the ‘’Name of Jesus’’ and ordained by the power of the ‘’Holy Spirit.’’

Did you know the even Jesus could not work a miracle until he was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit; they only began to happen after John the Baptist baptised Jesus in the Jordan river, and after Jesus came up out of the water that the Holy Spirit descended upon him in the form of a dove.

Why did Jesus not do any miracles by his own power for after all he still knew he was the Son of God, and actually God himself in the Holy Trinity? He surrendered his Godhead, becoming a man just like you and me, he done all this to show that when we receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit that we in turn could do the very same miracles; for then we would both have the same Holy Spirit to help us with his miracle working power. The only difference between us and Jesus was he did not doubt the Holy Spirit’s ability to do those awesome miracles he did, sadly we do!

Then Jesus went from Galilee to the Jordan River to be baptized there by John. 14 John didn’t want to do it. “This isn’t proper,” he said. “I am the one who needs to be baptized by you.” 15 But Jesus said, “Please do it, for I must do all that is right.” So then John baptized him. 16 After his baptism, as soon as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens

were opened to him and he saw the Spirit of God coming down in the form of a dove. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, and I am wonderfully pleased with him.”

Christians believe that Jesus could just walk about healing who he wanted to by his own Godly power inside of him. They are wrong because Jesus could not heal anyone until he received the ‘’same Holy Spirit’’ that we have at his baptism.’ After he was baptised, the Holy Spirit led him; - {he didn’t lead the Holy Spirit} out into the desert. This same Holy Spirit that we received is also the exact same Holy Spirit that Jesus had in him. If you study the parts of scripture when Jesus walked about healing you will see the scriptures declare ‘’and the power of the Holy Spirit was with him or on him,’’

Jesus said, ‘he did what he seen the father doing’ and it was the Holy Spirit relaying to him what people to touch, and whom not to; to go and preach here and not there. The Holy Spirit led Jesus to different people and to do miracles through ‘’his’’ power ‘’not’’ by ‘’Jesus power.’’ And it was probably by the ‘word of knowledge’ that Jesus seen what the father wanted him to do and we have that exact same gift;

Remember this, Jesus renounced his Godhead position, and became just an ordinary man who would bleed, feel pain, and suffer rejection, mockery, derision, and other terrible things. And we face the same things happening to us, and we also will do awesome miracles, and healings under the ‘’Holy Spirits power.’’

Now keep in mind ‘Jesus surrendered his power as God;’ and then he got the same power we now have available to us. He got his power from the Holy Spirit, and we get the exact same power from the same Holy Spirit, to show that God decided to make us ‘’equal to’’ and ‘’with Jesus,’’ to use us to do the same miracles and even greater ones than Jesus done. That’s love in action.

In writing about some of the miracles that God performed through me I am letting you know that you are no different than me or any of these great healers we see; you if you are baptized in the Holy Spirit then you have the same power source in you, and it is up to you to desire the gifts from the Holy Spirit as 1-Corinthians 12 -Says

4 Now God gives us many kinds of special abilities, but it is the same Holy Spirit who is the source of them all. 5 There are different kinds of service to God, but it is the same Lord we

are serving.6 There are many ways in which God works in our lives, but it is the same God who does the work in and through all of us who are his. 7 The Holy Spirit displays God’s power through each of us as a means of helping the entire church.

8 To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; someone else may be especially good at studying and teaching, and this is his gift from the same Spirit. 9 He gives special faith to another and to someone else the power to heal the sick. 10 He gives power for doing miracles to some, and to others power to prophesy and preach. He gives someone else the power to know whether evil spirits are speaking through those who claim to be giving God’s messages or whether it is really the Spirit of God who is speaking. Still another person is able to speak in languages he never learned; and others, who do not know the language either, are given power to understand what he is saying. 11 It is the same and only Holy Spirit who gives all these gifts and powers, deciding which each one of us should have.

There is such a lot in these scriptures concerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and you would not be blamed for thinking you are given just one gift as the Holy Spirit decides, but that is not what the Holy Spirit is saying at all. He is telling you that ‘’you can have one gift that you excel at,’’ and is more prominent in your life. But now let’s have a look at the rest of this scripture, for I finished off at the words from verse 11 now let’s examine verse 31

Here is a list of some of the parts he has placed in his Church, which is his body: Apostles, Prophets—those who preach God’s Word, Teachers, Those who do miracles, Those who have the gift of healing; Those who can help others, Those who can get others to work together, Those who speak in languages they have never learned.

29 Is everyone an apostle? Of course not; Is everyone a preacher? No. Are all teachers? Does everyone have the power to do miracles? 30 Can everyone heal the sick? Of course not; Does God give all of us the ability to speak in languages we’ve never learned? Can just anyone understand and translate what those are saying who have that gift of foreign speech? 31 No, but try ‘’your best’’ to have the more important of these gifts.

All of these gifts from the Holy Spirit are for the church, and some individuals make a ministry from using their strongest gift. Note I said strongest gift! In my life in the healing ministry I have been given every spiritual gift of the Holy Spirit because in a healing ministry you will at some time or other need the other gifts; for an example; when praying with someone and they don’t seem to be receiving their healing, the ‘’word of knowledge’’ will come into action when you ask for it, and when you receive a ‘’word of knowledge’’ saying, ‘evil spirit,’ letting you know this person has a evil spirit inside them, then you need ‘’discernment’’ to identify what this evil spirit is, then you will need ‘’wisdom’’ to deal with it, then you may need the ‘’gift of faith’’ to be able to deal with this thing, and as you began praying with this person you were probably praying in your gift of tongues, and more than likely are receiving translation from the spirit.

And maybe you will be given all these gifts at once or one after another depending what is happening. But what I am trying to attract your attention to is verse 31 it says ‘’TRY ~YOUR~ BEST,’’ to have the more important of these gifts. If you only had one gift given to you why would the Holy Spirit say ‘’try your best;’’ the emphasis is ‘on you’ not on the Holy Spirit; he will give you what you ask for, for he is the one saying to you ‘’try your best;’’ it is what your heart’s desire is, that you will get what you ask for. Not everyone is an Apostle, not everyone speaks in tongues, not everyone wants the Holy Spirits gifts, and I have encountered many in my lifetime with the lord who refuse to have his gifts; so the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God the father leaves the choices up to each individual person for what’s in their hearts.

Here is another scripture saying it’s up to you to ask for the gifts, not the Holy Spirit

since you’’ are so anxious to have special gifts from the Holy Spirit, ‘’ask him’’ for the ‘’very best,’’ for those that will be of real help to the whole church.

Do you see it yet; the onus is on us, the believer, to ask for the very best gifts and to me that is everything the Holy Spirit has to offer.

14 Let love be your greatest aim; nevertheless, ask also for the ‘’special abilities’’ {gifts} the Holy Spirit gives, and ‘’especially the gift of prophecy,’’ being able to preach the messages of God.

There is no greater gift to receive than to receive the very gift of the nature of God; and this gift far surpasses every other gift, for without love we are nothing. In this scripture it again focuses on ‘’us asking’’ for the special abilities which are the gifts of the Holy Spirit, God is encouraging us to ask, to seek, and you will find; knock and the door to his supernatural gifts will be opened, and he tells us which is considered to be one of the best gifts; and it is not miracles or healings or deliverance but ‘’prophecy,’’ and prophecy is being able to tell others what God wants them to have, to guide, and instruct them in their lives encouraging them at all times. Prophecy is being able to preach the messages from God teaching from his divine word. Something even greater than the supernatural gifts of God is love; love should be our greatest aim and it is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. For without love we are just an empty gong sounding, irritating people’s ears.

Scripture goes even better for it says in 1 Corinthians 1 6

during this time of waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In his word there is something so amazing, it is his love for you and me that he being an Almighty God has even got the time for us individually, to pour out awesome supernatural gifts for us to use through his Holy Spirit. ‘’I can never stop thanking God for all the wonderful gifts that God has given me’’, and the most important word there is he ‘’has’’ given me, and it is ‘’now,’’ this very moment in time, that ‘’I have every grace and blessing; every spiritual gift and power,’’ look at how much love is God showing you and me, and all we can think is how sinful and what a waste of space are we; well that’s the words I hear most of the time from Christians, not that we are ‘’loved beyond fault or failings.’’

We are blessed by God every day of our lives, and if we would just stop and think on his word that, ‘’he’’ ‘’has given us everything every gift and power’’ we would become mighty Christians for God.

We should spend our time in our thanksgiving prayers thanking him for his wonderful gifts, every grace and blessing. Instead most Christians think how

they are, not that they have the very

of God

on them

cleansing them through his Holy Spirit washing them daily in the precious blood of Jesus Christ our redeemer

In this book I could not even tell you one miracle performed through me without expressing the awesome things God has done for us by giving us his Holy Spirit, and the name of Jesus; and it is in believing what God says about me, that makes these miracles happen through me; and he is more than willing to do the same miracles through

you also

for he loves us all equally.

The denial of Jesus by Christians

Last night I was at a Christian fellowship meeting run by my Church, and a lady was talking on the greater things we will do according to Jesus. No one knew of anything greater than anything done by Jesus, but when asked, I said there ‘’is one thing’’ that we could do that Jesus could not do when he walked the streets of his country, and that was ‘’he could not baptise anyone in the spirit for he had to die before the spirit would come,’’ and people received the Holy Spirit, one, by an action of the Holy Spirit descending on someone, and the other, was by the laying on of hands.

As the discussion went along people kept asking what do we need to do to begin doing the things Jesus done, and each time I said there was only two thing Jesus done while he ministered here on earth, and that was to preach the gospel,{tell of his father’s kingdom and entry through him into it.} And the other was to heal the sick by driving out demons and healing the sick by touching them.

And then the Apostles followed suit; they preached the gospel and healed the sick;

And still they avoided the answer laid out before them; they talked of work and doing material or earthly things, yet they chose to ignore what I said on all that Jesus done. And the leader at the end said we have deviated away from the original questions, and so tried to change the subject back to the original question? What are the greater things that we would do, greater things than Jesus, so I shut up and didn’t say what was on my heart. ‘’If you try and separate healing away from Jesus, you have denied Jesus himself,’’ ‘His nature healing is inseparateable from Jesus who preached the gospel,’ you cannot divide Jesus from himself for it is his nature to bring people to heaven and his nature to heal. You cannot throw the baby out with the bath water as the old saying goes.

Just before Jesus ascended into heaven he told the apostles that they were to go out into this world and do only ‘’three things,’’ one being the thing greater than what he could do; ‘’preach the gospel’’ and to ‘’heal the sick,’’ and that was to ‘’baptise everyone in the spirit,’’ that one thing that he Jesus could not do.

He rebuked them for their unbelief—their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him alive from the dead.

15 And then he told them, “You are to go into the entire world and ‘’preach the Good News’’ to everyone, everywhere. ’’16 Those who believe and are baptized will be saved. But those who refuse to believe will be condemned.

17 “And those who believe shall use ‘’my’’ authority’’ to cast out demons, and they shall ‘’speak new languages’’ 18 They will be able even to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them; and ‘’they will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them.”

When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at God’s right hand.

And the disciples went everywhere preaching, and the ‘’Lord was with them’’ and ‘’confirmed what they said by the miracles that followed their messages.’’

And now to us in these days what are we to do? Build big churches and places of employment or other worldly things; No! We were told to ‘’go out into this world and preach the gospel’’ and bring others into the family of God;’’ to cast out demons that are causing sickness and diseases in people,’’ and the most wonderful thing of all to ‘’baptise people in the spirit,’’ for when you have him you have everything, for ‘’he is in Jesus’’ and ‘’in the father’’ and also now ‘’in us’’ and ‘’those who receive him.’’

Why is it important to heal the sick, well for one reason this is what Jesus done and he said to ‘’follow me,’’ to do the things he done with a ‘’loving attitude.’’ And he instructed the Apostles to do what he done and then instructed the future believer’s to do the same he didn’t tell them to build large buildings to do worldly things for he tells us that heaven is our home; sure ‘’he will’’ tell certain people to build a large building so that people could come together and worship him; or to do some certain act that they have been chosen for, but that is for a fewer amount of people, the true believers.

King David in the Old Testament wanted to build a temple to the lord, but the lord stopped him and then used his son Solomon to build the temple

3 Finally the actual construction of the Temple began. Its location was in Jerusalem at the top of Mount Moriah, where the Lord had appeared to Solomon’s father, King David, and where the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite had been. David had selected it as the site for the Temple.

2 Solomon now decided that the time had come to build a temple for the Lord and a palace for himself.

King David felt led to build the temple for the lord; but it was his son Solomon that would actually begin the work; sometimes God will place an idea into someone’s mind, and then use someone else to complete the work he decided upon, probably King David had said to his son about building this temple many times as he was growing up and it was he that finally built this temple. God may have called me to a certain work but he is also calling you into the same

work and that is to ‘’preach the gospel’’ and ‘’heal the sick;’’ he may use me differently than you but we all have the same commission to preach the gospel no matter what way we may do it.

If God is calling you to do a separate work for him, then you do it following obedience; but for the biggest majority of people it is to go out into this world, {your neighbours around you} and invite them in to your home or a place where you could ‘’preach the gospel and heal the sick,’’ for Jesus promised to be there with you as you tell people about his forgiveness of sin and salvation.

Now what does God say about his miracles and healing.

I have followed these instructions from my father God in his word, and by the guidance from the Holy Spirit I have gone out into this world, and I have

preached the gospel and baptised in the spirit and healed the sick for nothing else but for the glory of God; and for love of him and to give him glory, and this little booklet is just some of the stories where the sick were healed after sharing the gospel. Most of the time I decided to go out to people’s houses when I was asked, and done services there, and times when I went out to do healing services in different places because I desired to bring soul’s to Jesus; I had ‘’my instructions to follow according to the word of God;’’ and so knew he was to be glorified and that I longed to do.

I didn’t wait to be asked and times I went and preached the gospel when it was convenient or not. That is what the word tells us to do; and that is what we must do to be followers of Christ. I have held healing services in bars because the churches didn’t want them in their church!

Here are some of the miracles that God done through me, and he desires to do the same through you.

Chapter Three

Stacey’s miracle

A friend I never ever met personally got in touch with me through my website, asking me to pray for her friend in a nursing home where she was diagnosed with a life threatening disease, that no one ever survived more that seventy two weeks.

At the time I was going to spend a few weeks in Turkey with my two daughters who lived there with their husbands. I wrote back to Carol my friend that ‘I

would pray for her’ when the lord spoke to me and said, ‘’do not pray for her, pray with her,’’ so I changed my message saying once I get set up with the internet I would call her to get the details from her, where I could contact her. After a week I got connected to the internet and got in touch with my friend Carol and she gave me Stacey’s husbands phone number.

Later on as Rose and I came home from a meal out at our daughters restaurant and as soon as we entered Brenda’s home the lord spoke to me and said, ‘’go out into the garden,’’ so I told Rose I was going out to the garden for a minute or two. Outside in the garden the lord spoke to me, and said to, ‘’phone Stacey’s husband in America,’’ and so I rang his number and was surprised to hear him answer right away. So I asked him if Stacy would like me to pray for her, and that I was Carol’s friend in Ireland; so he put me on hold for a minute as he asked Stacy if she wanted me to pray with her, and then he answered and said, ‘’Stacy said yes,’’ and at that moment Carol entered the nursing home room that they were in, and I spoke to her and gave her some instructions, then I prayed, and as I prayed for about five minutes God started to heal her; first her arms, and then her legs; she was totally paralyzed from head to toe, was almost blind and couldn’t speak. I had been put on speaker phone and I could hear squeals coming from the phone and I asked what was happening and Carol eventually came on the phone and said, ‘’Stacy was moving both her arms and her legs, and was receiving her sight again and was beginning to speak.’’

I praised the lord for what he was doing, then I heard another commotion going on, and Stacey’s husband came on to the phone, and told me that a ninety year old woman in the next bed to Stacy woke up, and was sitting wide awake asking, ‘’was she dead and in heaven as she could hear angels talking,’’ {it was me praying in tongues over the speaker phone. Lol} Then Stacy’s husband told her Stacy is getting prayed with by a man in Ireland, {I was actually in Turkey} and she asked if I would pray with her, so he asked me and I of course said, yes, no sooner did I begin to pray when the spirit of God touched her and she fall back down on the bed and he rested her in the spirit

Then I told Carol I was about to run out of credit for my phone and said, ‘’could I pray with her again tomorrow night,’’ so we agreed to connect the next night and I hung up.

{Now here is another miracle that the lord done for me; I had phoned my friend Adrian Curry the previous day, and the call for less than ten minutes cost me fifty pounds, I knew that a call to the USA would cost me a lot more, but when I checked my credits after phoning the USA It had cost me less than a fiver, I was shocked to say the least.}

Next night as Rose and I were entering Brenda’s home The phone rang and a woman’s voice said, ‘’hi could I speak to Brendan,’’ and I replied this is Brendan and I got the greatest shock of my life when she said, ‘’Hi this is Stacy the woman you prayed with last night; I just wanted to tell you thank you, for God has healed me, and my surgeon had arrived at my bedside to arrange with my family, details of my dying, and my pastor had come to arrange my burial details, and both are standing at my bedside gawking at me as I am out of bed and walking up and down the corridor.’’ She gave thanks to God with me and bid me farewell and God’s blessings on me.

Two or more years later I happened to phone my friend Carol in the states and I asked her how was Stacy doing, and she replied, ‘she was out on the floor dancing with her son whose wedding she was at,’ so I bid her a wonderful day and thanked her for getting me to pray with Stacy, ‘’Stacy was the only person she had ever laid hands on in thirty five years as a baptised Christian.’’ Stacy is still well praise the lord for he is good.

‘O Lord GOD, You have only begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your mighty hand; for what God is there in heaven or on earth that can do such works and mighty (miracles) as You.

Chapter Four Boy and girl with skin disease

My friend Carol Lough from Portstewart phoned me one morning, asking if I could come to Colerain and pray with a couple of children suffering with severe eczema, a terrible skin disease that there is no cure for. I told her yes and so left a little time later to drive to Colerain to see these children, when I got to Carols home I got into her car and we went to see these children at their home.

When we arrived, the mother greeted us and called up the stairs for her little son to come down. She introduced us to her daughter who was also suffering from this same horrible disease and I seen that her skin disease was bad and very painful looking, but when her little brother arrived downstairs, I was shocked to see his condition; he was covered in yellow pus and blood in every portion of his little body; there was not one place where there was no disease. My heart broke at the sight of him and his mother told us that he has never been at school or even been out of the house to play, as she had to change his pyjamas very often as they got into a terrible state from his constant state.

I felt the lord say tell him to go back up to bed again. After he left I asked the lord what it was he wanted me to do, he said, tell the mother something, but first I was to pray with the Girl, and as I prayed with her the Holy Spirit gave me a word of knowledge, {a gift of the Holy Spirit} and said what caused her to have eczema was the shock of moving home away from her friends, I prayed that God would heal that wound and then I said she can go out to play,

Waiting on the little girl to go out I asked the lord for another word of knowledge, and he told me, ‘’the boy’s eczema was caused by the mother rejecting him in the womb.’’

I talked with the mother asking how she felt when she first discovered she was pregnant, and she replied that she was disgusted, she was over thirty five and was attending the hospital with other expecting mothers all young girls of eighteen to twenty. She told me she was ashamed to be pregnant with this baby among all these young mothers, and she felt disgusted at them knowing she had sex with her husband at her age. As this poor mother kept talking with me she mentioned many, many times that she was disgusted with herself and could only refer to herself as disgusting filthy and so on; describing her son as a Johnny Walker baby, {Johnny Walker is a whisky} in other words she became pregnant when she was drunk.

As I listened to her, the lord told me to ‘tell her to forgive herself’ for how she felt, and slowly she reluctantly began to forgive herself. Then the lord instructed me to tell her that when he son was asleep tonight, to go into his bedroom and say ‘’forgive me for not wanting you,’’ she was to speak this to his spirit and not loud in case she awoke her little son; so later than night she done this, and the next morning she awoke to see her son even worse than he was before.

So she phoned the doctor who came and seen him, and he put him into hospital, and the doctor there put cream on him and covered him with bandages he was like a Mummy. Next morning the doctor came to see him and as he took off the bandages he was shocked to see this little boys skin was like a brand new baby’s skin, not a wrinkle or a blemish and no eczema, so he sent for the parents who came immediately to the hospital, and he showed them their son sitting up in bed playing with some toys, and he showed them his skin and pointed up wards said this is a miracle.

A few days later I was asked to come to this woman’s home to see her son. When Carol and I arrived the mother had to send her daughter out to the street to find the boy as he was playing with some new friends, when he eventual came in she showed me his skin and there was nothing to say he ever had eczema, his skin was beautiful and fresh. His sister’s skin also was like brand new shin. He had one little wrinkle between his thumb and first finger as a reminder of what god done for him.

A happy mother indeed

Chapter five

Old woman healed through forgiveness

I was doing my usual Wednesday night healing service in Portstewart at the home of two friends of mine; they invited people they met on their days out, or in Bernard’s pub to their home, where they informed them I was having healing services each week.

On this particular night about twenty people came, and the majority of them young people ages from sixteen to twenty five, but among the young people there was a lady aged about eighty years old. I seen that her hands and feet were crippled with arthritis, they were disfigured and she looked in lots of pain.

I as usually began telling them the gospel message; explaining that Jesus took all their sins unto his body, and it was on the cross on Calvary he took their sins into his body, and suffered and died there and, I explained that Jesus also paid for their sickness and diseases at the ‘’scourging at the pillar,’’ where he suffered for us on our behalf so that we could be free from sickness and disease; he was about to pay the full price for our sins and for our sickness and diseases by dying on that cross with the worlds sins; from the beginning of time to the future until everything stops at the coming of the lord Jesus Christ. And on that cross he suffered for hours in terrible agony and then he said, ‘’it is finished,’’ then bowed his head and died.

The devil, that evil monster, thought that he had captured the Son of God by having the Romans crucifying him, and he was delighted, and rejoicing that he had the son of Almighty God killed. But then on Easter Sunday Jesus again took on his sonship in the power of the Holy Trinity, he defeated Satan in his own kingdom, and also defeated ever rebellious angel in the devils own kingdom, then he paraded them before the father and every angel and majestic beings having made a show of them, stripped naked and bowing low before heavens angelic hosts powers and authorities.

After explaining about Jesus defeat of the devil, that being called Satan and Lucifer, I then went on to explain that God wanted to give his very own children, you and me, his own Holy Spirit, and after praying for them to receive this awesome gift from our Father God I opened them up to receive the gift of tongues and the other gifts of the Holy Spirit, and some began praying in tongues.

The normal thing I do is to explain ‘’forgiveness is essential towards healing,’’ God demands that we ‘’forgive those who sinned against us.’’ Those kids including the old lady chose to forgive those who done them wrong and their forgiveness was meant and the proof is their healings

Then the next thing I normally do is ask those in pain or sick, to put their hand up and I would then lay hands on them. The first person to put their hand up was the old lady, and no sooner did I touch her when the power of the Holy

Spirit went through her and she was freed from her sickness of arthritis. She informed me that all her pain had disappeared, then to my amazement she stood up on crippled feet, and she began to dance around the living room, and as she danced as a former ballet dancer

I witnessed her feet straighten and her hands opened to perfection as she danced with Joy, the Holy Spirit opened those crippled hands and feet. Looking down at herself she saw her hands and feet and legs had all straightened out she continued to dance and she danced with joy; the lady whose home I was in told me she had been a professional ballet dancer in her younger days, and it was with great joy all those in the room began shouting out praise and worshipping God.

When she sat down I continued praying with the rest of those who came for healing, and faith was in abundance because of this old ladies proof in her miracle, and all of those who came were instantly healed the moment the lord touched them through my hands, it is with great humility that I give him all the glory he deserves; because it a great privilege to be used by God and witnessing the Holy Spirit heal them all, it was an amazing night for all of us.

Psalm 39 1 Living Bible (TLB)

39 I said to myself, I’m going to quit complaining! I’ll keep quiet, especially when the ungodly are around me. 2 3 But as I stood there silently the turmoil within me grew to the bursting point. The more I mused, the hotter the fires inside. Then at last I spoke and pled with God: 4 Lord, help me to realize how brief my time on earth will be. Help me to know that I am here for but a moment more. 5 6 My life is no longer than my hand! My whole lifetime is but a moment to you. Proud man! Frail as breath! A shadow! And all his busy rushing ends in nothing. He heaps up riches for someone else to spend. 7 And so, Lord, my only hope is in you.

8 Save me from being overpowered by my sins, for even fools will mock me then.

9 Lord, I am speechless before you. I will not open my mouth to speak one word of complaint, for my punishment is from you.

Chapter six

Jan’s healing from severe arthritis

I was just a new Christian and had recently received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and listened intently to everything Father Kelly the leader of the prayer meeting said especially when he talked of healing and miracles, I was the most

excited person there because I loved reading stories of Blessed Martin De pores, and reading the supernatural miracles and healings that God done through him, and of his miraculous happening in his life as a young monk.

We were told there was a weekend coming up soon, a spiritual retreat for all the prayer meetings around. Rose and I were very excited as we organised my sister Marian to look after the kids until we came back. The day of the weekend had arrived and Rose and I prayed together asking the lord to use us if he wanted to, and then we set off for the meeting. At the meeting we met our friends that went to our prayer meeting and were so pleased to make many new friends including a sister Madelyn, during the lunch time Sister Madelyn would come and sit with us and we talked about healing and miracles and were looking for God to show us some. Sister Madelyn asked if Rose and I would pray with a lady there called Jan who was suffering from arthritis and could not lift her arms up and was suffering pain in every part of her body, so we agreed, she told us she was off to see the two priest who were running the weekend and see if we could pray with Jan; she came back saying yes the priests were excited to have the healing done after the concentration of mass.

When the leaders of the prayer group we were going to found out about this they nearly went out of their minds trying to find some way to stop it, but the two priests overruled them, and at the concentration Jan came up to the front where she had a chair to sit and Rose and I began praying with her, then we asked her if she had any pain and she replied no, the two priests were delighted and so was sister Madelyn, then they continued with the mass.

After mass was over I was pulled across the coals by one of the prayer meeting leaders who told me God said to him he would never use me to heal anyone, and tore into me about how this woman was in a terrible state she had to leave the room where we prayed for her and hasn’t been seen since she was in such a bad state.

Just as we were going home this same man came over to me and Rose and gave me a dressing down saying God will never use me.

A few hours later Rose and I were sitting having our tea when the Phone rang and it was this same man again telling me I was never to pray with anyone ever again, after he rang off the phone rang again, and dreading this call as we were so down and so feeling like we done something wrong that we would never pray with anyone again; when a very cheerful voice spoke and said, ‘’Hi Brendan This is sister Madelyn, I just want to give you some good news; here is

someone wanting to speak with you,’’ and she put Jan on the phone who proceeded to tell us she was completely healed and for the first time in years she could lift her children up into her arms and for the first time in years she could now brush her hair.

She went on to explain why she left the mass after getting prayed with; she told us she could not stand this man and others negativity, and disbelief that she went to her room and locked herself in as she felt the presence and power of God all over her and the peace she was experiencing she didn’t want to let this man and his supporters destroy her experience with God.

And she thanked us for praying with her and hung up; a short time later this man again rang the phone starting to say the same thing again; and being a brand new Christian I told him to ++++++++ off and hung up on him. Not very Christ like but it felt great.

Colossians 3:16 TLB

Remember what Christ taught, and let his words enrich your lives and make you wise; teach them to each other and sing them out in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing to the Lord with thankful hearts.

Chapter Seven

Men healed from painful illness at Drumalis

I was attending a healing weekend retreat in Drumalis retreat centre in Larne Co Antrim, every Pentecost Sunday weekend for over twenty one years now; and over the weekend people as usual came to me prayer for healing as I attended this same retreat for twenty one years, and they knew I have the gift of healing. I seen the women being dropped off by their husbands or taxi drivers every year and then the men would drive off then arrive back when the retreat was over.

This was a different type of retreat for me this time; normally people would come to me asking for healing during the food breaks, and after eating I would spend some time praying with them, but this time it had more people than usual seeking healing and so as soon as I finished eating, and sometimes I didn’t even get to eat my dinner. {I never minded, in fact I loved it,} I love

ministering to people, and seeing their God touching them, and have them experience the touch of their God as they received their healings. I always had a cup of tea with me when I prayed with people it kept my mouth from drying up.

During a tea break one of the new leaders at this retreat got on to me, and basically told me to stop praying with people and get them to wait till I finished eating, and had time to digest it; and as she told me off I had a sense in my spirit that woman in particular resented me praying with people for whatever reason.

This was not the first time I had people oppose me when I prayed with the sick; but the priest who was one of those who ran the meeting always came to me and encouraged me to pray with those needing healing as soon as he arrived, but this time was different; I had a sense of opposition coming from this new retreat leaders, and the power of God was on me stronger than it usually was; I had felt an increase of power as soon as I came through the retreat house gates and I didn’t know why, except to see it come into being during the week end. When the retreat came to an end I was asked if I would pray with a woman who could not walk except with a walking aid and it was obvious to everyone that she was crippled and in lots of pain.

I prayed with her outside the building because it was a beautiful sunny day outside and as I prayed and talked with her, a lot of husbands and taxi’s arrived to collect their fares or their wives. Many a time those women would say to me their husbands were unbelievers and they launched into attacks on their wives for believing in this crap as they described it, and some shared this happened to them every year for years it was just the enemy trying to destroy the joy those women felt, for some of those women experienced terrible times during our troubles; and on those weekend’s Fr Ronnie would have emotional healing services and I would play the music for him and those poor women who lost sons or husbands or daughters due to the troubles, the war with Britain would receive emotional healing.

Anyway as I prayed with this particular woman, I noticed those men and the taxi drivers arriving and watching what I was doing. And then some people with walking sticks began cueing up, waiting to get prayed with, and as God began healing them I noticed that some of those taxi men moving closer to try and see and hear what was happening, and when they seen some people get healed and they received their healing.

I had them doing strenuous exercises to make sure their pain had truly gone, they bent over and touched the ground with their finger tips, and walked without their walking aids and jumped up and down praising God aloud.

As I got to the last person on the queue, and as God healed them obviously to the crowd of taxi men watching, one of those taxi men came over to me and asked what was I doing, I explained to him that God was saving their souls, and guarantee their getting into heaven, then baptising them in his Holy Spirit and giving them the gift of tongues, that being the first of God’s great gifts to help them pray the way God wanted them to pray; and then I explained that God wanted to heal everyone, he wanted to heal those in pain or suffering some disease.

I never noticed, because I stood with my back to the other taxi men, that those men had come up close and they heard everything I had told this taxi man, and then as I prayed with him the lord baptised him in the Holy Spirit and he began speaking in tongues, and then healed him, and it was obvious to these other men that this man had come here with a short leg and they seen the lord grow that leg out and they seen this for themselves.

For the first time these men seen God visibly heal people in pain, and I explained it was not my praying that brought the healings, for I sometimes stand away from people to show others I do not need to touch them, and that it was God showing his children love demonstrated through those receiving their healing. I ended up praying with those men, all of them including those men who were taxi drivers.

When I finally finished praying with those men who were picking up their wives or fares, I noticed some women talking with their taxi men, as I sat down to take a short break before I went to get ready to go home. A group of those women came over to me and laughingly asked what did I do to their husbands, as their husbands normally gave them a hard time after the retreats were over throughout the years they came here, usually mocking them for going to this religious weekend as they dropped them off. Some of them said their husbands were talking in tongues and praising God aloud as they waited for their passengers. I explained they just met Jesus, were baptised in the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues and also received their healing for God loved them.

This was the best retreat ever for me; but sad to say that one leader that opposed me praying with folk objected about my praying with the people on the retreat, she got together with others and sent me a letter saying, ‘do not

come back again as this was not your retreat, but the retreat for Father Ronnie.’

As I was heading into the church getting ready for the finishing mass, I saw Father Ronnie getting dressed, and as I went to walk past, the Holy Spirit within me told me to back and talk with him about God’s healing, and about my feeling that there were people opposing me, and he said, ‘’I have no problems personally to your ministering to the folk on this retreat.’’ And I knew there was going to be complaints from these new leaders by the way he said that to me, and sure enough there came that letter telling me to not come back.

The strangest thing I noticed on this retreat, there were no healing sessions anywhere or anytime on this weekend retreat. I don’t know if this was deliberate or not a part of the weekend service anymore, and that it was only through me the Holy Spirit healed those in need of prayer; the Holy Spirit knew that there was no one praying with others at that time; and knew of their jealousy. None of those leaders thought that it was only God’s Holy Spirit that healed that weekend, for no one can heal except through the spirit of God, and ‘’he should have got the glory for healing those ill and suffering people,’’ so to him I give all glory honour and eternal goodness. This turned out to be the very last retreat weekend ever as later that year Fr Ronnie sadly died.

Your workmanship is marvellous and how well I know it. 15 You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion! 16 You saw me before I was born and

scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!

17 18 How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly! I can’t even count how many times a day your thoughts turn toward me. And when I waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!

19 Surely you will slay the wicked, Lord! Away, bloodthirsty men! Begone! 20 They blaspheme your name and stand in arrogance against you how silly can they be? 21 O Lord, shouldn’t I hate those who hate you? Shouldn’t I be grieved with them? 22 Yes, I hate them, for your enemies are my enemies too.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test my thoughts. 24 Point out anything you find in me that makes you sad, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Chapter eight

Gypsy child dies and saves her family

‘’

This child will save her people,’’ were the words that God spoke to me as I prayed with this sick little Gypsy girl who was dying from cancer in a Buncranna Nursing home.

A Christian friend of mine phoned me one day to ask if I would go with her to pray with a young gypsy girl who was dying from cancer, and of course I was glad to be asked. This friend came and collected me from my home and drove us down to the nursing home. We were greeted at the door of the nursing home by a nun, who showed us where the girl was laying on her sick bed. When we entered the room the nuns were there looking after her and both her parents were standing there watching over her. My friend introduced me to the mother telling her I was the man she had talked to her about. The mother said to me ‘’will she be cured’’ I answered her, ‘’I do not know only God knows the answer to that question; all I can do is pray for her.’’

I always carried a bottle of blessed oil with me when I prayed with the sick at that time, and I explained about the scripture where it says to ‘anoint the sick with oil,’ and when I finished explaining about what I normally do I began by anointing everyone there including the nuns hands; but I did not realise that I didn’t anoint the child for I asked her did she want to get better, and was shocked when she replied, ‘’no, she wanted to die.’’ I prayed for her as best as I could with that answer for you cannot go against anyone’s wishes, so I asked the lord to tell me what’s happening to this young girl. The lord said to me,

that ‘’this child will save her people.’’ I thought that meant he will heal her so I told the mother as she again asked me will she be cured, what God just told me.

Then we shook hands with everyone and left.

I told my friend what the lord had said to me, as she didn’t hear the mother asking quietly would the lord heal her.

Two days passed when I got a call from my friend saying that the young gypsy girl had died, and would I like to go to the funeral to be held in Buncranna chapel the next morning at ten o clock mass.

On the morning of the funeral mass I drove down to the chapel where I met my friend outside and we went in the side door. A very strong wind arose during the funeral service and at the end of the mass it began to ease off. So off we went to the graveyard the wind blowing very strongly.

After the service was ended I went home saying bye to my friend. A little time later my friend phoned me and said, ‘’did you hear the news?’’ ‘’I said no, why?’’ she went on to tell me that all the gypsy caravans were destroyed and thankfully no one was in them at the time as they were at the Mass and funeral and the tea for the mourners afterwards.

The gypsies had parked their caravans at the beach side of the road as they had done so for many years. They parked at the exposed seafront as usual.

When a strong gale force wind hit the caravans which were whipped up into the air and smashed against the rocks on the opposite of the road, not one caravan escaped destruction.

Thankfully the news has said, that ‘’if the people in those caravans had been in them they would have been dashed to death or badly injured,’’ as the caravans were smashed into a million pieces against the wall, and they were happy to announce that as the gypsies were at the funeral service, no one was hurt or killed; ‘’the lord did save her people’’ as he said to me, ‘’this child will save her people,’’ and I thought that she would be the one to get the gypsy families saved for heaven; instead she died and in doing so she did save her people, God knew best and he saved those people using this little child’s death.

Was this a failure, that this child I prayed for her healing, died; one thing I have learned in my years of ministry’ God knows best, and he is Almighty, all knowing, all seeing God. so why have I wrote this apparent failure; it is to show you to always pray for healing for that is the perfect will of God, Jesus took our

sickness and bore our diseases. And then there is the will of the person being prayed for. I wanted this child healed; but she wanted to die. God honoured her wish and he turned it to good and so prophesised that she will save her own gypsy people and he did. Prayer is never wasted

I wrote this story to show that even if someone dies that you are praying for or with, that God has a plan anyway; and as I said prayer is never wasted, he turns everything to good for those who love him and do his will.

Chapter nine

Two women healed from arthritis and severe swelling in their bodies

I was invited to come to a friend’s home in killmacrernnin in Southern Ireland about forty miles from my home. On arriving I seen that the house was almost full, so I prepared asking the Holy Spirit what does he wish me to do.

When I began the meeting I began with some worship music, and then I ended when I felt the Holy Spirit say, ‘’enough, now preach the word.’’ After about ten minutes into preaching the word, the Holy Spirit gave me a word from the lord and after I shared this word; that ‘’we are not sinners but righteous,’’ a woman interrupted me by saying that was not right or the Catholic church and the priests would tell them; we are sinners says the church. I replied saying, ‘’read the word of God it says ‘’Christ died for us whilst we were sinner but now we are declared righteous through the cross of Jesus on Calvary.’’

Acts 13:39 Living Bible

Everyone who trusts in him is freed from all guilt and declared righteous—something the Jewish law could never do.

5 So now, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith in his promises, we can have real peace with him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.2 For because of our faith, he has brought us into this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to actually becoming all that God has had in mind for us to be.

3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us they help us learn to be patient. 4 And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it, until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady. 5 Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

6 When we were utterly helpless, with no way of escape, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners who had no use for him.7 Even if we were good, we really wouldn’t expect anyone to die for us, though, of course, that might be barely possible. 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.9 And since by his blood he did all this for us ‘’as sinners,’’ how much more will he do for us ‘’now’’ that ‘’he’’ has declared us ‘’not guilty?’’ Now he will save us from all of God’s wrath to come.

I gave that woman this scripture which shows we were once sinners but for those who accepted Jesus into their hearts and repented of our sins we are now declared righteous, and then another woman began ridiculing me saying the same as the other woman. It turned out that these two woman were religious teachers; before I could say another word, the Holy Spirit said to me ‘’stand there and say nothing;’’ Before long these two woman had one half of the room we were in arguing against each other. We were in an L shaped room and people on their side of the room began arguing among themselves. I was standing in the middle of the room between the two sides, and I stood there as they all argued against each other some for and most against, and I just stood quietly worshiping in tongues when the Spirit said, ‘that’s enough,’ and I felt led to turn to the people in the other side or the room; and I asked them did they have anything to say about this argument, and these people remained silent except for one woman sitting on a sofa beside another woman, spoke up and said, ‘’I wish they would shut up,’’ and most of people in the other side or the room heard her and they did shut up.

The lord then gave me a word of knowledge saying, ‘‘he has healed this woman and the woman sitting beside her of the same diseases;’’ I went over

to this woman who had spoke up saying ‘I wish they would shut up’ and as I went to pray with her, suddenly the Holy Spirit began healing her as she dropped down in dress size, she was filled with fluid and she was shocked as we could all see her fat disappear, then the Holy Spirit healed her from deformity caused by arthritis as we watched her hands fluid in them and her fingers straightened out and all her pain left, the next thing that happened the woman sitting beside her on the sofa had the same identical illness and she was also healed in the same way, her dress size went down and we seen her grab for her pants as she lost so much weight, she could feel them loosen; God has a great sense of humour! We all seen her arthritis disappear and she declared she was pain free.

After these two women were healed the Holy Spirit directed me to pray with the others in this side of the room.

After I had prayed with the rest of these people the lord healed them and then when I felt that was it, the lord told me to stand still in the middle of the room again, and just at that a man came in and sat down in this side of the room and the Holy Spirit said to me he has healed this man’s diseases, and I asked him to stand up and he done so; then the Holy Spirit said he just healed another man sitting just in front of me from the same diseases, and I asked him to stand up also, Then the Spirit said to me to ask if they had any pain in their bodies; strangely both men said they felt no pain whilst they were sitting, saying their pain was most high when they tried walking; so I asked them both to walk to the front door a few times and back again; so they began walking down the owners hallway a few times and then said they had no pain what so ever.

Of course the rest of those arguing suddenly wanted prayer for healing, and as I prayed for them the Holy Spirit continued healing them. It was about two-oclock when I sat down when everyone had been healed and were leaving so I sat down and the woman who invited me to come to her home asked would l like a cup of tea?

I replied ‘yes,’ and then she turned around to me and asked if I would pray with two more women and I agreed, and to my surprise the two women who had caused the argument walked around the corner of the room and said sheepishly, ‘I know you probably don’t want to pray with us,’ and I said ‘no that’s not true and asked her what healing she needed,; and as I prayed with her she said that I had prayed with her brother over the phone who was in a coma in the hospital on a machine as he was in this coma for years, and after I prayed with him in agreement with the man who phoned me to ask for prayer

for this man, he woke up later on, and asked for some yogurt, much to the shock of the doctors and nurses there and to his family who were present. I was surprised that she had a miracle happen for her brother through God using me, and she came against me when I spoke of the goodness of God, Praise God he healed all her pain and then the other woman asked if I would pray with her and I placed my hand on her head and she was instantly healed, then the two ladies left and I sat down and received my cup of tea and a bun.

God’s spirit worked a ‘personal miracle for me’ when I began driving going home about five in the morning and a few miles down the road away from my friends house, the Holy Spirited suddenly lifted my car and I was transported to a few miles outside of my home Derry in the blink of an eye. This was the first of three times when the Holy Spirit did this for me getting me home early. And I give him all the glory, for this was now the fourth time he had done this for me and the fourth was a different situation altogether, and is told briefly after this next scripture.

Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch

Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is a desert place. 27 And he rose and went. And there was an Ethiopian, a eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure. He had come to Jerusalem to worship 28 and was returning, seated in his chariot, and he was reading the prophet Isaiah. 29 And the Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and join this chariot.” 30 So Philip ran to him and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?”31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.32 Now the passage of the Scripture that he was reading was this:

“Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter, and like a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he opens not his mouth 33 In his humiliation justice was denied him. Who can describe his generation? For his life is taken away from the earth.”

And the eunuch said to Philip, “About whom, I ask you, does the prophet say this, about himself or about someone else?” 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture he told him the good news about Jesus. 36 And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?” 38 And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him.39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no

more, and went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he preached the gospel to all the towns until he came to Caesarea.

Transporting someone from one place to another is not new to the Holy Spirit, in another instance I was transported from my back hall to a communist country and was led there to speak to a woman about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and in tongues, then I was transported back into my back hall. There is more to this story but again this has nothing to do with miracles and healing, so it is in another book somewhere.

Chapter nine

Christine’s miracle healing from cervical Cancer

My wife Rose and I were on holiday in Greencastle Southern Ireland where we had rented out a cabin along with our daughter and her husband and two kids Noel and Eli. I was in a chip shop one evening getting some fish and chips for us all, and was standing in a queue, I noticed the woman working there only spoke to the customers and that was to take their orders. When it came to my turn I placed my order with her, and when she put my order on, she started talking with me, talking about her son who was deaf, then she shared with me that she had cervical cancer and had been given a short time to live, I was surprised that she even spoke to me as she didn’t speak to the other customers. I listened saying that was terrible, but not saying anything about prayer with her; finally I got my order and left. That night I could not get any sleep as all I could think of was her, I felt the lord nudging me to go and offer healing to her. Next morning I awoke and this woman was still on my mind, so I decided to go to the chip shop and see if she was there. When I got into the village I walked into the chip shop and there was this woman, I said to her would she like a prayer for healing and I began sharing with her the miracles that God had done, and she said she would love a prayer.

Later on that evening I met with Christine and her boyfriend came with her; and was sitting at the restaurant on the site. I spoke of the gospel to her and her partner and they both accepted the lord into their lives baptised in the Holy Spirit and then I invited them to come to the cabin where we had rented for a few weeks. A few minutes later we arrived at the cabin and Rose and I

prayed with Christine, I sensed the lord saying tell Rose to place her hand just below her waist line, and after a few minutes she asked could she use our toilet, so we showed where it was; showing her the toilet we sat there praying in tongues for her. When Christine came out of the toilet she said that all her burning pain had disappeared; we gave the lord praise for her healing, and as she left she informed us that she had to see her specialist who had told her she had only a few weeks left to live then left. We didn’t hear from Christine for a while.

A few month later as I was scrolling through my phone, I accidently hit on voicemail messages, and I heard the operator say, you have forty two new messages, and as I listened to them I deleted them as I went along until I got to the second last one and I heard Christine’s voice saying, she had just come out of the specialist surgery, and he asked her where was her boyfriend, and she told him she drove all the way herself as her boyfriend was in England working.

She told me he was shocked that she had come all the way to the hospital almost One hundred Miles away on her own, after that he began to examine her and as he inserted his camera into her cervix he asked her, ‘’did she have surgery anywhere else as her cancer had disappeared.’’ She told him no, and he asked her is there anything she wants to share with him and he kept repeating this question to her, and she kept saying no. He showed her his previous x rays and they showed up where he had cut away the cancer and it showed where her new cancer was, then he showed her his X rays and there was no sign of cancer anywhere in her cervix and as he held the two scans up together she could see there was no longer any cancer; the specialist told her there wasn’t even any scar tissue, so what happened to you, she wouldn’t tell him she had been prayed with, he told her he was going to take a deeper biopsy to see what happened to the cancer, and he would send her out the results in a few weeks time and during the time I didn’t know about the voice mail, she had gotten her report back; no cancer anywhere.

John Joe healed from Parkinson’s disease

Whilst having a healing service in the Foot Inn Burnfoot, we had to move into a larger room in the bar as there were so many came that night; our usual room was too small to hold so many that night. After preaching our usual salvation message and explaining the baptism in the spirit and offering it to all who would like to receive the Holy Spirit, we then moved on explaining healing so that the majority of these people have never been offered healing before, and probably didn’t know how to receive it.

Then we invited those who were ill to come and receive healing, the first person that came to me was a man named John Joe, a man suffering from Parkinson’s disease. John Joe told me that his wife and he were to go on a holiday to Spain the next day. I began praying with him and the Holy Spirit touched him healing him, and I began walking up the room and back down again with him; when we reached the top end of the room, he told me he still had some pain in his legs, so I prayed with him again and the pain left him; then we walked back down the room again and I was amazed at how fast he was walking now. John Joe had to use a walking aid to walk, and now he was walking without this aid. When I walked with him to his wife sitting waiting, she told me she had sciatica, but she was afraid to come for healing. I told her it was ok as quite a lot of people are afraid when they see God touching others.

The next person to desire healing was a woman called Agnes, and she also suffered from Parkinson’s disease, then I got an idea, and asked John Joe’s wife if she could help Agnes to walk up to where I had a chair sitting for those who have difficulty standing.

John Joe’s wife brought Agnes to the chair and helped her to sit down, I asked Agnes what was wrong with her and she replied she had Parkinson’s disease. I asked John Joe’s wife if she could put a hand on Agnes shoulder, and unknown to John Joe’s wife I prayed a healing prayer into her, then I turned to Agnes again and prayed with her commanding Parkinson’s disease to leave and all pain to get out of her and John Joe’s wife, instantly Agnes felt her healing, and then I asked John Joe’s wife how did she feel, did she have any pain? And to her amazement she replied, ‘’I have no pain, it’s gone,’’ and then she returned to John where he was sitting.

I met John Joe about a year and a half later in my town in a shopping centre, and he was almost running when I seen him, he recognised me and stopped,

and told me that they had a great pain free holiday and that he was feeling one hundred percent better and so was his wife, Praise the lord for he is good.

To get back to Agnes, I had her walk up and down the room, and she walked without her walking stick and she had no pain and could walk freely for the first time in years. And when I escorted her back to her friend sitting beside her, she told me when I offered her, her walking stick back again she didn’t want it or need it, and gave God glory and praise.

Amazingly the next person to come for healing also had Parkinson’s disease; but this lady was not healed, as I talked with her she had a lot of hatred issues and Unforgiveness against a lot of people, and she declared she wished she could shoot them. I explained to her that holding Unforgiveness or hatred and wished ill upon people was stopping her own healing; for God tells us to forgive others as he has forgiven us; she did receive a lot of ease in her pain level she told me, but just would not forgive those who hurt her. God showed how much he wanted to heal her when he was able to briefly touch her with her pain level, but she refused to forgive. And so got up and went back to her seat.

About four or five months later she came again to some of the healing nights we were having in the Foot Inn, and when she asked for healing, she exclaimed, she would even shoot Jesus for creating sex; she was a married woman by the way, and not a very happy one at that, again she did not receive any healing no matter how much I tried, her friends who came with her were healed from their sickness and diseases and pain, but she was adamant she would never forgive. And again she reinforced her desire to shoot Jesus, and others who hurt her.

This is one of the main talks that my partner Des Wallace my Son in law, in the healing ministry always gives, as he had a history of Unforgiveness, and shared how it hurt him mostly and not the people that done things on him

Mona healed from deafness and Parkinson’s disease

One night as we were having a healing service in the ‘’Foot Inn Burnfoot;’’ I witnessed three people carry a woman in and brought her up to the front of the room and sat her down, during the healing service I normally ask the Holy Spirit who is next, and as I done so, I felt to turn to this woman and called her up to the place where I was standing and had a chair waiting for those who could not stand, I watched as she got up unaided and made her way through her friends who were sitting beside her and she walked right up to me and stood in front of me. I asked her what was her illness, and she replied she had Parkinson’s disease, and as I began praying with her I spoke to her a few times and noticed she always turned to her granddaughter who was assisting her standing and asked what I had said.

Then I asked her if she had hearing problems and her granddaughter said, ‘she is deaf and was wearing hearing aids;’ so I felt led to ask her to remove them. As soon as she removed them I felt led to speak to her in a very low voice and she answered me; I tried a few more tests for her hearing and she answered perfectly; then I asked her directly, ‘’can you hear me’ in the lowest whisper I could say, and she replied, ‘’I can hear you perfectly sir;’’ she had just been healed from deafness. Then I continued, commanding Parkinson’s disease to get out, when the Holy Spirit brought to my attention that she had walked up to me perfect, and when I was commanding deafness to leave her she had stood perfectly still whereas before, she could not stand on her own, and I realised that she had already been healed the very moment she rose out of her seat.

I walked her up and down the room and I asked her granddaughter to let go of her arm, and turned her around and again we began walking through the room again and this time I let go of her and she walked perfect on her own. To which people began clapping and giving God his praise.

Chapter 12

John Bosco healed from Cancer

On the first night that Des and I had a healing service in the Foot Inn Burnfoot, I had placed a small add in the local paper and three people turned up; one a woman who suffered from shingles, her daughter and a man whom we found out suffered from Cancer.

I prayed with the lady first who informed me that she had shingles almost twenty years ago and had been left with a terrible pain in her side at the place where the shingles had ended about two inches away from connecting together, and she had been given all sorts of pain medicine but with no effect.

I laid hands on her and as I prayed with her she said her pain had just disappeared. Whilst I had been talking to her previously I noticed she kept turning to her daughter to ask what I has said, and now when she had returned to her seat I spoke to her and she answered me immediately, then I thought of something and I whispered her a question and she answered me immediately, I and then asked her daughter if her mum had any difficulty in hearing, and she answered, ‘she is almost deaf but won’t wear any hearing aids,’ then I spoke to her mother again in a low whisper and she answered me, much to her daughters amazement she hadn’t realised that her mum was now healed from deafness as well and her painful side, I told her family will have to watch everything they say about mum now, as she hears very well now. Lol

John Bosco then sat in the chair and I asked him what his sickness and he answered that he had cancer and cannot eat anything but water downed custard; so we prayed for him commanding his cancer to die, for a cancer has roots that need to be commanded to die before we can see healing, John came back to us about a month later to another healing night, and that night there was about forty people there and across the table from him sat a lady who had

been diagnosed with terminal cancer, and she was sitting with her hands on her head looking very depressed. John asked could he share something, and I told him go ahead; he stood up and said that, ‘’he could only eat custard’’ ‘’before he got prayed with,’’ now he can eat ‘’fish and chips and steak and spuds.’’ {Potatoes} I noticed that when John shared that he had cancer and was now healed, the woman was sitting up and looking amazed, she came forward for prayer and when she got prayed for and was healed there and then; that’s one of the reason that I am writing this book on healing. Then this lovely lady came back again and she always stood up and told people what God had done for her, and these testimonies are what encourages others in need of prayer that prayer works, and when people came forward for healing they were more expectant than they would have been, and healings just flowed.

Chapter 13-

Multiple miracles in the Foot Inn

In the Foot Inn in Burnfoot the lord blessed us and those people who came for healing, during our time there, and our time in the Bogside Inn, hundreds received salvation and baptism in the Holy Spirit and healings. Most of the miracles we witnessed were healing of pain in peoples bodies where they had suffered pain in for years and it was a joy to see people’s expressions when their pain disappeared. We witnessed multiple legs growing out and bodies that were twisted healed instantly.

Some of the miracles were very funny; one old lady came for healing, and as I prayed with her I noticed spots appearing on my arm as I was wearing a short sleeved shirt, and I seen them going further up my arm as I prayed with her, this lady was sitting with a blanked wrapped around her, then I saw the woman who had brought her to the service beginning to scratch her arm, and I saw spots on her arm like mine and I wondered what it could be; then the woman who brought her asked her, ‘’is that the dogs blanked she had wrapped around her?’’ And she said, ‘yes.’ The woman made a face to me behind the old ladies back and ‘’whispered fleas.’’ I was glad when she was finally healed. When I got home later on that night I stripped naked in my living room and put

all my clothes straight into the washing machine, lol, with Rose my wife shouting down to me don’t come to bed with those clothes on you.

Chapter 14

Woman with shaky hands healed instantly {christening]

I was asked one time if I could come and perform a dedication service for a father and mother in a place called Ballymoney; they wanted to have their little daughter dedicated to the lord which was strange to me for both parents didn’t want salvation, but they had a Christian friend, and because of this young Christian mans influence, they knew how important this would be for their little girl. And I was delighted to come and perform this service for the child. In case you think this would not be right, see the miraculous things the lord done during this service. The father and mother were brought up Catholic and I am sure that something happened to turn these parents off religion and not really God.

When I arrived at the place where I was doing the service the young Christian man introduced me to the parents, and an amazing thing was that the mother had been to my own home many years ago with her mother who was dying from cancer, and the lord had healed her mother who had died a year previous.

I began the dedication with the young man singing a few hymns first of all, and then I started the sermon and dedicated the child to the lord using the scripture where Mary and Joseph dedicated Jesus to the lord, as my scripture

for the dedication for the benefit for those who didn’t know anything about these things.

After the ceremony I was having a cup of tea when a woman approached me and asked ‘did I pray with people for healing,’ and I replied ‘yes I do.’ Asking me to come outside she introduced me to a man who had lost an inch and a half off his left leg and walked with a pronounced limp after an accident. It began to rain and most people made a quick retreat from the garden into the house, but some stayed in a gazebo and this is where this lady took me.

I sat the man down and laid hands on him and instantly the lord grew out his short leg the full Inch and a half that he had lost in his accident. The flesh and bone and sinews and muscle all grew to the full length, now this was different from the lord healing people whose hips were out of alignment and is healed by commanding the short leg to grow out and the pelvis correct itself, I have witnessed thousands of healings this way.

After praying with him he stood up, and with his mouth open in astonishment he said he could feel his leg and flesh growing, and then he told me he had no pain, and began jumping up and down on a little wall, and as he done this some of his friends shouted to him what was he doing, and he replied that he was healed, his two legs were the same length and his pain had disappeared, so word of his healing spread through the house and some others came for healing, one lady had problems breathing and she was healed instantly by the Holy Spirit, and in the name of Jesus. The Holy Spirit gave me words of knowledge for the people who were taking refuge in the gazebo, and they sat there in astonishment as with the words of knowledge as the Spirit gave they received their healing and sick bodies were instantly healed. I gave a brief explanation of receiving salvation, and some of those there gave their lives to the lord as they witnessed him healing their bodies.

Then a lady came to me with a glass of vodka in her violent shaking hand spilling more than she was drinking, and asked for healing, and I never assume what someone wants for healing by what I see, so I asked her what did she want healing for? And she said to me, ‘’are you f****** blind,’’ and I laughed and said, ‘’no I just don’t take for granted what I see.’’

The she said she had a disease that caused her body to shake uncontrollable and she had it for years, I sat her down with her glass in her hand, and asked the lord what way did he want me to pray with her, and he said, ‘tell her to stretch out both arms,’ she did and they were shaking terribly, then he said to

me, ‘touch her on the back of her neck.’ The very moment I touched her, her shaking stopped instantly, and in shock and astonishment she broke out into tears and thanked God, then she shouted out of her in thanksgiving to God. This healing was the most dramatic I had seen is quite a while.

After she had been prayed with, the people in the gazebo asked for healing as new people came to see what was going on, and they witnessed so many receive healing right in front of their eyes, the lord healed some people who needed emotional healing as I stepped away from the gazebo and walked a little away for their privacy, there were approximately twenty people that received healing of one kind or another but even better, all those that watched seen the lord God touching their friends, and so they became believers they seen God at work showing himself to those watching.

Chapter15

Child blind in one eye healed instantly

My church was having a healing service with one of their members from another church leading it, and as he begun the service, Granville Johnston a retired Pastor called me over to him, and said to me, ‘’go stand at the front and begin praying with people.’’ So I stood at the front of the church separate from the pastor, and a lady came forward for healing and before she could say what her condition was, the Holy Spirit gave me a word of knowledge concerning her illness; she had a bowel problem and was wearing a stoma bag and suffered pain in this area and had a few ladies problems which the Holy Spirit healed immediately, it happened so fast she was shocked, for she was a church member for years and had not seen anyone really be healed, never mind her own self now.

After her came a woman suffering from arthritis and was severely over weight, her ability to walk was very slow, as soon as I laid hands on her the Holy Spirit told me she needed to forgive people; so I explained the need to ‘forgive as Jesus forgave us,’ and she realised how wrong it is to hold Unforgiveness towards anyone, and repented, and as soon as she forgave those she was

holding a grudge against, her healing materialised and I took hold of her hand and I walked her across the front of the church and she walked with no pain; then I told her to run and she ran with me across the front of the church again, still no pain, Glory to God.

After her came some other people with normal pains and aches and the lord healed them.

Then I saw Pastor Granville trying to lay hands on a child being held in her big sisters arms and she kept pulling away from him; he turned around to me and motioned me to pray with the child, and he sent her sister over to me with her baby sister; she was about two years of age I’m not sure of her real age. Her two sisters came over to me and I spoke to the child, and made fun with her, so she was laughing away then I heard the Holy Spirit say place your hand at the base of her neck and suddenly a ball of divine energy materialised in my hand, I could feel it, it was about the size of a tennis ball but I couldn’t see it. So I placed my hand where the Holy Spirit said to, and as soon as I touched her neck the ball melted into her body, I felt it leave my hand and enter her.

I never ever had an experience like this before or again since that day. Anyway I looked at the child and I asked her sisters what was wrong with her, and they both said she is totally blind in one of her eyes. So I asked the eldest sister to cover her seeing eye and she done so, then I asked the child what was I holding in my hand and she replied, my booboo, [Her milk bottle] I realised that the lord had just healed her, so I had her sisters cover her good eye holding their hands over her eye making sure she could not see from out of the side of their hands, and I asked the child , how many buttons were on my shirt and she told me two, then I asked her some more questions showing to her sisters she had been healed, by naming all objects perfectly. This was an awesome healing for me, feeling that ball of power in my hand was awesome.

Woman healed from no sense of smell, the lord’s humour.

This reminded me of another time when God showed his sense of humour; I prayed with a lady who came looking for a healing; she had lost her sense of smell and taste, I prayed for her and the following week she came back again to testify to her healing.

She began by explaining that she was a nurse in an old folks home, and that she was married to a farmer, and after having lost her sense of smell and taste, she got a lift one morning last week in her husband’s lorry which was a slurry lorry, she suddenly received her healing as she smelt very strongly Cows dung, and she said she almost gagged from the smell, for now she could smell and also taste the slurry in her mouth.

This lady asked God why she had lost her sense of smell and taste and he replied to her saying, ‘’it was her mind that had closed these two senses down because she worked in an old people home and the smell of urine and poo used to turn her stomach and her mind switched off these senses to help her cope with the old folk.

In this book I am just sharing those miracles the lord has done, the ones that stand out better, for there are thousands of healings that I could testify of the lord healing, short legs, bad backs, and spinal problems, as well as sickness and diseases, like cancer, Parkinson’s disease and many, many more.

Chapter 17

God heals three sceptic men

I got a phone call from a man called Gerry {not his real name} he said he seen my leaflet telling of the healing in the Bogside Inn,; he told me he is an unbeliever and totally sceptic, but he would do anything to get rid of the pain in his body that he suffered from for years, and asked would there be any point in him coming? I told him what has he to lose, come in with pain go out with pain, and then he lost an hour of his time that’s all. But come in with pain and go out healed then he gained everything he desired, so he agreed to come. That night as we were about to begin the healing service, another couple of men talked with me and expressed their desire to be healed, but said they didn’t believe, they also were sceptic, but wanted to try anything because they were in so much pain.

After talking the salvation message and then the baptism in the spirit I invited all there to ask Jesus into their heart and then get baptised in his Holy Spirit, to which they all responded yes, and so after this invite I got them to open up to the gifts of the Holy Spirit and mainly speaking in tongues; to which all those there did.

First up for prayer was Gerry the sceptic; and as I prayed with him he stood resting in the spirit, and when I asked him if he had any pain he whispered no! he was being immersed in the power of the Holy Spirit and I stood beside him for a while waiting for him to come round again, but he was so deep in the presence of God I left him and asked for the next one to come forward for prayer, the next was another man who was also sceptic and as soon as I touched him he also was set free from pain and stood resting in the spirit, so I left him and called the next person up, and he was the third man who told me they were sceptic, he also was rested in the Holy Spirit and instantly healed. In the meantime Gerry came round and I asked him how he feels and he could only whispered in a voice which spoke of holding someone in awe, great!

Chapter 18

Girl with spinal bifida runs up the room

After praying with those men and the rest of those there in this first night in the Bogside Inn, a mother asked me to pray with her young daughter aged about fourteen who was suffering from spinal bifida, I talked with the girl and asked her what would she like God to do for her, and she replied she would like to be able to walk without her walking frame, and told me she could only

walk a few feet even with the walking aid. After talking with her and asking what she wished for God to do for her, I laid hands on her, and I felt the power of God go into her, I asked her to step out onto the floor of the bar, and I took her hand and said, ‘let’s walk the full length of the room;’ so we walked together up and down the room a few times, and while we walked; I told her we were going to run now, and she agreed, and the both of us ran up and down the long room and on the way back she said to me she had never been able to rise her head and would I ask God to help her, and I told her to lift up her head and trust the lord and she lifted her head up and ran for the first time with her head raised laughing and giving thanks to the lord as we ran together. God alone is the healer in everything; for he gave his son Jesus to sacrifice his life to take away our sins and to take upon his body our sickness and diseases. And it is all done in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Chapter 19

Man healed from deafness large hole in his ear.

On the third night that we had, a large number of people came for healing to the Bogside Inn, two girls left the meeting after they got prayed with; I cannot remember what they were healed of, anyway they left and went home to their father and came back again with him, and when it was his turn for prayer they brought him to me and sat him down; they explained to me he is deaf but can hear slightly in his left ear. I talked with him and seen they were right he could not hear me from his right side, so after prayer I put my hand into his right ear, and was shocked to find that my finger went into his ear to the depth of my second index finger normally all you can do when you put your finger tip into someone’s ear; all you can put in is to the tip of your finger, but my finger disappeared right into his ear and I was shocked to say the least then I commanded the deafness to get out and for his hearing to be made new again. I spoke to him in a soft voice asking him could he hear me, and he replied, ‘yes’ to the amazement of his daughters; who had told me he refuses to wear his hearing aids, I tried speaking even lower with my face turned away from him, asking him could he hear me and his reply was ‘perfect.’’ I tried different tests

like holding my hand over his left ear that he could hear a little with and again he heard everything I said, his daughter were delighted with the miracle God has done. Both ears were healed

Statement of power

I want to state quite categorically that I of myself can heal no one; I, like you, am an instrument in the hands of God’s Holy Spirit. I am a nobody and am barely known, I am not some great healer like those you see on God TV, I have written of these miracles to show you, that you also if baptised in the Holy Spirit have the same Holy Spirit that Jesus had, he is no different; for remember Jesus by his own human power could heal no one; he was just a man until baptised in the Jordan for the Holy Spirit to come upon him

The Holy Spirit is the one who offers you his gifts; he is the source of God’s power displayed through Jesus and through us God’s on adopted family; Jesus states quite clearly here that his power was from the Holy Spirit!

Now to get back to proclaiming the miracles that God’s Spirit done through his humble servant me;

Chapter 20

Toilet healings

Sometimes the lord has used me to pray with people when I am sitting on the toilet; God is not a respecter of people. Now I am not going to go into a defined details here in this short chapter, but there have been times when my

mobile phone has rang whilst I was sitting on the toilet, and someone would ask if am the man that does the healing, and I explain to them it is Jesus who heals and it is I who pray, And I would then ask them what they need healed from and they would tell me, and sitting there thanking God they cannot see me, lol I would command that illness or pain to get out of their bodies and they would receive their healing, thank me and then ring off. This has happened to a few times now, and I am nearly afraid to go to the toilet in case someone rings asking for healing; I shared this with you in case the same thing happens with you and it is no shame to pray with people whilst on the toilet, the important thing is they receive healing.

When I was just learning about the lord before I ever prayed with anyone, the lord spoke to me in middle of me having a piddle one morning when I had arisen with a bad frame of mind, when the lord spoke to me and said, ‘I could now chose to go down my stairs with this bad frame of mind, or I could decide to go down the stairs with joy in my heart,’ The decision was mine to make; so I finished piddling and tided myself up and stepped down my stairs and said, ‘I am going down these stairs with joy in my heart, ‘and by the time I reached the forth stair The joy of the lord came over me and I sailed about that day happy.

Deaf girl healed in the foot inn,

During the healing nights that we had in the Foot Inn Burnfoot a young girl of about twelve came over to me for healing and her mother called over to me ‘’she is deaf,’’ I talked with the young girl and I asked her what healing would she like and she replied, ‘’she is deaf.’’ So putting my hands over her ears I

commanded the spirit of deafness to get out, then I spoke to her and asked, ‘’can you hear me,’’ and she answered me, ‘’yes,’’ then her mother called she is wearing her hearing aids, so I asked her to remove them. Then I spoke to her again saying, ‘’say thank you Jesus,’’’’ and she did so, then her mother called over to me again and said, ‘she is probably reading your lips;’ so I again spoke to her in a very low tone and this time I covered over my mouth so she could not lip read, and asked her to thank Jesus for healing her and she thanked Jesus for healing her, I gave her other tests including turning away from her and she heard everything. Chapter 22

Woman healed of a twisted spine

A friend of mine asked me if I would come to Colerain to pray with a woman suffering from a bad back. I drove to my friend’s home and then she took me to this woman’s home and introduced me to the woman, who was moaning with pain. I talked with the woman for a brief time, when the Holy Spirit gave me a word of knowledge saying ‘’son in law,’’ I asked her if she held any Unforgiveness against anyone and she immediately answered me ‘’no!’’ At that moment her front door opened and her daughter and her son in law entered and he daughter called in a greeting to her; then the Holy Spirit inspired me to ask if she would make her son in law a cup of tea and she indignantly answered ‘’no’ I’d never make him a cup of tea after what he done. Then she told me he had left her daughter pregnant, and she would never forget that.

Then she informed me that she had been too many chiropractors, and had attended Barry Mc Guigan’s physiotherapist, this man Barry Mc Guigan was a famous champion boxer and this man she talked of was the best in Ireland, but none of them could help her; she told me the only way she could get up and

down her stairs was to crawl sideways. Then I informed her that she was holding bitterness against her son in law and that is why she is not healed. She was shocked when I told her that, for she didn’t realise that she was holding Unforgiveness, and I explained that forgiveness was a decision, and not a feeling, and then she said, ‘’I forgive my son in law’’ naming him, and instantly her pain disappeared, she was shocked to find her pain was all gone and her twisted spine straightened.

Then getting up and trying her body out by doing different exercises making sure her pain was gone. She then went out to her stairs and gingerly tried to go up them by walking, and was again shocked to see that not only could she go up them without pain, but that after a few attempts she could actually run up and down them. Forgiveness brings with it healing,

Chapter 23

Uncle healed from going blind not allowed to drive,

My uncle Hugh lives in the same street as myself, and one evening as I was driving past I got this feeling to stop and go visit for a while. When Kathleen my aunt answered the door she invited me in, and I came in and sat down and started talking with them, when Hugh said, ‘’say a wee prayer for me because I had an eye test and the driving inspection people told me they are going to take my licence away from me and it is our only way of getting about.’’

I said I will pray for you now and walked over to where he was sitting, and laid hands on him, and as I prayed with him he asked me where did I get my T shirt, and I said Geraldine my daughter bought it for me in Las Vegas, standing in front of him he read the inscription of my T shirt, which said Commander in Chief, and had words written in Latin. I thought nothing about it and finished praying with him, and went back to my seat, and high said to me he understood the meaning of the words in Latin and said, ‘’they mean the buck stops here.’’ We talked on a little while and it suddenly dawned on me that Hugh was able to read the Latin words which were very small and in a dark colour, and I asked him what did other words on my T shirt mean, and he read

them, then I asked him could he see them from across the room and he said I can seem as clear as a bell, and it dawned on us both he had been healed; so reaching for his bible he read out a passage without his reading glasses.

Giving glory to God he leapt up and came over to me and gave me a great big hug, and told me he had an eye test the following day for the driving test; to see if he will be disqualified.

I left and went on about my business giving thanks to God for having me stop for he wanted Hugh to receive his healing.

Two evenings later there was a knock at my front door and when I opened it I saw it was Hugh so invited him and he told me that he had the eye test done and his right eye was twenty, twenty vision and his left eye was nineteen twenty, How we rejoiced giving glory to our saviour and redeemer Jesus; He said the medical eye people couldn’t understand the change in his eyes for they were very bad at his last test; Hugh Is eighty One, and he left with them declaring he had perfect vision for a man of his age.

God is great and wondrous to behold; every miracle I see makes me realise how loved we are.

Chapter 24

Bahartins teeth healing

Two of our daughters lived in Turkey and married two Turkish men. Both of these men owned their own Restaurant, Alton owned the Ali Baba, and Musti owned Musti’s steakhouse. One of Altan’s partners was a man called Bahartins.

One night as we were meeting with Altan’s parents who lived in East turkey and as we were seated at our dinner table; we tried our best to converse with Altan’s parents who knew no English and we knew no Turkish, Bahartins leaned over the dinner table to leave our food down in front of us he let out a

very painful cry, I asked him what was wrong with him and he answered his teeth were rotted and his mouth was full of ulcers, and he was in terrible pain, and could do nothing about because the dentist could not take out the rotting teeth because of the ulcers and the teeth were causing the ulcers. Holding back from saying anything to him about prayer for healing I was thinking that Bahartins was a Muslim; then I heard the Lord say; these people are my people too.

When Bahartins came back to the table again I asked him if he would like a little prayer for his mouth; thinking he would say no because he was a Muslim I was surprised when he said yes, I reached out my hand and touched his mouth with my finger, when the lord healed him instantly as all his pain disappeared.

My In laws were sitting wondering what was going on so Bahartins told them Brendan’s God Jesus just healed him; they sure gave us a rare look from then on in.

Next morning as I went down to the restaurant to get my breakfast; Bahartins came over to me thanking me for his healing and told me he went to the dentist this morning and his dentist was shocked to see all the ulcers were gone, and so he took out the rotting teeth. Years later whenever I talk with Bahartins he always thanks me for praying for his healing and thanks Jesus.

I had made a music C/D with some Christian songs on it and some comedy songs as well, and my son in law Altan asked me for a copy because he liked it, so I gave him a copy only to come down into the village next day to hear my C/D playing as loud as it could go and it was one of the songs that I had written about Jesus Blaring out all through Yallikavack the village. Early in the morning the quietest time of the Day and this was a Muslim village, He played it all the time when he was working in his Restaurant.

A man in the village called Sasha was a good friend to my two daughters and Rose and I were back in Yallikavack for another visit, and I was in a shop when I saw Sasha walking through the village with a very badly shaped body he was also limping terribly bad and I could see from just looking at him that he was in agony. I came out of the shop and stopped him and asked him what had happened to him, and he replied he was in a bad car accident; I asked him if he would like a prayer for healing and he said yes; so I took him into the shop where I was buying some souvenirs, and asked the owner if he had a chair we could use.

In the shop there was the owner and one of his staff; and Sasha explained that I was going to pray for healing for him and the both of them stood and watched as I began praying with Sasha and I asked him where was his worst pain and he said his back and legs; so I prayed asking the Holy Spirit to heal him for he is a Muslim; even though the lord healed Bahartins a few nights before.

Within a few minutes the lord touched Sasha’s body and all his back pain left him, then he told me his leg pain was still there, so again asking the lord to touch him I prayed and again the lord healed his legs then he said he was in pain in another part so again I prayed and again his pain disappeared. Finally his body which had been all out of shape was put back into alignment and he jumped and danced and praised God, the owner of the shop then asked if I would pray with him as he had been in a car accident and had suffered whiplash; sitting him down I prayed with him and within minutes he was healed; then his worker asked for prayer with Sasha translating for me, and I was led by the Holy Spirit to place my hand on a particular part of his back and he asked how did I know it was here his pain was. Again the lord healed him. Word got out throughout the village that I was praying with people and the Christian God Jesus was healing them.

Sitting on the beach enjoying the evening sun a man came over to me and he was known as the seller of golden balls a delicacy that he sold from his little barrow in the village. My son in law Musti said to me he heard that you heal people and he is suffering from a bad back and asked could I pray with him please; so I told him of course, I sat him down and prayed with him for a few minutes, and he looked shocked as his pain disappeared, thanking me he got up and left. A little later the owner of the restaurant next to the Ali Baba came walking by with his wife and I seen he was limping and grimacing in pain; he stopped to talk with Musti and I called him over when he had finished talking, and asked him what happened to him and he said, ‘an accident;’ I asked him would he like a prayer for healing and he looking a bit bewildered said, ‘ok;’ so laying hands on him I prayed and the lord healed him, and he left going on his walk with his English wife. My daughters told me that people in the village were calling me ‘Prophet Brendan’ which I thought was hilarious.

God loves Muslims and calls them his own people, And I challenged this one time to the lord and said, why does he call Muslims his other children, and he showed me a scripture where it says I have other sheep in another fold; so I do not judge anyone’s religious beliefs, I leave that to the lord.

In these little stories I say I pray with people and they get healed; common sense tells me that I have no power but the power of the ‘’Holy Spirit’’ and the ‘’name of ‘Jesus’ the lord.’’ I may say I prayed simply because I did it wasn’t someone else so I want to make sure you the reader understand I can claim no credit for all these healings the glory alone belongs to our loving father God, Jesus and his Holy Spirit. And as I have said in this book before if you are baptised in the Holy Spirit then you also have that power and name to use to do the same as I have done.

Chapter 25

Boy healed from crooked feet

During one of our healing in the Foot Inn a young boy came to me for healing of crooked feet. He walked a little bit for me to show me how bad his feet were and he told me he was embarrassed because of this.

I sat him down and prayed with him, and the lord healed him and he got up and walked around the room for a few minutes; his feet were perfect now. Then I asked him to run as fast as he could go, and he run as fast as he could run and his feet were in perfect alignment; He was so delighted.

Chapter 26

Woman healed choosing her wedding dress

A friend of mine involved in the healing ministry called me one evening and asked I come to Colerain to pray with a young woman who was coming to her wedding dress shop to pick her wedding veil; she had already purchased her

wedding dress, and was praying that she could be able to walk around the shop.

A short time after we arrived at her shop and the girl arrived in her fiancées car; I was saddened when I opened the car door for her and seen that she had the seat laid down flat; because she could not sit up she was in horrific pain.

She got out of the car with the help of her fiancée and entered the shop with the help of Patricia the woman who owned the shop. Patricia introduced me to her and I invited her to sit down in the chair and began to pray with her; and thankfully the lord healed her there and then, so she was able to walk around the shop to pick her veil, and she left and put the car seat up straight to the shock of her boyfriend and drove away.

Almost a week later I was at a prayer meeting in a place called Dunloy and this young girl and her boyfriend came into the house, and I seen that the girl was in pain again, after the meeting had begun with worship and praise, it came to the time for praying with people, and the young girl sat down in the seat for prayer and I asked her what had happened and she told me that they had a rehearsal in the church for her wedding and it was freezing cold and the priest kept them there for nearly three hours standing and her back went out again.

I said, ‘forgive the priest for his thoughtlessness,’ so she did and as I began praying with her and asked everyone else to join with me in prayer; and praise his Holy Name the lord again healed her; she was getting married in the morning if I remember right.

I heard later the wedding went well and she was able to dance and enjoy her wedding; Jesus loves a wedding.

John 4:46 47 Living Bible

In the course of his journey through Galilee he arrived at the town of Cana, where he had turned the water into wine. While he was there, a man in the city of Capernaum, a government official, whose son was very sick, heard that Jesus had come from Judea and was travelling in Galilee. This man went over to Cana, found Jesus, and begged him to come to Capernaum with him and heal his son, who was now at death’s door.

Anton and Mary---Anton’s girlfriend tonight

At the Foot Inn one night, an elderly couple came in and sat down; we began the healing service in our usual way based on Mark 16 14 and in the course of the night Anton came forward for prayer, he told me that he cannot walk very well and his sister piped up and said he cannot climb the stairs into his flat he is in so much pain; Des and I prayed with him and before long he was testing his body out for all his pain had disappeared; he was ecstatic, and his sister was the same, for when she came forward for healing she was also healed by the lord. There is nothing more humbling than to watch God heal someone in pain through you; for you know without a shadow of a doubt that it had nothing to do with you, and all glory belongs to Jesus name and to the Holy Spirit and the Father who loves us and who gave us Jesus to die for our sins and to bear our diseases in his own precious body.

These two people came every night since then and always told everyone how Anton could not walk and is healed and all pain was gone and she would tell them about his hands that were crippled with pain and he would sit and hold his hands up and wriggle his fingers to show everyone he was healed, This was over a year ago now and last night I had a phone call from Anton and he told me he is still healed but could I say a prayer for his girlfriend, He tried to get her to come to the phone but she kept refusing then she gave in and picked up the phone and said hullo. I asked her where her pain was and she said in her fingers she had arthritis in her hand, after prayer she told me all of her pain was now gone.

God’s love for us is awesome.

I hear lots of Christians say I don’t have the gift of healing, and this ministry is not for me; I’m not led to lay hands on anyone. This is not true; for every single Christian who has Jesus as their lord and saviour, and are baptised in the Holy Spirit, are commissioned to go out into the whole world and preach the gospel, Cast out demons be baptized in the Holy Spirit, and lay hands on the sick and heal them, Mark 16 14

Do you know the first thing Jesus said when he appeared to the eleven disciples; well done lads’ great Job boys, or what did he really say, the first thing Jesus said to the apostles was, ‘’he rebuked them for their unbelief.’’ Don’t tell me that you haven’t been told to lay hands on the sick, or to share with others {preach} the gospel, ‘’it’s not your calling;’’ you’ll get the same rebuke as the Apostles got. If Jesus came back now what would he say to the

Christian churches? Well done you fulfilled my word; or you’re a bunch of disbelieving cowards, It is mostly fear that stops the Christian churches, fear that it won’t work and they would stand red faced; fear that if they laid hands on people they wouldn’t be healed. Today’s churches show no sign of any signs and wonders.

They don’t operate in any of the gifts, except for one church ‘’Freedom Centre;’’ It breaks my heart to see the churches here in my City filled with disbelief, sharing no sign of the miracles that Jesus said we would do and I doubt very much if Jesus would be pleased. If he would rebuke his disciples for their disbelief and they walked with him, what will he say to the churches today?

Mark 16 14 Living Bible (TLB)

This scripture is the very scripture that I stand on for praying with people for their healing; in this scripture there is no presumption of them having faith the

only thing I, or we, have to do is obey, go out into the world as far as we can go and preach, {tell people} the good news of Jesus forgiving them their sins, and asking for forgiveness; and then accepting Jesus into your heart as lord and saviour, Next we tell them the need of the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and receive all of this. Then ‘’I, or we, and You,’’ can walk boldly in trust; or if you want to call it faith in the living word of God trusting him that he will heal those who come seeking his healing.

In many other scriptures there are conditions applied, some say ‘if you have faith,’ then God will do something but it is not applied in this scripture so I never need to be afraid to step out expecting God to fulfil his word. People don’t need to have faith except me and all I have to do is preach the gospel and then God has to come and heal people. It’s that simple.

Chapter28

Man healed from polio

I had almost forgotten these next two testimonies of God’s greatness. I brought a priest involved in the healing ministry to Ireland to have healing services throughout Ireland.

When I took him to Sligo to have a healing service, Fr Robert De Grandis {Fr Bob} sent his sister Dottie down to me where I was standing against a wall, listening to him preach. Dottie said to me, ‘’Fr Bob asked if I had ever given a tongues workshop, to which I replied yes,’’ so she went back to Father Bob, the next thing that happened was, Fr Bob made announcement that the man in the Blue shirt standing against the wall, and pointed to me said, ‘’this man is an expert in the baptism in the Spirit and getting people into speaking in tongues.

He then asked me to go to a large room on the opposite of the hall, and so I went to where he showed me to go and stand at the door; He then told everyone that if they want to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, to go now to me into this room. I was shocked to see about two hundred people get up out of their seat and made their way to where I was standing, Fr Bob was also shocked he told me afterwards; for he was left with about one hundred people to listen to him. When all the people had made their way into this large room I panicked and asked the Lord what am I going to do, for up till now I had only got about twenty people baptised In the Spirit and speaking in tongues.

As I said, I asked him what to do and he told me to ‘’explain about receiving the Holy Spirit and about tongues and why we need his Spirit,

I just told them

in a very simple way, that they being Catholic made their Conformation when they were just children and didn’t know really they were supposed to understand what they were really doing, and it was supposed to the Holy Spirit the third person of the Holy Trinity they were receiving but all they thought was how much money they would get, and all agreed with me, So I asked them would they like to receive the Holy Spirit now, and they all said yes. I explained to them that I would pray first for them to receive the Holy Spirit and then I would begin to pray in tongues and I asked them to begin to try and copy me as I spoke in tongues; I gave them a brief example of speaking in tongues, so they could hear the different languages the Holy Spirit gives us, and the next thing was every one of them began speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit fell on them, after about ten minutes of them speaking in tongues I asked them if they all got tongues and they all said yes except for this little lady.

She said she only got three words, and as she was speaking to me the Holy Spirit said to me to call her up to the front with me; and as she made her way through the crowd, the Holy Spirit said to ask is there anyone here in pain, so I asked them was there anyone here in pain and a large man put his hand up; this man was huge, he towered over me and the little woman.

When the woman got to me I sat the man down in a chair, and then under the inspiration of the Spirit, I asked this woman to lay hands on this huge man; he was over six and a half foot and almost as broad as he was tall. And he told us he was in severe pain in his upper back, and also his legs. I positioned the woman in front of him and asked him to stretch out his enormous hands and we saw that one arm was about three inches shorter than his other one. Then I told the woman to touch his hands gently and to pray in her three words of tongues, and after a few minutes the man said all his pain in his upper back was gone. Then I bent down to catch hold of the man’s shoes to show this lady what to do; and when I tried to lift them I couldn’t, his legs were enormously heavy, so looking up at her I told her to touch my shoulder and to pray for this man whose legs I have hold of, after a few minutes he declared all his pain was gone, to the shock and amazement of this lady and everyone elseI told this giant to test his pain and see if it was all gone, I said to do things he could not do before and he stretched and bended over and did all sorts of exercise and smiling said he has no pain anywhere; then to my shock he rolled his trouser legs up and unhooked a pair of callipers from each leg; and he told me he had polio as a small child and could only walk with the aid of these callipers. If I had known this beforehand I might not have been so cocky. I was

in awe of God, after he was healed a woman came up to me and asked me to pray with a young girl who had a serious car accident years ago and was in serious pain.

I told everyone that I was supposed to only pray with them for the baptism in the spirit and tongues, and it was Fr Bob that was doing the healing, But I relented because in the other room Fr Bob was still speaking; so I sat her down and asked everyone to pray in their tongues with me and they will see a miracle performed through them.

Luke 4Living Bible (TLB)

38 After leaving the synagogue that day, he went to Simon’s home where he found Simon’s mother in law very sick with a high fever. “Please heal her,” everyone begged.

Standing at her bedside he spoke to the fever, rebuking it, and immediately her temperature returned to normal, and she got up and prepared a meal for them!

40 As the sun went down that evening, all the villagers who had any sick people in their homes, no matter what their diseases were, brought them to Jesus; and the touch of his hands healed every one! 41 Some were possessed by demons; and the demons came out at his command, shouting, “You are the Son of God.” But because they knew he was the Christ, he stopped them and told them to be silent.

Two thoughts here to contemplate; one is the joke among Christians is this is the reason that Peter denied Jesus; ‘’he healed his mother in law.’’

And the other serious thought is, did you notice Jesus never asked his father ‘’if it be thy will heal these people;’ he rebuked sickness, and demons and the touch of his hand healed every one; there was nobody left out.

When you read where Jesus healed the multitudes you will see it says he healed ‘’them all.’’ He never left anyone suffering, and something else did you consider that everyone in those multitude were all good people, or did common sense tell you that in those days as in these days, there were probably thieves adulterers, murderers, child molesters, and all sorts of creeps and disgusting people and he healed them all; by the way a multitude mostly means thousands of people. And Jesus touched them all with his hand, Jesus is inside us in our whole spirit and his hands are our hands also, so you are told to lay hands on the sick knowing it is his hands inside you.

The greatest miracle that I ever seen and I were used by God isn’t that awesome; God works a miracle and he uses us to do them through us, that’s pure love in action.

Chapter 29

Young girl healed through the miraculous touch from God

I was given the all clear from one of the folk in the room with me that Fr Bob was finished speaking; so I led everyone out of the room and into the main room and went to get some lunch as it was now lunchtime. As I was walking towards the front door I spotted a young woman waving frantically to me at the front of the room and as she ran through the seating her face consumed with the loveliest smile I had ever seen; her face was just glowing with a beautiful golden sheen, and as she got closer I recognised her as the young girl that got healed in the other room. When she got to me she told me that she was totally healed, and I smiled and said God sure loves you, yes but you don’t know what happened to me; I said yes the old lady told me you were in a car accident a bad one at that. Yes she replied but what she didn’t tell you is that ‘’every bone in my body was broken and I have steel rods in all of my body,’’ and so I am not supposed to be able to bend any part and she wiggled her fingers and showed me every exercise she could think of, she had rods in her arms preventing them from being flexible, and rods in her legs doing the same thing, and here she could move very part of herself.

I was shocked and in awe of what the lord could do; her steel rods or titanium rods I cannot remember which it is so long ago, but because of the age of this miracle I would safely say steel rods but they seemed to have disappeared. God is amazing if I had known either of those two healings I doubt that I would have believed either of them.

To us everything is impossible but with God in us nothing shall be impossible. But the most amazing thing about this scripture is that it tells us with God {in us} nothing shall be impossible; we are filled with the Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and so we have the power of almighty given to us a gift from our heavenly to do the things he has designated for us to do and all we need is truth in him no matter what ever happens

To our living God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, is all glory, honour, and praise.

Chapter 30

Nun healed from Idolatry as she repented as well as me

I had a phone call from a nun friend of mine a Sister Augusta Maria saying one of her nuns was going down to Derry to visit Altnagavin Hospital to be fitted with a neck brace for they told her she is soon going to be paralyzed; for the damage to her body is reversible. I was to meet with this sister in a local convent after she returned from Altnagavin at one –o clock. As I was getting ready to go visit her gun battle raged across my street for a while; soldiers were being shot at by the IRA, and they were returning fire. This was during our time of troubles.

After the shooting was over I went out to my van and drove towards the soldiers and as usual I got stopped and questioned, then told to go on. I always pray in tongues every time I get into my vehicle, and especially when I am going to pray with someone.

I arrived at the convent where I was to meet the nun, and I could barely hear myself think because workmen were digging up the road outside the convent. One of the nuns opened the door and showed me a room where I was to met with the sister, a few minutes later the sister arrived and sat down; she informed me that she had been told she will be in a wheelchair very soon because of her illness; and she was also was wearing a collar to support her neck. As I talked with her I could barely hear what she was saying because of the noise of the workmen using a kango gun to dig up the street; after she had

finished telling me her ailments. I started to pray with her, but first I began by apologising for being late because of the shooting, she jumped upright in her chair and shocked me by asking; ‘’did we get any of them?’’ I was stunned because I never expected to ever hear this from a Nun, and replied, ‘’I don’t know.’’

Just them the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, ‘’tell her she needs to repent of Idolatry!’’ then he said, ‘’and so do you!

To explain a little here about what the Holy Spirit was talking about; I have sworn an allegiance to the IRA when I joined up with them; and swore to take life by the shedding of blood as part of my oath, {it is so long ago I don’t remember the exact words used then} so when the Holy Spirit said to me to tell her to repent of her Idolatry and then said and so do you. Shocked I told her what the Holy Spirit had said to me, and she looked as shocked as I was, as I felt the Spirit telling me to explain what it means to make a blood covenant, it was idolatry; the worshiping a false God.

After explaining that I had been a member of the IRA, she was more willing to listen to me, as I explained that taking a life is sinful, and desiring to hear of someone taking someone’s life is just as sinful. It was our support of people with a blood covenant that made it Idolatry; God considers a blood covenant extremely important; as he made a blood covenant with us through his Son shedding his blood for us.

Well both she and I repented before God together, asking for forgiveness of our ignorance to what we supported.

Then she moaned about her neck as she felt a pain in it. I reached up to touch her neck but missed the spot where I was aiming for and instead touched just behind her ear, and she instantly shot upright and said to me ‘’she can hear,’’ I could barely hear as the noise outside was so loud, then she told me she was deaf in her right ear all her life but now she could hear; thanking God I went on and prayed for her total healing, telling her to only take off her neck brace when she felt it was ok to do so; she informed me she lay on wooden boards with no pillow to help her back and neck.

I then left and asked her to keep in touch.

She didn’t, but my friend Sr Augusta later informed me what was happening with her; she told the nuns she was healed but refused to take her collar off just yet; almost a week had passed when Sr Augusta phoned to say she had

removed her collar, after taking it off for a few hours in her room with no pain or discomfort in her neck and no pain at all. So she now felt it was ok to show her other nuns that God had healed her.

After about two or three weeks I’m not sure; Sr Augusta phoned to say the sister had been to hospital and the doctors were baffled as she had nothing wrong with her back and other former problems; everything had disappeared. And now she was proclaiming glory to God for healing her. God is good and doesn’t mind teaching us when we go wrong.

Chapter 31

The Old blind Nun

This last story is a different kind of story; I remembered it because I was writing about the sister, who had been healed through repenting with me. I was in Drumalis retreat centre visiting my dear Friend Sr Augusta Maria and we were sitting chatting having a cup of tea, when we heard a commotion going on outside and someone screaming I’m blind; Sr Augusta excused herself and went off to find out what was going on. A little later she came into me and said one of the old nuns had gone blind who was working in the garden, and asked would I say a prayer with her, I answered ‘of course’ so she went out and brought in this old Nun bent over almost to the ground who was holding in one hand a small shovel and in her other had a bunch of weed, from where she had been working in the garden, Sr Augusta introduced her to me and said Brendan will say a prayer with you; and she left. As soon as Sr Augusta left the old nun blessed herself weeds in her hand, then proceeded to make her confession to me, I tried explaining that I wasn’t a priest but to no avail for no one prays for healing except the priests; anyway I blessed her and finished, and said lets pray with you, Just at that the Holy Spirit prompted me to look down at her hands and I seen they were covered in much then I Bent down and looked at her, then I felt led to ask for her glasses, on her face. When I got her glasses in my hands I saw that they were cover in muck, so I cleaned them and gave them to

her and of course she could see again, then she started to thank God for healing her eyesight, until I stopped her and told her it was just that her glasses were covered in muck that she couldn’t see, she was shocked and took off her glasses then put them on again, and she cried with embarrassment that she caused this fuss and it was just muck and not going blind.

Then she said something to me that shook me to the core; ‘’please don’t tell the Nuns it was just muck,’’ and I swore that I never would till after she had died.

Then she thanked me and got up and when she opened the door all the Nuns were waiting outside to see what would happen to her. She shocked me some more for she began shouting at the top of her lungs; ‘’I’m healed, praise the lord I’m healed.’’ I almost wet myself with laughing, and I kept my word, I never told this story until after she passed away.

God loves a sense of humour.
