What was the true nature of Jesus Christ like?

I have written a book called “The true nature of the Born Again Christian,” and in it I tell people to put on the true nature of Christ Jesus, as scripture tells us, that we have to learn that ‘we no longer live,’ ‘not I but Christ Jesus who lives in me,’ as St Paul declared, and the new person in me is the person of Christ Jesus, but I realised that not everyone who reads my little books, { and I am so grateful to everyone who reads what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me} understands the word of God the Bible. So I am writing this as a follow up to help those not used to reading the bible. I want you to see for yourself the true nature of Jesus; most see Jesus as a meek man and he was but he was one of the strongest personalities who ever lived and he tells us Christian’s to put the same nature he had on us.
As I wrote that book, I went through the most horrible time, my old nature rose up with a vengeance and I was grumpy bad tempered, sarcastic and generally hateful, and could cause a row in an empty house; until I finally came to my senses and got down on my knees and asked God to give me that grace he gives to put on the nature of Jesus. I awoke next morning feeling the most pleasantest person there ever could be I was in total peace with myself and calm, and when my Father in law almost choked to death later in the day in my home, even passing out unconscious and stopped breathing, Inside I simply asked , ‘Father what do I do?’ And the Father told me, and I was able to calmly bring my father in law round again, and get him breathing again, he is ok now and doesn’t even remember what happened to him.
I realised how easy it is to say ‘put the nature of Jesus on,’ and ‘how difficult it is to do so,’ because it comes on by grace and by grace alone asking with a sincere heart and submission to God the Father.
Romans-7-4-So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God. Look at this line in the above scripture; “and now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead.”
We must first understand that we are united to the one who was raised from the dead, and who was that? Jesus! We are united to him because of his death; he did it in some supernatural way that is almost beyond our understanding. Because we are united to him we can do everything he could, united means to join something together as one, to be merged, to become one as fused together. If you weld two pieces of metal together they become one piece, they were originally two different pieces but now have become one piece by the act of fusing or welding them together. And that is exactly what God done joined us together with Jesus as one person, something only God could do.
Now that we understand that we are one with Jesus, let us move on to become aware that we have the same nature and ability as him because we are now one with him because of the act of uniting us together by God.
What was the true nature of Jesus Christ like?
TwoLet’s begin to look at his nature, and remember that as we read of his nature that because we are joined together as united we have that same nature in us also, not a portion but the full measure.
Matthew -4-1-Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. 2 For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry. Jesus was obedient, his nature was to obey the leading of God’s Holy Spirit, even if it meant going hungry or to being tempted just like us, in every way. People think that Satan just tempted Jesus, about food, but he probably tempted him in every issue that a human being could or would ever face in their lifetime; because it says in another scripture; Jesus was tempted in every way, so that he could understand what we go through.
Matthew -4-23- 23 Jesus travelled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. 24 News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick; And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—he healed them all.
It was in the nature of Jesus to heal people, this is just one scripture that I will use because it says he healed them, many Catholics and protestant religion believe that is not God’s will to heal everyone, and chooses some special people to suffer for others but this scripture contradicts that way of thinking.
Matthew-5-21- “You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’ 22 but I say, ‘if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment!’ If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell.
Jesus was not afraid to expand on the Law. He added to it and said, “But I say.” Jesus was confident in his Father not to get offended if he expanded the laws of God the Father.
Matthew-7-1-“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2 For you will be treated as you treat others The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged
Jesus himself said he didn’t come to judge the world, John-3-17.
Matthew -8-8-But the officer said, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed. 9 I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this,’ they do it.”
Jesus had authority it was born into his nature he knew who his Father was. You have the very same Father. This Roman soldier knew what it was like to live under authority and to have the authority over the men under him as he was an officer, and any officer in any army have men under them that do what they say even if they say clean the toilets with a toothbrush, those men under him have to be obey, or suffer severe punishment, Jesus gave us his authority and he is over every name on all of creation.
Matthew 8-16- That evening many demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a simple command, and he healed all the sick.
Jesus had power and authority over demons it was in his nature, he didn’t need to ask for the power or authority from God it was built into his nature and at this point his nature wasn’t divine, he surrendered that to come to earth as a human being.
Matthew -9-35-Jesus travelled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Jesus had compassion built into his nature; he felt sorry for the people he pitied them.
Matthew -11-20- 20 Then Jesus began to denounce the towns where he had done so many of his miracles, because they hadn’t repented of their sins and turned to God.21 “What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! Forif themiracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse. 22 I tell you, Tyre and Sidon will be better off on judgment day than you.
23 “And you people of Capernaum, will you be honoured in heaven? No, you will go down to the place of the dead. For if the miracles I did for you had been done in wicked Sodom, it would still be here today. 24 I tell you, even Sodom will be better off on judgment day than you.”
Jesus wasn’t afraid to be straight and honest with people he laid it right on the line with no diversions or trying to make it nice for those listening.
Jesus was also filled with love, filled with goodness and mercy, forgiveness was in his nature. He was a man confident with himself; he was not this mild mannered meek little Jesus we think he was, he was even more, there is nothing meek about walking toward the very town or city that was planning to execute you and torture you with a terrible form of torture, there is nothing meek about walking into the Pharisees hands, standing there silent before them when he could have spoken a word and they would all have burned up. Or angels would have rushed to his rescue.
This was a man stronger than any human being to date, who chooses beforehand the kind of death he would face, and remember he knew the Old Testament better than the scribes and
Pharisees. He knew from scripture what kind of death he would face and he deliberately walked all the way into it for “us.” This was an act of pure unadulterated love, forgiveness, mercy, and tenderness, and courageous, beyond anything I believe that anyone could do for humanity.
This was not the action of a meek man but a man filled with strength and power and most of all love, because he done all this for you and me.
When Jesus died on the cross he took every sin that the human race would ever sin from the beginning when he created Adam and Eve to the end of creation when ever that will be. No human beings sins were left out; he took the lot on to his lashed, beaten bloodied body, he took every depravity, every indescribable foul evil sin that a man or woman would commit and along with all that he took all the sickness and diseases of the world on to his body by an act of his will. This was a pre-planned decision that he and the Father decided before the world even begun, because he seen that what they created would not be faithful to him because Satan the devil would work in their lives to destroy any chance of salvation for them.
That nature is the person of Jesus Christ; what you seen him do and heard him say in the Bible, is who he is, that is his nature.
If you were to think for a little while, “Guilt,” is invisible but carries an awful weight with it, a weight so heavy that people have committed suicide because of it. The mental homes are filled with people suffering from guilt of one form or another; {a physiatrist said one time, “if they find a cure for guilt, the mental homes would be emptied.”} now think- if you carried all the guilt that every human being suffered what would it weigh? You would never be able to bear it, and remember it is invisible, you cannot see it but by God you can sure feel it, and also remember that Jesus carried that entire burden on his bloodied body as he hung there on that cross on Calvary, this was not the nature of a meek little man, he was more like Clarke Kent, in Superman, he had a different side to him that we don’t look at too often.
That same meek man Jesus took a whip and whipped all the money changers and crooks out of his Father’s Temple, overturning their crooked scales and money tables and chasing their cows and sheep and animals out of the Temple. Try you going down to your local cattle market and supermarket and try and whip people out who are charging too much to the poor people. You would get kicked up and down the aisles and street. It takes courage to do what Jesus done, they carried swords and knives openly in those days, they could have hacked him to bits in seconds, yet he wasn’t afraid of them. He was a strong willed man. Yet the same man called the little children to him and gave the disciples a dressing down when they chased away the little children from him. we see a softness and a gentleness and a man driven by courage to challenge those religious leaders of that time, and those same religious leaders could have him killed and eventually when he decided that it was time for him to die he surrendered himself willingly into their evil hands.
A man of tremendous character of grace and tenderness, things moved him deeply, things like people sick, people demon possessed, a dead son of a widowed mother. A mother in law, Peters, {no wonder Peter denied him. ha, ha, ha}
Jesus was angry when a man with a withered arm was in the Temple and the religious leaders were plotting to have him arrested if he healed this man, and Jesus got very angry at them, and healed the man anyway. Jesus wasn’t afraid of his anger, because anger is not sinful, anger leading to rage is. Jesus knew his own personality his own nature and his nature said to heal this man because the man needed healing. The man didn’t even ask Jesus to heal him, Jesus said to him stretch out your arm, and the man obeyed his command, because he had authority in his voice, and so he was healed.
I could write and write different things about the nature of Jesus but if you read your bible, you would see his nature in action, with every move he made for yourself and that is better than me telling you.
I believe that people should read the word of God for themselves and see if what I write is true or not and if it contradicts the word of God, then it is not from God and you should dismiss my book.
I believe that I am inspired to write on the different subjects that I write on and sometimes I seem to write the same things again, and I do, because God wants to make things even more clearer to theperson who had begun reading my littlebooks, and to me, and as long as theHoly Spirit gives me revelation then I will add it to my books as he does.
Study hard to learn the word of God because these are evil times and we need to be better prepared to face the enemy when he attacks us. Amen
