Why are you worried about things that happen?

Brendan Mc Crossan.

Psalm-139-16-Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them. {Amplified Bible}

We get worried and stressed out by circumstances that happen in our everyday life and we don’t trust God to take care of us, we even think he doesn’t listen to us, or care about us, but that is all a lie told to us by our great enemy the devil. If you read and re read this scripture you will clearly that God knows everything about you, he even knows what you’re going to say before you even say it; he sees your problems and he sees the answer he provided for us, he knows the very moment you will draw your last breath, he knows everything and has already provided for you if you just trust him and believe him. believing is faith, and faith is doing something not just sitting there doing nothing, if you believe what God had written in his word for you, you would praise him when tragedy struck between your tears and grief, you would know that he knew bad things would happen in this world that Satan runs around in causing death disaster and sickness and disease and God knew the answer you needed for whatever problem you would ever encounter in life. Every day was recorded in his book of your life before you even came into this world.

Psalm-139-OLORD,youhavesearchedme[thoroughly]andhaveknownme.2Youknow my sitting down and my uprising; You understand my thought afar off.3You sift and search out my path and my lying down, and You are acquainted with all my ways. 4For there is not a word in my tongue [still unuttered], but, behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.

God knows my every move even before I make a move even before I know which move to make God knows my every move; he knows the paths I am going to travel on, the right ones and the wrong ones when I go my own way instead of going his way which is his perfect will for me, his permissive will allows me to travel down wrong paths but he doesn’t want me going down these roads but wants me to follow his direction; and if after I go down wrongful paths he is there to correct what I done wrong, this is love in action, true love that allows me to do my own thing and then come along and fix the mistakes I made.

Romans -8-28- 28And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.29For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to becomeconformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

Look at the significance of these two scriptures this one and the next one. The words highlighted are the most important words in these verses, God works for good to those who love God and are fitting into his plans {purpose}. We need to be fitting into God’s plans

for our lives not just doing our own thing; God’s kingdom is of the utmost importance not our own little kingdom. Doing what God wants us to do is vital to God changing everything to good for us later on. Doing whatyou wantdoes notfitthis category atall. Weknow deep down when we are doing what God wants us to do, the Holy Spirit is leading and guiding us continually, and we know when we are not at peace, were doing our own thing; because peace is the only thing that the devil cannot copy because there is no peace in him.

Now note the scripture in red and underlined; those whom He foreknew, here God’s word says he knew us already, he knew beforehand, in fact scripture tells us that he knew us from before he even made the world, Ephesians -1-4, God knows everything about us beforehand and knows everything we will ever do on this earth, but amazingly God has two plans that fit into the one plan, one he allows us to do our own thing and two he wants us to do what he would like us to do, it’s called free will. One plan of God is the perfect will of God; the other plan of God is the permissive will of God. God lets you sin, does he want you to sin? Perfect will says no sinning; the permissive will allows you to sin.

Now look at the next few words coloured and underlined. He also predestined predestined means to be preordained, destined, and predetermined, It is going to happen. That means he knew what he was going to do with us by guiding us into his perfect will, first to get us into heaven through our accepting Christ Jesus as lord and then have us do the works that he has laid out billions of years ago, those works no one else can do but us, they have been assigned to us alone.

For an example Jesus went about healing people, and often he went into the temple to preach through the gate beautiful, and he passed a crippled man lying there, but he never healed him, Peter Healed him later on after Jesus had died. God had predestined Peter to heal this man not Jesus. In the same way he has predestined good things for our lives, and time you may feel that nothing is happening for you, know for fact that God has your life already planned out for you.

So for me personally, there are times when I feel like nothing is happening, I am praying with no one for healing, and then other times I am run off my feet praying with people and the lord heals most of them. So when dry times come along I have to wait upon the lord, waiting until whatever he has planned comes into its perfect timing, and it is in these times I do most of my bible reading and studying and writing books as I am inspired by the Holy Spirit to do so; there are other times when I sit in front of my computer wanting to write some great idea that came to meand I find thatit was justmy greatideaand I can’t writeabout it probably becauseI don’t know enough about the subject of my great idea. I too have to learn to wait upon the lord and as scripture say in Isaiah 40-31.

Isaiah-40-31-But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

Sometimes we just have to wait until the season for the things God has planned for our lives comes into season. Tomatoes won’t ripen until it is the right season and it’s the same with any fruit or flower or plant each in its own season. I planted a lot of flowers in my gardens and I planted them all at the one-time, but different flowers bloom at different times from the others, and in turn the others blossom in season just like the things God planned for us in due season.

None of the flowers bloomed all at once each in its perfect right timing blossomed, and each one of us will blossom in the right timing in Christ Jesus. When things go wrong and things will go wrong, God is there helping to correct those wrong things and change them later on to good for you who love him and do his will, but all in God’s timing, we have to learn to wait on the lord and just keep trusting him no matter what is happening to us. Trusting him with our lives is what makes the difference between defeat and victory. Knowing God knows what he already decided from billions of years ago and hasn’t forgotten is what gives us the comfort that we know. I trust in you should be our constant theme and praise. Disaster strikes, I trust in you lord; knowing you will be there to help me and later to turn that disaster to good is what gives me the strength to carry on, I trust in you. This next scripture tells us the same as the previous one, he has foreordained chosen and appointed us beforehand in according with his purpose

Ephesians-1-11- In Him {Jesus} we also were made [God's] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will,

Here in the next scripture God’s word says he chose us in him before the creation of the world, before he even made the world we now live in.

Ephesians-1-3- 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 in him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9 he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfilment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. 11 in him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit and are guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession— to the praise of his glory.

The purpose of his will not my will be done but thy will be done in me when you decide lord.

God has my life planned out and knows every minute detail, he knows everything, that he has planned for me and those plans are for good and not for evil to give me a future and a hope. Then why am I stressed out when things don’t work out as I planned them? God wants only good for me, his plans are to give me hope and to prosper me, that means to make me wealthy enough to live on in abundance, prosper means to make money, to live in the black and not the red, to give me a future which he has already mapped out for me, how lucky I am to have someone go to all the trouble of working out my life for me and to work it out to prosper me and give me a good future with God himself in heaven for eternity. Being prosperous is great but what is prosperity without salvation, the greatest treasure of all; to live in unbelievable joy in heaven eternally. That is the end of God’s plans for us, to enter heaven and spend it eternally with him in the greatest joy you could ever imagine. And he wants to fill in the in between bits with joy also. He is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega, and all in between, he is everything and we are everything in him. all we need do is praise him continually, thinking of his great plans and giving thanks for every plan that succeeds in your life.

Jeremiah 29-1- For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plan’s to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12Then you will call on me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord.

Psalm-139-16-In your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them. {Amplified Bible} Trust God, the one thing Jesus asks of us is to trust him, and trusting is a decision not a feeling, and decision based on trust is faith in action. God knows my beginning in heaven and he knows my everlasting life when I die from this body, and he knows my every in between bits, so why should I worry about my ministry or life if he has laid out before me his plans and the works I shall do, in their appointed time. So should I get annoyed that I am doing nothing right now, or what seems to me is nothing, just studying the word of God? Perhaps that is all he wants from me right now, so I should be thanking him for what is coming next while I build my spirit up in his word. Perhaps you who read my little books are benefiting from them as I take this time aside with the lord and wait on my next assignment, so in reality there is no time wasting with the lord everything I do is working for the good of the body of Christ. I was amazed to see my little books have been read at this time 24-05-2011 and there are 10,096, and I never put my books up on the world wide web, I just let people pass the address on to others, and placed it into the hands of God who knows who will benefit from what he has taught me.

I never dreamed that I would write Christian teaching books and children Christian books either but I have written over 186 books to date and I have more that are in the pipeline. God’s plans are great and you fit into God’s plans you who read my little books because God drew you to read them so that you could grow in the spirit and do amazing things for him. Who can know the mind of God, nothing we do is ever wasted, that we do for Christ Jesus to further his kingdom.

Two

The word says that there are good works assigned to me from before time began, John -14-11-I“am giving you” the “same work” to do that “I've been doing.” You can count on it. {NIV Bible}

John14-11- 11-14"Believe me: I am in my Father and my Father is in me. If you can't believe that, believe what you see—these works. The person who trusts me will not only do what I'm doing but even greater things, because “I, on my way to the Father,” “am giving you” the “same work” to do that “I've been doing.” You can count on it. From now on, whatever you request along the lines of who I am and what I am doing, I'll do it. That's how the Father will be seen for who he is in the Son. I mean it. Whatever you request in this way, I'll do. {The message Bible]

Look at this scripture see the amazing promise from Jesus himself, and there is only one condition in this promise, trust Jesus. The person who trusts me will not only do what I'm doing but even greater things, because “I, on my way to the Father,” “am giving you” the “same work” to do that “I've been doing.”

What work was Jesus doing before he died, well that is the same work you have been assigned to do also, he is giving you and me the same work he did and he even raised the dead, and so will you because it is the same work; he preached the kingdom of heaven and he healed the sick, he delivered people from Satan’s power and raised the dead, he didn’t do anything else apart from that, not that I can see any. He didn’t come to build a church or start a religion but to bring a new way of life. And that is the same work God has prepared for us, and he says to believe in him is to do the work of God, believe means trusting not just believing in something you can see but in what you can’t see ahead or present even. In this next scripture God says he has us where he wants us, and he has all the time in the world to shower down grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish!

Ephesians-2-7- 7-10 Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish! We don't play the major role. If we did, we'd probably go around bragging that we'd done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing. {The Message Bible}

Isn’t it great that God has us where he wants us? And he is in no hurry, unlike us to shower down on us grace and blessings and kindness, if this doesn’t make you realise how much God loves you nothing will All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish! We don't play the major role. Everything is God’s, if only we could understand the significance of this we would never get our knickers in a twist when things don’t go right for us, Saving us was God’s idea and all his work, it has absolutely nothing to do with us or what we could do to earn it , as the scripture says, it’s God’s gift from start to finish, from the moment you were conceived to the moment you die in this mortal body, there is nothing that you could say you achieved by yourself, he did it from start to finish. Your life is given to you by grace alone there’s no such thing as a self made man or woman, even the most brilliant of men and women achieved what they did through the grace of God whether

they believe in him or not, they didn’t accomplish anything by their own merit, they may think they did but if you are to believe what God says they did it all through his grace alone, it’s his gift from start to finish. No, weneithermakenorsaveourselves. God does both themaking and saving. To him is the glory!

And the next scripture confirms this again, for we are God’s handiwork his workmanship, his workmanship not ours

Ephesians -2-10- 10For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. {Amplified Bible}

See, we are to do the works and that doesn’t mean we are to go around with our head in the air thinking we have to do miracles and healing, no we have to be people of love, these good works of love have been planned for us since before time and if you think about before time, think back to the age of the dinosaurs’ they were here 350 million years before man, long before that time God chose you and me and planned every moment of our lives for good. As the word says taking paths which he prepared before time, and that we should walk in them living the good life which he prearranged for us to live, what a God what an awesome God we have as Father, he lovingly prepared the right paths for us to walk wanting us to walk in them and giving us the free will to do the very opposite, and still loved us even when he knew we would walk different paths at different times apart from the paths he desired us to walk, those paths he planned for us, to bring us into the good life.

John-6-28-Then said they unto him, what shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 - Jesus answered and said unto them, ‘’this is the work of God that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Let’s trust and believe God and what he has declared in his word. Trusting is a decision, a choice we make even in the face of adversity; trusting God knows what’s best for us for our good for our future.

Amen
