What the moon represents

QUESTION: Dear Holy Apostle, from the Teachings that I have heard, you have said that the moon represents, as it is right now in the first quarter, the Original Black People; am I right sir?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: No. It don’t really “represent” the Blackman in the stage he’s in now, the way you see, but it represents the sign of the Black People that is here in North America that is blind, deaf and dumb and DEAD TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF SELF, but was once in the Knowledge of Self.
