Today we offer toll-free, anonymous, professional counseling over the phone to more than 10,000 children every year. These children often have to cope with very serious problems, such as bullying, violence, sexual abuse, loneliness, anxiety and grief.

CHILDREN’S WELFARE IN DENMARK IS A PRIVATE, HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION, WHICH FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS HAS BEEN WORKING FOR CHILDREN’S RIGHTS IN DENMARK, FOCUSING ESPECIALLY ON NEGLECTED CHILDREN. CHILDREN’S WELFARE IN DENMARK HAS 7,000 MEMBERS AND MORE THAN 150 VOLUNTEERS WITH A PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND IN WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
We fight for children’s rights, and always represent the children when we take part in the public debate. Consideration for the children and their interests always takes first priority in everything that we do. We have professional expertise in working with children and advise others on how to ensure good living conditions for children.

The groups are moderated by child welfare professionals.
WELL-BEING Among other things, our school service visits primary schools to give talks on how to create well-being and an environment in class without bullying
CHILD NEGLEC T We send duty of care responses to the authorities about neglected children, offer guidance to professionals through the Professional Helpline and offer adult representation to children who need the support of a grown-up in their encounter with the social authorities.
DIVORCES We seek to influence legislation in order to safeguard the children’s rights and welfare, and offer advice to children and parents in connection with divorces.
