Street Strategies at Work THE SHARK

Imagine a typical scene from a naturenetwork documentary, one that shows a fur seal frantically swimming with a great white shark in ruthless pursuit, the huge snout of the shark filling the television screen. In the corresponding street scene, you’re riding your motorcycle down a wide arterial street when a huge sedan closes in on you, its grille filling your mirrors. Just as you change lanes to get out of this car-shark’s path, the tailgater also changes lanes behind

you. What are your best strategies for avoiding (or evading) this situation? Strategy: As soon as you notice a tailgater approaching in your mirrors, take steps to get out of the way. Activate your turn signal and make an obvious, decisive lane change to the right or left. If the car is already upon you before you notice its presence, take care before making a move to avoid the “shark pursuit” situation described above. When evading a shark, signal

early and pause for just an instant (to make sure that the tailing driver isn’t also planning to change into the same lane) before making a definite and decisive move into the other lane. Your actions should clearly communicate your intentions to the other driver so he is fully aware of what moves you intend to make.

Biker Apparel Report Diamond Gusset Jeans

Many companies today provide quality protective clothing for motorcycle riders. Blue jeans are often the go-to pant for bikers, for their comfort, utilitarian function, and general good looks. Yet often, these offer sub-par protection in the event of an “off.” Several companies offer armored jeans, with sewn-in protection at key points around the garment. Companies like Joe Rocket, Icon, Alpinestars, and Cortech are among those who offer high quality riding jeans. At a recent Great American Motorcycle Show, I had the privilege to meet with David Hall of Diamond Gusset Jean Company, a unique, all-American outfit based in Bon Aqua, Tennessee. Among their many and varied jean styles, they manufacture a “biker jean,” with fantastic features I’ve never seen before in a riding jean. Hall outfitted both Ron Galletti and me with a pair of their “Defender” riding jeans, for the purpose of giving our impressions and suggestions, as well as penning an evaluation for our readers. But first, a little background on this extraordinary American entrepreneur and his company. Hall spent years working for the likes of Levi Strauss and Lee Jeans, during the time when those companies, as well as so many others, were outsourcing their manufacturing to places like Mexico, China, and Indonesia, to name a few. In 1987, Hall had a dream for a completely American jean company, with every fiber, thread, stitch, rivet, button and patch made right here in the States, by American hands, start-to-finish. He also envisioned a unique diamond-shaped crotch design, known as a gusset, for better durability, comfort and movement. For motorcycle riders, this would prove to be a tremendous selling point. Hall struck out to pursue this dream, with no “seed money” or bank financing. In an era that has seen many companies fold, move offshore, or sell out, DG has stayed true to their vision—a superior constructed and supremely comfortable jean that is entirely American made, with the fantastic BTR 14 | BORNTORIDE.COM

gate fees, etc. A nice touch. A Velcro ankle strap can be pulled over to secure the pant securely around boots, with no “ride-up.” I also like the extra right side lower pocket, perfect for a knife, small tool, or notably, my iPhone 6s. The Defender is available in blue and black, a wide range of sizes, and comes in Women’s cut and sizes as well. I’ve spent the past few months with my pair of DG jeans, wearing them in all kinds of conditions. I’ve been riding in them almost daily, on short commutes and long days in saddle, wearing them around the office and around town, and working in them indoors and outside. Heck, I’ve even copped a few afternoon naps in them. My wife has washed them for me numerous times, and the jeans are retaining their color, with no noticeable fade, and virtually no shrinkage. The jeans remain very comfortable, with no fraying or coming apart at any seams, no wearing thin at the seat or knees. Superb manufacturing. Out on the road, the Defender remains supremely comfortable to wear. I do not experience the typical, how shall I say, “binding in the subterranean regions”, causing to me “adjust” from time to time while riding. A welcome change from regular jeans. For comparison, I have owned a pair of Cortech DSX armored riding jeans, for about 10 years. They have been among the best riding jeans I have ever owned. And yet, I find the DG Defender more comfortable and functional than even my DSX jean. I really like this pant. If I were to offer any improvement suggestions to Diamond Gusset, I think I’d diamond gusset crotch concept. And they recommend the option of an inner pocket have continued to grow. GET TRAINING – taking a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) rider course is a must, for any rider. They offer beginner courses, experienced rider courses, and advanced rider courses. Several brands offer MSFpartnered courses themselves, such as Harley-Davidson, Honda, and Yamaha. In many states and with numerous companies, riders showing proof of completing a class are eligible for insurance discounts as well. And track days/track schools will improve one’s street skills too. USE YOUR GREY MATTER- Being a show-off on a motorcycle isn’t “bitchin’”, it’s stupid. Sure, stunting, wheelies & stoppies, burn-outs, etc. may look cool to your (squid) friends. Yet to the rest of us who believe in riding responsibly, you give us all a bad name- with motorists, neighbors, the cops, and lawmakers. That affects all of us. Be smart and use your head for more than just a (novelty) helmet rack. The sport of motorcycling continues to grow across America, in all genres. Sadly, so is the squid population. I see them at bike nights, out on the streets, and up in the mountains north of my home. I refuse to ride with them, not only for my reputation, but for my safety as well. I only pray they live long enough to learn and mature a little bit, so they can enjoy a lifetime of responsible riding. That’s certainly my plan.

Brutal Beauty Triumph Expands the Bonneville Line

Last year, Triumph redesigned and rolled out an all new Bonneville lineup, the first ground-up reinvention of the marquee in over 50 years. In a cross-country tour, Triumph unveiled the bikes in shops and bars across America, amid much fanfare. The moto press enthusiastically acclaimed the new models, a 900cc Street Twin, BTR 32 | BORNTORIDE.COM

1200cc T120 and Thruxton, and the bikes flew off showroom floors. Through it all, Triumph reps kept hinting, “Stay tuned, there’s more to come.” This year, Triumph hit the highways again, in what was dubbed the “Brutal Beauty Tour,” to reveal three new iterations of the Bonneville - the café style Street Cup, a

new high-piped Scrambler, and the main attraction of the tour, the chopped-looking Bobber. By invitation only, enthusiasts registered online to attend the unveil parties at various locales across the country. The tour ended in Atlanta, at a club called Terminal West, with a packed house in attendance.

Born To Ride Magazine, Real Editorial Content, Real Value for you the Reader.

I had received an invite from my friends at Hourglass Cycles, and rode down into Atlanta on my own Triumph, a Sprint 955 ST, to join the evening festivities. The parking lot was jammed with bikes of every kind and brand, but obviously leaning heavily to the Triumph side. Red Bull was there, along with reps from Triumph North America,

notably, COO Matt Sheahan and Shawn Sundheim, SE regional sales manager. DJs inside and out were blaring music, and the atmosphere was electric, even for a Tuesday night. Entrance garnered two free drink tickets, as well as various freebees (Triumph guitar picks, koozies, etc.). Two barbers were present, giving haircuts and

beard trims to all who inquired. Interesting. Triumph reps were working the crowd, answering questions and making contacts, with Bonneville videos projected on screens around the facility. When the time came to unveil the new models, Matt, Shawn and company snatched the covers off each bike in succession,

Triumph is off to a great start with the revamped Bonneville line, and having ridden all three of the first editions (Street Twin, T120, Thruxton), I’m confident these new additions will not disappoint. Matt and Shawn described the distinct features of each, then ushered everyone out to the parking lot for a tire-shredding burnout with the Bobber. t’s that time of the year when you have some days set aside to do some riding and relaxing. The big question is:

WHERE TO GO THIS YEAR?

You know you want to head to the mountains and hills where it will be cooler, but you don’t want to go too far north. You’ve already done the Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap a half a dozen times and you need something new and refreshing. Well guess what? There is a place you probably went right on by heading up from Florida just an hour and a half north of Atlanta. Blairsville, Georgia is the destination and the Copperhead Lodge is where you want to stay! It’s far enough out of town to keep it secluded and nestled up in the woods but close enough to run into town to get some groceries if you plan on staying awhile.

We were lucky enough to spend a few days at Copperhead Lodge in July and we had a wonderful and relaxing time. Once we got out of Florida and off the super slabs, we rode up through Macon, took back roads to Athens, then up through Vogel State Park and into the town of Cleveland, Georgia where the roads got real interesting for the next 35 miles into Blairsville. The GPS said it would take over an hour to do the 35 miles through the mountains. With all the curves it was more like 35 miles of smiles! It was a long day of riding, but we finally pulled into Copperhead Lodge and made our way to the front desk. We were immediately greeted by Michelle Evans, co-owner, manager, bartender, promoter and motorcycle guide. Yes ... she does it all we found out over the next few days and she made the

Energizer Bunny look like a wimp! We were tired and she knew it as she handed over the keys to our cabin, “Come on back once you get settled in and we’ll talk and you can get some dinner,” she said. We settled in to our cozy cabin that included a king-size bed, full kitchen, living room, deck and a screened porch. It was decorated in a cowboy theme and it made us feel at home. You could definitely spend some serious time in this place, as it was not your average “hotel” room! Best of all, the cabins have a separate garage to park your motorcycle, and for the ones that don’t there is covered motorcycle parking up at the lodge. We could already tell this place was designed for bikers, oh yeah! You could also get a room at the Lodge itself on the lower level and park your bike right outside the

window of your room. After a very short walk, we were back at the lodge for dinner and let me tell you, this place was awesome! From the front door, you walk into the Grand Lobby, which actually should be called ‘the Great Gathering Place” with its vaulted ceilings and huge fireplace. Someone had actually spent some time and put a motorcycle design right into the stonework of the fireplace ... you won’t see that anywhere else. So what would you expect on the menu in Northern Georgia? Barbeque of course, but how about wild Alaskan salmon and the Thursday night special of ALL YOU CAN EAT Maine lobster for your dining pleasure! This was no ordinary menu as is Copperhead Lodge is no ordinary destination. We had fried grit balls to start with, then a rack of

baby back ribs and of course the lobster. Everything we had was delicious and we wished we had saved room for desert after they told us about their decedent treats. Afterwards we strolled into the bar for a couple of beers (which come out of a 28 degree cooler) and chatted with Michelle to find out more about this wonderful discovery. “This place was actually built in 2006 and we bought it in 2009. After a lot of changes it reopened in 2010. It sits on 40 acres in the Appalachian Mountains and it had been a dream for my husband Anthony and myself to own and operate such a unique resort,” said Michelle. “By the way, I will be taking a group over to the Sandbar in Hiawassee BTR 38 | BORNTORIDE.COM

for bike night on the back roads if you’re interested, kick stands up at 7:00!” she said. Tempting, but we were beat from the day’s traveling. After a good night’s sleep we spent the morning walking the whole resort and checking out every cabin on the property. Everyone had a personality of their own and had something on the property that let you know there was a biker staying there. There are some for sale and there are also lots available for more cabins. We are seriously thinking that Copperhead Lodge would be a great place to own a vacation rental. There is information on their website that tells you all about it. www.copperheadlodge.com

One really great thing that caught our attention about this place is it is an awesome music venue. On the front of the property is an area called “the Yard,” a big grassy field (surrounded by tall trees) which slopes down into a natural amphitheater with a covered stage. There is always somebody scheduled to perform and Friday night we were lucky enough to catch country recording artist, John Berry. Motorcycles and music are two of our favorite things in the world, and now we have the mountains to go along with it ... doesn’t get much better than this, unless you want to take a dip in the 40,000 gallon saltwater pool! Saturday morning came around quickly and

it was time to do some riding. One thing that really stood out to us ... there was no traffic wherever we went. That alone would make a great day of riding. We were told about “the Gauntlet,” a 135 mile ride that starts and ends at Copperhead Lodge. It is one of the main reasons we came up to Georgia in the first place. We were given a detailed map with turn by turn directions on the back. I will admit now that I should have paid attention to those directions! We did follow most of the map to some great roads with twisties and sweepers, and we rode a lot of great roads that were not on our map. Doesn’t matter though, we had a great ride, saw some awesome scenery and the best part was that it ended back at the Copperhead Lodge. That night was the Saturday night tradition of music on the porch. The porch was a huge wrap around area of the lodge that was just perfect for outside dining and drinks. After

another fabulous meal, (Prime Rib and the best Salmon this side of the Mason-Dixon Line) we melted into a couch on the porch for an evening of music by local band, 12 Gauge Persuaders. We don’t see any reason to go back to Deals Gap, as we have found our new mountain get-away, Copperhead Lodge. Everyone here has made us feel welcomed and to tell you the truth, we don’t want to leave. This is a 1st Class operation that can only get bigger and better as time passes and the word gets out. Christmas is looking mighty fine right now, maybe we should make our reservations soon. Now, we need to talk about this rooster next door. ... One last note ... Michelle, you’re one ambitious person, and you do it all; Copperhead Lodge would still be closed if you hadn’t come along. Need to know: Vehicle Insurance for Riders & Questions to ask your Provider By Matt Danielson, The Motorcycle Law Group

Getting out on the road puts riders at the mercy of other motorcyclists, drivers and possibly poor road and weather conditions. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think riding is dangerous. But the unfortunate fact is that many of us will be involved in some type of accident one day. While insurance can’t prevent an accident, making sure you have the proper insurance coverage is the best way to ensure that you – and your bike – are protected after the fact. When full coverage isn’t enough The term ‘full coverage’ can be misleading because it doesn’t necessarily mean the policy will cover everything in full in the event of an accident. Full coverage typically includes all the major types of coverages your provider offers. But, some insurance companies define ‘full coverage’ differently. What’s more important is how much coverage you bought. If you also bought the minimum amount of coverage (a coverage limit of $25,000, for example), you will most likely receive only the minimum limits for your injury, regardless of how serious it is or the verdict you receive in court. Understanding policy limits If you’re in an accident and the other motorist is at fault, their insurance will surely pay out, but that doesn’t mean it’ll cover all the costs. The other motorist’s insurance coverage will only pay up to their policy limit, and if they’re like most, they bought the minimum amount of insurance their state requires. For example, the minimum amount of insurance required in Georgia is $25,000. Regardless of how serious the injuries or expensive the damages, if the other motorists’ policy limit is $25,000, their insurance is only required to pay a maximum of that amount. How can I ensure I’m covered? This is where uninsured motorist (UM) and underinsured motorist (UIM) coverages come in. UM coverage protects you if you’re injured by someone who doesn’t

have insurance at all. If you purchase UM coverage, your insurance company will pay you up to your limits of coverage for injuries caused by an uninsured motorist. What’s more common are accidents involving motorists who have insurance, just not enough to cover the expenses of a serious accident. That’s when you need UIM coverage. Think of UIM coverage as a “supplemental” insurance to cover the costs the other person’s insurance won’t. In other words, if you have $200,000 in UIM coverage, you’ll have at least $200,000 to compensate yourself for injuries caused by a motorist without enough insurance. Talk to your insurance provider. •Start by asking them to go over the specifics of your policy: How do they define ‘full coverage?’ What types of coverages do you have and how much is your current policy limit? •Add UM and UIM coverage if you don’t already have it. While additional coverages may cost more, pricing varies from one insurance agency to another and factors like driving record, age and location can lower the costs. You may be surprised at how little it costs to increase the coverage available to you. In fact, the more UM and UIM coverage you buy, the less expensive it gets. •Shop around to find out how much additional coverages and increased policy

limits will cost you. It will be far less expensive than being seriously injured in an accident and not having enough coverage available to you. While there’s no hard and fast rule on policy types and coverages, at the Motorcycle Law Group, we recommend riders have no less than a total of $500,000 in coverage to ensure they’re protected and aren’t at the mercy of other motorists without enough insurance. As always, if you have any questions about insurance, your state’s regulations or any other topic related to riders, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Craven Moorehead Another Month, Another Baseless Story

I was just sittin here in the trailer park watching Jerry Springer when I was reminded what time of the month it was. Oh crap … I didn’t turn in my column yet this month and yeah, it’s a short month. For some reason, I was dreaming that it was July but alas, it wasn’t. The thought of time, days and deadlines didn’t really cross my mind. I was simply relaxing here thinking about going to Daytona for Bike Week and other pleasant thoughts – or unobtainable dreams and not so much about obligations and tasks that really need to be done. It’s a slow and simple life out here in the country, and there is little motivation to get too excited about things that must get done in a certain amount of time. At this point in my life, I have little or no concept of time, either previously elapsed or remaining in the future. It’s one of those deals. As long as I wake up above ground I assume that there are endless possibilities. If I make it from the bed to the kitchen for coffee anything is possible and after a half a pot or so, I can consider functioning as a regular human being – whatever that is. Often, I wonder what a ‘normal’ life is. Most of us have jobs, ambitions and the enjoyment of reaping the rewards from our various occupations. That’s the thing that keeps most of us driving on, pushing forward and continuing to do chores that we don’t really like to do as a simple matter of survival. Fortunately, I enjoy writing and sometimes it allows me to be able to relate what’s going on in my life, at least it gives me a minute to see which way the road is going to turn – so to speak. None of us really know. This is a long road and the twists and turns often remind us that, even though we think we know where we are going, sometimes fate has a different idea and we can find ourselves on a back-road to nowhere in minutes. It’s okay people, just enjoy the scenery!

Once, I was involved in a motorcycle organization that often demanded that I be somewhere at a certain time. I remember that in this scenario, I couldn’t get there the day before to enjoy a bit of down time because believe it or not – I had a job! Again, this was years back when I was lucky enough to be employed so I had to do something that I would not normally do. No, I didn’t get on an airplane and ask for a ride to the event, I got up at 4 AM and met with some of the guys so we could be there to attend the gig and do our part to help the community and our group. It’s a beautiful thing to leave early on the bike and watch the sun come up on the horizon, hear the crisp sound of the pipes almost all in unison and feel the brotherhood of the road! I don’t know if there is a better feeling and at the end of the day, even if you are tired, you know in your heart that the journey was worth it! So is the good feeling we get as bikers really worth it? Of course it is. Even though we are often given a bad rap by the media or sometimes looked down upon by the local authorities, in the end it all seems to be worth it. I suspect that most of you would agree on this subject and yeah, it costs a few bucks to stay wide-open in the fast lane but we can all look back the good we have done as a loosely knitted community of people that all share the same passion! The freedom and benevolence of motorcycling and living on the road are much more important than the nay-sayers comments and opinions of our unique lifestyle. I don’t know about you, but I certainly wouldn’t change a thing! The experiences and journeys that we share out there on the highway are far more important than the opinions of the unknowing. If you want to denigrate the life that we lead, at least try it once and hey, if you don’t like it, simply move on. There is no need for negative commentary and foolish myths that have persisted for generations and beyond simply because we are different. Let’s just keep up the good work and keep helping our organizations and communities like we always do. It is our destiny after all. So now. Bike Week is upon us. You are likely reading this at the event, or perhaps before or after it, but either way simply be reminded that the people next to you are your brothers and sisters who came to enjoy the same scene that you did. Years ago, I wrote an entire article regarding this unique event. I can’t remember if it was titled ‘Come for Vacation and leave on Probation’ or whatever but keep this in mind – there are a lot of people out there who still don’t ‘get’ our lifestyle and some don’t like it too much. Unfortunately, certain factions of the local authorities aren’t big fans of this event and I can tell you that it isn’t a pretty scene in the Volusia County Jail. All I can do is attempt to implore the thought on all of you to do your absolute best to stay the heck out of trouble and don’t fall victim to the potholes and downfalls that can ruin a good time! We are all out here to have fun so let’s keep it at that and enjoy the event and the nuance that is the biker life! CRAVEN

In some cases “the older the more horrible” comes to mind when dealing with these movies. This one was produced in 1968, and rates right (down) there with the best of the worst! The plot bears more than a few similarities to Satan’s Sadists (which I have previously reviewed for BTR). In this case, it’s Shayne, the psychotic female leader of The “Mini Skirts” played by Diane McBain and her hair-do, stalking the innocent young couple along with her ‘gang’ members. It seems that “Jeff” theman she’s after used to be “her

guy,” but he got wise, dumped his rodeo/ biker buddies and married some hot brunette girl from the local bank. This in my opinion was a weird mix. The connection involving ‘biker’ girls and rodeo guys never seemed to materialize. It looked more like a ‘hippie’ flick than a poorly made biker film. Anyway, here’s my best shot at explaining the plot. … Just as Jeff was preparing to apply the pork to his new bride “Connie,” all his old pals and the “Mini-Skirts” arrive at his camper trailer to party. This of course leads to a major fistfight, where Jeff and his new bride suffer the worst of the melee. Later Shayne the maniacal jilted blonde (and her hair-do)

convinces the other ne’er-do-wells to hang around with her, and continue to torture Jeff and Connie. As they chase them up a mountain road Jeff swerves and runs “LG” off the road crashing his motorcycle into a deep chasm. They return to find him dead, and decide to leave, but some boy scouts see all the action. The cops come later, and haul LG off. (You don’t see too much of the cops in this one oddly. ...) Later on, the gang finds Jeff and Connie camped out, and a couple of the guys rough Connie up while Jeff is out walking around. More psycho-babble from Shayne leads the gang to keep the couple trapped in the trailer with a rifle. That only works for a while, as Jeff tries to rig something up with the propane bottle, and the stove in the camper. As usual in these films one of the members turns on the other. In this case it’s Shayne’s sister, who wants to release Jeff and his bride and return to town. She knocks one of the rodeo rednecks out, and hatches a plan with Jeff and Connie. As she dons Connie’s clothes, the couple escapes while she fires at the gang from inside the trailer. The gang retaliates with Molotov cocktails, leading to one of the ubiquitous gags where a stunt man wears a fire suit and runs around the desert while flaming away. Anyhow, I’m not sure where the beer (or the empty bottles) originally came from, but the blast from the exploding propane kills Shayne’s sister. In the end two of the gang chase Jeff and Connie through the desert, and Shayne’s motorcycle slips on the edge of a ravine and crashes down several hundred feet. Shayne is holding on to the edge for dear life and begs Connie to save her. Connie grasps Shayne’s hand but well you know … she kinda lets go as Jeff approaches, and the couple watches as Shayne tumbles to her death. As typical in these old reels, most of the actors were totally unconvincing. I found myself thinking- these aren’t real bikers or rodeo dudes! These are simply bourgeois B-movie Hollywood types earning a living at ruining their future careers. I think that during most of the viewings however. Biker exploitation? No. Waste of good Mylar? Probably. You watch it and decide for yourself. I can only recommend this piece if you have a burning desire to see hot Sixties chicks in mini-skirts, go-go boots and huge hair. I did like the old Honda and Triumph motorcycles, and of course since there was Budweiser, (still not sure where it came from) it got one star. It runs 82 minutes, is available on DVD from MGM’s ‘Midnight Movies’ series, and I can only (in my right mind) give it 2 stars because there was a glaring lack of nudity. (The second star appears because I LOVE cat-fights!) So grab a Bud and some popcorn, and we’ll see ya next month! BORNTORIDE.COM | BTR 55

Christian Motorcyclists Association Living in Central Florida has one very real benefit for those who ride, a year round opportunity to get out and get into the wind. I know that there are some who won’t go out unless the temperature is a certain minimal level, one that does not involve leather chaps. All I can say is if it isn’t warm enough to get out and ride, just wait a few hours and it will likely warm up to an

acceptable level. In the summer there are those who will argue it’s too hot to ride. All one has to do if it is too hot is to splash on some water, and drink down a bottle of the same, and enjoy the wind blowing across themselves as they ride. And when early evening comes, the temperature drops and it is so very pleasurable to enjoy our favorite pastime. About the only time I really dislike riding is in the rain. Hear me clearly; I do ride in the rain, but usually only when I have been caught in the rain during a ride that is underway. If it is a gentle summer drizzle it can actually feel refreshing, and if you find yourself riding into and out of showers, you will often arrive at your BTR 56 | BORNTORIDE.COM

destination dry and refreshed! Then there is the other kind of rain, where the water is pouring down, the wind is picking up, and the lightshow in the sky is in full bloom. I was recently on a lunch run and came out to discover the sky was closing down in dark, wet clouds. It is harder to ride then, not as safe, and the rider must focus more than ever. I believe that riding under such conditions involves a whole other set of riding skills and can be a valuable learning experience. This is especially true when one’s glasses are covered in rain and visibility is down to almost nothing. It is then the rider must have confidence in their riding skills and his or her ability to carefully focus on the road. I have found that rain riding makes me feel more in touch with the bike, the road, and the traffic conditions. One has to trust their instincts and their training to get home safely. In the Bible, in Mark 4:37, it says “A furious squall came up.” While it is true this story is about fishermen in their boat, they had grave concerns for their safety, for their very lives, yet Jesus was peacefully asleep during the storm. He knew that He had everything under control. So it is with our lives, especially during the storms of life, Jesus has it all under control. When we put our trust in Him, He handles the storms we face. He helps us see the way past what may be blocking our vision, and see the sunshine of His grace in our lives! In The Wind, Denny Dingler
