Use quick-grab PVA glue so the quilled edges and pieces adhere within seconds

You’ll need

All-occasion quilling set white & pink cardstock patterned papers tracing paper sentiment stamp dark purple inkpad 3D foam pads alphabet die set manual die-cutting machine Step by step

1 Cover the front of a 12x10cm topfolding white card blank with pink cardstock trimmed slightly smaller. Trim patterned paper to 11x9cm and adhere on top. Trim a border of contrasting paper to 12x2cm and adhere across the bottom. 2 Cut white cardstock to 7.5x9cm and stamp a sentiment towards the top. Trace a ‘H’ onto tracing paper with a pencil, turn over and go over the design on the back. 3 Trace the ‘H’ under the sentiment and die-cut the rest of the sentiment from pink cardstock. Go around the edge of the ‘H’ with a quilling paper and fi ll in with scroll and tight coils. 4 Trim pink patterned paper to 8.5x10cm, adhering the white cardstock on top. Layer onto pink cardstock, attaching above the border with 3D foam pads. 5 Quill three simple fl owers and adhere across the border.

1 Cover the front of a 15x9cm top-folding white card blank with yellow cardstock trimmed slightly smaller. Cut pink patterned paper to 14x8cm and adhere on top. 2 Trim white cardstock to 14x5.5cm and stamp a sentiment in the centre. Layer onto yellow cardstock and adhere across the front. 3 Trace an ‘O’ onto tracing paper with a pencil, turn over and go over the design on the back. Trace the ‘O’ around the sentiment and go around the edge with quilling paper. 4 Fill in the ‘O’ with a mixture of shaped loose and tight coils and scrolls. Add a mixture of scrolls and shaped loose coils either side to complete the design.

When making scrolls, work with the natural curve in the quilling papers for a neat fi nish

1 Cover the front of a 13cm square white card blank with pink cardstock trimmed slightly smaller. Cut patterned paper to 12cm square and adhere on top. 2 Die-cut a 7.5cm circle from white cardstock and stamp a sentiment in the centre. Layer a circle die-cut from pink cardstock and adhere to card front as shown. 3 Trace the flower design onto tracing paper with a pencil then turn over and go over the design on the back. Trace the design under the sentiment, altering it to fit around the circle. 4 Quill the design using a mixture of loose coils shaped into petals and leaves, tight coils and scrolls.

1 Cover the front of a 10.5x15cm white card blank with orange cardstock trimmed slightly smaller. Trim yellow patterned paper to 9.5x14cm and adhere on top. 2 Cut white cardstock to 9.5x4cm and stamp a sentiment on the right-hand side. Layer on pink patterned paper and adhere to the front, towards the bottom. 3 Trace the design onto tracing paper with a pencil, turn over and go over the design on the back. 4 Place and trace the design on to the left-hand side, and quill the design using a mixture of scrolls, loose, shaped loose and tight coils.
