Apply a thin layer of PVA glue onto a small piece of acetate and dip the base or edge of the quilled pieces into it before adhering in place

All-occasion quilling set white & blue cardstock tracing paper patterned paper dark purple inkpad sentiment stamp
1 Cover the front of a 12x14cm top-folding white card blank with blue cardstock trimmed slightly smaller. Trim yellow patterned paper to 11x13cm and adhere on top.

2 Trim white cardstock to 10x12cm and stamp a sentiment on the right-hand side. Trace the flower design onto tracing paper with a pencil and turn over and go over the design on the back.
3 Trace the design on to the lefthand side of the white cardstock and quill the design using a mixture of loose coils shaped into petals and leaves, tight coils and scrolls.
