About us In 1988 Mr. Hugo Bosio started manufacturing small laboratory furnaces for heat treatment and other small furnaces. The company BOSIO was formally established in 1989. Since then reached BOSIO in the countries of the former Republic of Yugoslavia market share of 90%. Later BOSIO start to expand sales activities on the markets of Western Europe, especially Germany and Austria. This was an important time for the company in which it gained experience and knowledge for further projects also by collaborating with other European competitors in the field of heat treatment. During these years the company expanded its product range constantly. Between the years 1995 and 2005 showed that the company BOSIO is a reliable provider is the West and East European market and expanded its production capacity and increased the number of employees. During this time the company became known and competitive, which is noted in the increasing number of successfully completed projects for companies such as BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, Danfoss, Åkers, Volvo, General Motors, Alstom, Aubert & Duval, … On the Slovenian market BOSIO is the only company that provides new furnace technology and modernized old. In 2003 the company received the certificate ISO BOSIO 9001. Entry into the Russian and CIS market in 2005 gave the company new impetus and encouraged for the new development. In the following decade BOSIO delivered more than 170 different furnaces and heat treatment plants to Russia and the CIS. The production area of the company grew and computer-aided design and manufacturing automation have been introduced. The company became the permanent participant in trade fairs in the field of metallurgy and heat treatment in Europe, India and the Russia & CIS. From 2010, the company entered into the Indian market. The decisive factor was the signing of an agreement with Larsen & Toubro for the supply of 20-meter-high vertical furnace and spraying unit. In 2012 BOSIO became a part of the international AICHELIN group and therefore has access to the sales and service network of AICHELIN. BOSIO and its subsidiaries now employs more than 120 employees. The BOSIO brand stands for quality by their ISO certificates and patents, know-how and methods that adapt to the requirements of customers and are the foundation for today’s production.
