A Commun of Artist At BU College of Fine Arts, we’re educating artists, but we are also preparing leaders, entrepreneurs, advocates, and thinkers. This is where you can participate in academic exercises that will stretch your abilities and expand your expression to be a powerful catalyst in political, cultural, environmental, and social discourse. This is where you will master the rigors of your craft, while challenging the status quo. CFA School of Music provides a range of practical skills to infuse entrepreneurial potential, enabling students to lead and succeed in the increasingly competitive and multifaceted arts landscape of the 21st century. More than 50 School of Music graduates currently perform with major symphonies and opera companies across the country, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera, and Lyric Opera of Chicago.
