KATHERINE ATKINSON (she/her) is a Senior Acting major with a minor in Dance and a concentration in Musical Theatre at Boston University! Some of Katherine's favorite projects she's worked on at BU were choreographing and performing in Aurora Borealis: Festival of Dance and Light, her role as M in Passage, and her role as Huldy in The Moors! She spent her junior spring semester studying at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London where she appeared as Apemantus in Timon of Athens. Katherine would like to thank her incredible faculty and peers here at SOT, and her mother Karen for her continual love and support!
LACHLAN BOYLE (he/him) is an Acting major at Boston University. He has appeared in productions such as Sometime When Everything Has Changed, Colossal, and Let the Right One In. He graduates this spring and is so grateful for all of the people he has been able to get to know and work with both in class and throughout the rehearsal process as well as his mother, sister, and father for their never-ending support of his work.
KATE BRUGGER is receiving her BFA in Acting from Boston University in 2023 where she has recently been seen as Sonya in Uncle Vanya (adaptation by Annie Baker), Katherine in Proof, and Banquo/Porter in Macbeth at LAMDA. She is from Sacramento, CA.
AIDAN CLOSE (He/Him) is a current Senior Acting Major with a concentration in Musical Theatre at Boston University. He has been lucky enough to have studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where he played Flavius in their production of Timon of Athens, as well as Prague Shakespeare Company in Prague, where he played Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing and King Henry VI in Henry VI Part III. His Boston University credits include Švec in Once, Vince in Assistance, and dramaturg for Marisol, as well as originating the role of Avery in Incels and Other Myths at the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre. Aidan would love to thank his family, friends, and roommates for their stability and support.
DOMINIC COLANGELO (he/him) is an Acting Major at Boston University. Credits include A Dream Play, Assistance, and the role of Husband in Sophie Treadwell's Machinal. Dominic is the founder and Managing Director of the Boston Young Artists, a non-profit dedicated to supporting rising theatre makers in the city of Boston.
CHARLEY DANGER (he/him/his) starred in Oscar award-winning director Cynthia Wade's narrative short, “Sproutland”, which began its release in April 2021 at the Florida Film Festival. The film has won numerous awards and has been featured in over twenty festivals, with more slated for the coming months. He is an actor from New England who is currently in his ultimate year at Boston University's School of Theatre. FADY DEMIAN (he/him) is a senior Acting major at Boston University with an added concentration in musical theatre. His work with BU include s Photograph 51, Lorena: A Tabloid Epic, and Incels & Other Myths at the Boston Playwrights Theatre, and most recently, Uncle Vanya. He has done several short films and has enjoyed working abroad, such as at LAMDA and the Prague Shakespeare Company. Fady is looking forward to working on his Acting Thesis as well as Speakeasy's Wild Goose Dreams. He is infinitely grateful to all the professors here at BU who've encouraged and nurtured his artistic voice.
BISHOP EDWARDS is a senior Acting major at Boston University who has performed in BU shows such as Little Rowboat as James Hemmings and Colossal as Young Mike. He has a passion for truthful storytelling on stage and on film. Before college Bishop BE discovered his passion for acting while competing in the August Wilson Monologue Competition where he was a national finalist and performed on a Broadway stage as a result! In addition to acting , he is also a dedicated poet and spoken word artist who believes self-reflection and growth will in turn heal his commun ity by encouraging them to do the same in their lives.
ERNESTO GARRIDO (he/him) is an Acting major at Boston University who has worked on several BU productions including Transfers, Laure, and Mankind. He is also involved in many film projects in collaboration with the College of Communications. Ernesto would like to thank his mother Alicia Gonzalez, his father Lazaro Garrido, Ana Gloria Perez, Dylan Avillanoza and his family and friends who have supported him.
SHIRA GOLDSTEIN (She/Her) is a senior Acting Major at Boston University with a concentration in Musical Theatre. Som e of her previous BU shows include Passage, Assistance, Incels and Other Myths, and The Moors. Prior to BU, she appeared in Batboy (Batboy) and Spring Awakening (Wendla) as well as others. She spent her Junior spring semester at the Royal Academy of Dramat ic Arts in London where she
appeared in Timon of Athens. Shira would like to send gratitude to her parents and grandparents who show her every day what it means to be loved and supported.
LIZZY KIRCHER (she/her) is a Senior Acting major at Boston University where she will be receiving her BFA in May of 2023. She is a mover, singer, actor and has enjoyed getting to do all three at BU. Some of Lizzy’s favorite projects she’s done at BU include Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Save the Whales etc. She would like to thank her family and friends for the unwavering support and their commitment to her and what she loves to do.
NICOLETTE MANGO (she/her) is a senior Acting major at Boston University. She has performed in various BU shows, including Assistance, Machinal, and Little Row Boat; or, Conjecture. In the spring, she is looking forward to doing her Senior Thesis as well as performing in Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties. Nicolette would like to thank her friends, family, and classmates for all their love and support!
THOMAS MCLAUGHLIN is a senior acting major at Boston University’s School of Theatre. During his time at BU, he has been cast in two shows at The Boston Playwrights Theatre: Incels and Other Myths (Hornz) and Save the Whales, etc (Robin). Other BU credits include Photograph 51 (Gosling), and this spring he will be performing Seawall by Simon Stephens.
KATIE MCRAE (she/her) is finally a senior Acting major. She has had the pleasure of being in shows such as Uncle Vanya, Patterns of Wind, and Othello. Katie is most excited for this performance, as she has been keeping ideas for it since her freshman year. Her work tonight is personal, painful, and a celebration of the five years she has had at Boston University. She would like to thank her mom, dad, Zach, and Tyler for encouraging her to be herself, and would like to shout out all SUPER SENIORS who share her journey. Thank you for coming!
MAURIE MOORE (she/her) is a Senior Acting major with a concentration in Musical Theater at Boston University. Some of her BU roles include Girl in Once, Alma in Summer and Smoke and Claire in Proof. Her most recent film will be premiering on Pureflix in February of 2023. She would like to extend all of her love to her family and friends; these four years have been a dream come true.
SAMUEL REGUEROS is a senior Acting Major at Boston University School of Theatre. Some of his BU credits include: Actor 3 in Robert O’Hara’s Mankind, Ned Alleyn in Shakespeare in Love by Lee Hall, Eddie in The Legend of Georgia Mcbride, Prince
Charming in Where do the Peaches Grow?, Ernest Hemingway in The Salamander and the Impediment and Tod in Far Away. This past summer he made is Appolinarie debut in Brooke Reeves And Your Little Dog Too as the Toto.
HENRY SIROTA (he/him) is a Senior Acting Major at Boston University. Born and raised on the Upper West Side of NYC, Henry has performed in various BU School of Theatre productions including Mud, Summer and Smoke, and Laure. Henry spent part of his Junior year studying abroad in London at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art. He most recently performed in the premier of Kirsten Greenidge’s Little Row Boat or, Conjecture at Boston University’s Studio One. TORI VAN LOON (she/her) is a senior at the Boston University School of Theatre, months away from receiving her BFA in Acting. She has had the pleasure of working on several immaculate BU productions such as Grounded; Machinal; and Once: A New Musical. She would like to thank her parents, her brother and sister for being her honorary stage parents, her friends, and of course, Shamus.
AJ WELKER is a senior currently working towards her BFA in Acting at Boston University’s School of Theatre. Previous BU credits include Amy in Dry Land and Gertrude in Hamlet. She would like to thank her family for their constant love and support.
