THE ALPE ADRIA TRAIL, the three-country trail connecting Mt. Grossglockner with the Adriatic Sea, is becoming one of the most well-known European footpaths due to its diversity, cultural heritage and natural beauty. The opening event, organised by a different country each year, will be hosted at the Soča Valley this year. The cultural programme will be composed with the help of the Orkesterkamp – the summer orchestra school taking place each year in Bovec. Additionally, the culinary events will help you get to know and taste some local delicacies. You’ll be accompanied by experienced guides of the Triglav National Park.

JAZZ GROUP NOVA
The musical shades and thunderous sounds of brass instruments are represented in a unique manner by the musicians forming the heart of the brass section of the NOVA Philharmonic Orchestra. Five young and dynamic brass musicians, mostly coming from the Karst, link talent, musicality and lightness to create a striking ensemble.
The chamber group Cellostrike came into existence following the example of the famous violoncellos ensemble of the Berlin Philharmonic. Their repertoire includes famous works of composers of all styles and musical periods and even the harder sounds of the guitar riffs of heavy metal bands such as Metallica and Apocalyptica.
The duo consists of the flautist Nika Hribar and the guitarist Sebastjan Grego. They are brought together by the joy of music and joint music making and the desire to discover and get to know new musical literature and the music of the world. Therefore, their repertoire includes artists of different periods, genres and nationalities.
These musicians are real jazz souls and masters of improvisation. Their music is full of inspiration, they always persuade the audience with their picturesque music making and their performances of uncompromisingly high quality. In particular, they create a cool atmosphere of pop-jazz dimensions.
