AWARD-WINNING DESIGN
What makes David Stimmel, the awardwinning Philadelphia-based designer and owner of Stimmel Consulting Group for 15 years so unique, is his reputation for his innate ability to visualize how a design will work in his mind, translate that to paper and bring it to life. Though many designers are good at one or two of those steps, Stimmel excels at all three. His down-toearth demeanor makes doing business with him easy. “I work with building owners and clients’ neighbors with respect to ensure them that I understand the impact of the remodeling project,” says Stimmel. Besides his ability to work around challenging logistics of a remodeling project, he has an intuition about his clients’ needs. It’s been said that no Stimmel kitchen, beautiful boudoir or bath looks alike, and that’s because he designs each one according to a client’s unique needs. Stimmel’s talent extends into millwork design and he regularly handles libraries, media rooms and concealed rooms. “Clients who want secret rooms don’t necessarily know who would design that specialized space,” says Stimmel. To service his growing tri-state area clients, Stimmel offers an in home based design service, “I love to see the space” he adds. His company’s long list of awards includes winning several Bath of the Year honors, and Kitchen of the Year titles numerous years in a row from both “Kitchen and Bath Business Magazine” and “Signature Kitchen and Bath Magazine.” To view the Stimmel Design Group portfolio of projects, please visit stimmeldesign.com.
