Have You Seen? MTA Acquires New Electric Vehicles
by Boylen
The MTA has purchased two new BYD Atto 3s to train apprentices on the latest electric car technology and help members prepare for the transition to zero and low emission vehicles.
The 2023 Drive Car of the Year has a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, a 60.5kWh lithium-ion battery and comes with bidirectional charging capabilities.
The best interests of the automotive industry are considered in all of the MTA’s training and upskilling programs, and the BYD Atto 3s will help meet these goals.
As part of this, the industry organisation is harnessing renewable energy through its 100-Kilowatt Solar Systems to charge outside of peak times, reduce energy bills and contribute to an even greener South Australia.
