Passionate Brothers Pursue Automotive Dreams at the MTA

Cooper and Bailey, twin brothers with a lifelong passion for cars, have embarked on their journey as firstyear light vehicle apprentices at the MTA. From a young age, they found joy in tinkering with cars at home and were driven to translate their love for cars into a rewarding profession.
Cooper expressed, “Our dad introduced us to cars from the start, so they have been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember.”
The brothers came across the MTA while exploring job opportunities on the employment search platform, Seek, where they immediately recognised the perfect chance to pursue their aspirations of becoming apprentices.
Cooper and Bailey swiftly enrolled and succeeded in their interviews. Bailey emphasised the invaluable support provided by the MTA through its training initiatives.
“The MTA offers a comprehensive training program that provides apprentices with a well-rounded experience in different aspects of light vehicles, which is exactly what we were looking for,” he explained.
The duo aspire to become skilled and knowledgeable mechanics. Bailey expressed the desire to gain experience in multiple areas of light vehicles, highlighting the importance of diverse knowledge. Cooper echoed the sentiment, looking forward to the opportunity to continuously learn and deepen their understanding as they advance in their career.
