A New Beginning with Fresh Ideas We look forward to welcoming all of you to Willson Auditorium for an adventurous 2021/22 season. Music Director Norman Huynh is presenting a wide range of repertoire and guest artists making their Montana debut, along with powerful standards guaranteed to stimulate your senses. This season, we are expanding our concert offerings with the introduction of a new concert experience: Bozeman Symphony Presents, a series aimed towards music lovers of all genres. Through this season, we strive to present music that is accessible to everyone in the Gallatin Valley community and beyond. 2

The music featured this season are works that I have held close to my heart since the beginning of my career. Many of these works carried me through much of last year. Through this music I found solace and joy, and I can’t wait to share that with our community,” Norman Huynh, Music Director

We are honored and eager to chart a prosperous, creative future under the artistic leadership of our new Music Director, Norman Huynh. The support of the community, businesses, and individuals is vital to the livelihood and success of the Bozeman Symphony. Ticket sales cover less than 35% of our annual operating budget and we rely upon contributions to continue presenting high quality musical presentations to Bozeman and surrounding areas. Become a Donor: Make a gift or pledge to the Bozeman Symphony and know you are making a difference! All gifts receive a tax receipt and are acknowledged in our concert season programs. The Bozeman Symphony is a registered 501(C)3 nonprofit organization with a vibrant history. Symphony Underwriters: The Underwriters provide a strong, stable financial base to the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra and Choir by committing to donate at least $100 each month ($1,200 a year or more) to the Symphony. Benefits of pledging to be an Underwriter include access to our hospitality room at performances with complimentary coat check, beverages, appetizers, invitations to private annual receptions and more. Questions about becoming an Underwriter? Call us at 406-585-9774. 21

BOZEMAN SYMPHONY 2021/2022

Become a Business Sponsor: The Bozeman Symphony is proud to work with businesses that support us and the arts in our community. Sponsorships can include opportunities to sponsor our season, a concert series, a concert, and more. Please contact us to learn more. Advertise: Advertising in our season programs is a unique way to raise your business profile, gain exposure and reach a large audience – over 9,000 individuals attend concert series performances each season, drive traffic to your business, and support the arts! Adopt-a-Musician: The annual Adopt-a-Musician fundraising drive is now underway, and you can make a real difference in our community by sponsoring one or more of the extraordinary musicians of the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Choir. There are many musicians currently playing who have given decades of service, and some who were with the organization when it was established over fifty years ago! Thanks to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of these musicians, Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley are better places to live. The musicians provide: • Outstanding main stage performances at the Willson Auditorium • Nurturing educational and introductory programs • Two free Children’s Concerts each season • Engagement performance throughout the region as part of Far Afield

e are asking for your support for the Adopt-a-Musician W program because: • Less than 35% of your Symphony’s budget comes from ticket sales • Each musician dedicates significant practice time before the first rehearsal even begins! • Your Symphony consists of more than 160 instrumental musicians and choir members

Contributing to your favorite section, chair or voice, or Music Director or Choir Director is a great way of making our musicians feel especially appreciated. Volunteer: We offer a variety of fun volunteer opportunities. Contact us to become a Symphony volunteer. 22
