Diversity Makes Us Stronger

The beauty and potential of our learners lie in their diversity. We respect, value, and celebrate differences in race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, backgrounds, and experiences, as well as perspectives and opinions. As a community, we strive to be reflective and representative of the learners we proudly serve. It is through rich diversity that we will together achieve greatness.

For the month of February, we are putting a special emphasis on the Core Value "Diversity Makes Us Stronger." Below you will find examples provided from the Community Week session and from other community conversations of how your colleagues are intentionally incorporating the Core Values into their work. ~

Committing to understanding our student population

Encouraging students to share their stories and celebrate their differences
