Macleay Museum Graduation Studio
Tutor | Genevieve Murray 2015 Adaptive reuse of the existing Macleay Museum proposing a large canopy intersecting the building and landscape. The canopy cantilevers over the entry plane reflecting the movement of people through the museum. The spiral ramp sweeps visitors to the galleries above and archive below winding back and forth through the museum. Large curtains divide the gallery and exhibition spaces to provide flexibility and porosity throughout the museum. The archive animates a clash of people and objects in a forest of columns that pierce through the landscape in to the public domain.

Mock client and council meeting were set up with objections and amendment documents having to be addressed in order to progress the project to tender.
Student Housing
Masters Sustainable Research Studio Tutor | Paul Berkemeire 2013 There is a desperate need for additional student housing at the University of Sydney. This project is aimed at maximising the number of students housed whilst minimising the cost of housing to the students. The project is built on a small left over site on campus, the roof of the electrical engineering building, to reduce costs and re-adapt an existing building. The building creates a rich and sustainable living environment for students through passive design principals such as solar access, ventilation, thermal mass, water harvesting and power generation. In collaboration with Mark Szekely
Flinders Street Station Design Competition
Tutor | Ross Anderson 2012 The central location of the Flinders Street Station site made it a desirable location for a cultural precinct which included an Opera House. The Opera House has been integrated in to the existing Banana Ally Vaults which are used for performances and events. The site has been linked to the cultural precinct on Southbank creating additional connections over the Yarra River. The landscape has been folded to create a sense of intrigue for the visitors and to form pocket spaces for the train station and performance venues.
