Heretic
Two young Mormon missionaries, Sister Barnes (Thatcher) and Sister Paxton (East), arrive at the secluded home of the middle-aged Mr. Reed (Grant) one snowy evening. Invited inside, the girls are comforted by the smell of blueberry pie, which Mr. Reed tells them Mrs. Reed is preparing in the kitchen. The three begin to discuss the Mormon faith, about which Mr. Reed makes several unnerving comments and rebukes them in a threatening manner. Before long, the girls realize that the inviting nature of Mr. Reed’s home is, in fact, of a much more sinister kind. Trapped and fearing what his next move will be, Mr. Reed gives the girls a choice of

The Sacrifice Game
It’s Christmastime at Blackvale Academy, and most of the students have gone home for the holidays. Staying behind are two students, Clara (Acken) and Samantha (Baines), along with their teacher, Rose (Levine), and her boyfriend, Jimmy (Kenworthy). Unbeknownst to them, a group of
sadistic murderers — Jude (Massoud), Maisie (Welch), Grant (Johns) and Doug (Pitre) — have been slaughtering people in town. The series of murders is intended to summon a demon and, after a close encounter with law enforcement, the murderers take refuge at Blackvale, deciding to finish the ritual with its inhabitants. However, while exploring Blackvale, Maisie discovers she only had one part of the ritual. The rites they have been performing do not summon a demon but free one, and the walls of Blackvale have long harbored a demon hiding in plain sight.
