Now, in Season 2, the boys continue to figure out their relationship, while Tara (Corinna Brown, “My Murder,” 2012) and Darcy (new talent Kizzy Edgell) face unforeseen challenges and Tao (William Gao, “Crescendo,” 2021) and Elle (Yasmin Finney, “Mars,” 2022) work out if they can ever really be more than friends — all while they have exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris and a prom to plan. The cast also features Rhea Norwood (“Consent,” 2023), Sebastian Croft (“Penny Dreadful”), Olivia Colman (“Great Expectations”) and new talents Cormac Hyde and Tobie Donovan.

“Dances With Wolves” (1990)
Starring, directed and produced by Kevin Costner (“Yellowstone”), as this A-lister’s directorial debut, “Dances with Wolves” (1990) will be available to stream on Prime Video as of Monday, July 31. Based on the 1988 novel of the same name, from author Michael Blake, this film adaptation (also written by Blake) tells the story of Union army Lieutenant John J. Dunbar (Costner), who, while traversing the American frontier in search of a military post, meets and lives alongside a group of Sioux people. In order to survive, Dunbar must learn the language needed to communicate, learn local customs, and gain both understanding and respect for his fellow man. In return, the group offers him protection, and after a while, even the potential for romance, making Dunbar question everything he knows – even his own purpose. A sprawling, nearly-four-hour epic of a film, this Western also stars Mary McDonnell (“Battlestar Galactica”); Graham Greene (“The Green Mile,” 1999); Rodney A. Grant (“Ghosts of Mars,” 2001); Floyd Red Crow Westerman (“Hidalgo,” 2004); Tantoo Cardinal (“Wind River,” 2017); Robert Pastorelli (“Beverly Hills Cop II,” 1987); Charles Rocket (“Dumb and Dumber,” 1994); Maury Chaykin (“My Cousin Vinny,” 1992); Jimmy Herman (“North of 60”); Michael Spears (“Into the West”); Tom Everett (“Air Force One,” 1997) and more.
“Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures”
Six all-new episodes of “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” will be available to stream as of Wednesday, August 2, on Disney+, with more episodes releasing later this year. This highly-popular animated series based on the “Star Wars” franchise follows Jedi Younglings as they study the ancient ways of the force, learning the valuable skills necessary to become a fully-fledged Jedi Master. During the first seven episodes of the series – which released in May – viewers join as Younglings train with Yoda and Master Zia, make friends like Nash Durango, and clash with villains, monsters, space pirates and more. These new episodes are set to keep the same adventurous tone, following the young Jedis as they continue honing their abilities, learning and growing as they make their way across the galaxy. Produced by Lucasfilm in collaboration with Disney, the series features the voice acting talents of Jamaal Avery, Jr. (“The Color Purple,” 2023); Juliet Donenfeld (“The Big Show Show”); Dee Bradley Baker (“American Dad!”); Emma Berman (“Luca,” 2021); Trey Diaz Murphy (“The Will,” 2020); Nasim Pedrad (“Cooties,” 2014); and Piotr Michael (“Kiri and Lou”).
“Rio 2” (2014)
Blu is back and blue-er than ever, as “Rio 2” flies onto a small screen near you, becoming available to stream on Disney+ as of Friday, August 4. Blu (Jesse Eisenberg), Jewel (Anne Hathaway) and Linda (Leslie Mann) return for an adventure set three years after the events of “Rio,” now joined by a gaggle of new friends. Lovebirds (macaws, actually) Blu and Jewel have been happily raising their three children in the city of Rio de Janeiro, while their friend and caretaker Linda heads off on an expedition through the Amazon rainforest in hopes of documenting more rare birds. Her freedom to explore makes Jewel worry that her young chicks are becoming too domesticated, soon encouraging her to suggest that she, Blu and the kids head to the Amazon to offer their help. Unbeknownst to them, a group of illegal loggers have been causing trouble deep within the forest, jeopardizing more than just Linda’s mission – or the local macaw population. Directed by Carlos Sadanha (“Ice Age,” 2002), “Rio 2” also features the voices of Jamie Foxx (“Collateral,” 2004); Jemaine Clement (“Flight of the Conchords”); Jake T. Austin (“Wizards of Waverly Place”); Rita Moreno (“West Side Story,” 1961); George Lopez (“Lopez vs. Lopez”); Kristin Chenoweth (“Pushing Daisies”) and more.
“Reservation Dogs” - Season 3
The Rez Dogs are back and diving into one last adventure together: the third and final season of FX’s “Reservation Dogs” premieres Wednesday, Aug. 2, on Hulu. The series follows the exploits of Elora Danan (Devery Jacobs, “The Order”), Bear Smallhill (D’Pharaoh WoonA-Tai, “Only the Good Survive,” 2023), Willie Jack (Paulina Alexis, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” 2021) and Cheese (Lane Factor, “The Fabelmans,” 2022) — four Indigenous teenagers from rural Oklahoma. This season, the friends find themselves stranded in California after their trip in Season 2, and now they have to figure out a way to get back home. “After making it back to Okern, Elora considers the idea of college, Bear comes across a conspiracy theorist named Maximus [Graham Greene, “The Green Mile,” 1999], Willie Jack grows more invested in healing her community, and Cheese, well, he still lives with his grandmother who’s not his grandmother. Meanwhile, the aunties, uncles and elders explore their pasts and try to heal old wounds.” (per FX).
“Demons and Saviors”
The new three-part true crime docuseries “Demons and Saviors” premieres on Hulu, Thursday, Aug. 3. The series explores the remarkable story of Christina Boyer, who, once known as the “poltergeist girl,” is now a woman convicted of murdering her three-year-old daughter. Now 30 years into a life sentence in prison, Christina still maintains that she’s innocent — drawing the attention of a group of amateur sleuths who’ve become obsessed with getting her exonerated. As “Demons and Saviors” digs into Christina’s troubled upbringing and her alleged telekinetic abilities, it digs deeper into the questions that remain surrounding the death of her daughter: trying to parse out what is conspiracy and what is the truth. Directed by Christian Vogeler (“Danny Boy,” 2016) and Alex Waterfield (“Vice”), the series features dramatic recreations starring Alomai Addams (“Bestseller Boy”) as Boyer; Phillip-Charlie Daniell (“The Real Murders of Orange County”) as Phillip Carr; Michael Dumas (“Killer Siblings”) as Det. Mike; and Grace Diane Jensen (“Bunco Babes,” 2022) as Joan Resch.
