The time has come to say goodbye to one of television’s longest-serving characters. Ellen Pompeo (“Old School” 2003) makes her final appearance as a series regular in a new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” Thursday, Feb. 23, on ABC. Having starred in over 400 episodes of the drama, Pompeo has seen her character, Meredith Grey, grow from surgical intern to chief of surgery at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital over 19 seasons.

“The Upshaws” - Season 3

The comedic saga of one average American family continues on Netflix when Season 3 of “The Upshaws,” premieres Thursday, Feb. 16. Set in Indianapolis, the series follows The Upshaws, a working-class, blended family, through their daily lives as family patriarch Bennie (Mike Epps, “Dolemite Is My Name,” 2019) tries to find peace while raising his four kids — Bernard Jr. (Jermelle Simon, “Sojourn,” 2018), Kelvin (Diamond Lyons, “Colin in Black & White”), Aaliyah (Khali Spraggins, “Empire”) and Maya (Journey Christine, “Let it Snow,” 2019) — and balancing his relationships with his wife, Regina (Kim Fields, “The Facts of Life”), and ex Tasha (Gabrielle Dennis, “A Black Lady Sketch Show”). Meanwhile, Bennie’s perpetually unimpressed sisterin-law, Lucretia (Wanda Sykes, “Monster-in-Law,” 2005), keeps an eye on them all. Heading into Season 3, “the Upshaws continue to ride life’s ups and downs, including new jobs, bigger dreams, health struggles and some major life surprises but still hanging on with the love that comes with family” (per Netflix). Created by Regina Y. Golf fans will have the opportunity to peek behind the scenes of the sport like never before in the new docuseries “Full Swing,” premiering on Netflix Wednesday, Feb. 15. This immersive documentary follows a diverse group of professional golfers on and off the course through all the triumphs and challenges of a relentless competition season. As they take on the non-stop, high-stakes schedule of the PGA Tour, cameras follow the golfers, their families and their teams as they train for and play in The Players, The Masters, the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open, The Open Championship and FedEXCup Playoffs. Across the series’ eight episodes, fans see what it takes to succeed at the highest level of men’s professional golf. “Full Swing” features appearances from some of the biggest names in the sport alongside some relative newcomers, including Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa, Mito Pereira, Tony Finau, Joel Dahmen, Matt Fitzpatrick and Sahith Theegala, as well as Ian Poulter, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Joaquin Niemann, who have since left the PGA to join LIV Golf.

“Carnival Row” - Season 2

More than three years since its first season debuted, the Amazon Original fantasy drama “Carnival Row” is getting ready to wrap up its story when its second and final season premieres Friday, Feb. 17, on Prime. Set in a Victorian fantasy world where humans and creatures clash, the series’ first season saw the uneasy peace between man and mythological being crumble when a string of murders unleashed an unimaginable monster. Now, the show is returning to the slum of Carnival Row with former inspector Rycroft Philostrate, aka Philo (Orlando Bloom, “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring,” 2001), investigating a series of gruesome murders stoking social tension. Meanwhile, Vignette Stonemoss (Cara Delevingne, “Paper Towns,” 2015) and the Black Raven (Anna Skladchikova, “Munich Games”) plot payback for the unjust oppression inflicted by The Burgue’s human leaders, Jonah Breakspear (Arty Froushan, “House of the Dragon”) and Sophie Longerbane (Caroline Ford, “Free Rein”). With humans and fae folk divided and freedom on the line, each hero faces challenges like they’ve never seen before. Created by Travis Beacham (“Impact Winter”) and René Echevarria (“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”), this season is directed by Andy Goddard (“Downton Abbey”), Julian Holmes (“The Boys”) and Wendey Stanzler (“Clarice”). “La Cabeza de Joaquín Murrieta” - Season 1

Saddle up for the new, eight-episode Mexican western series, “La Cabeza de Joaquín Murrieta,” premiering on Prime Friday, Feb. 17. It follows the adventures of two men — Joaquín Murrieta (Juan Manuel Bernal, “Monarca”), a legendary figure also known as the Mexican Robin Hood, and Joaquín Carrillo (Alejandro Speitzer, “Dark Desire”) — whose paths cross in the middle of a violent misunderstanding. Banding together, they work to take down a common enemy, Harry Love (Steve Wilcox, “The Liberator,” 2013). The series was created, written and directed by Mauricio Leiva-Cock (“The Night of the Beast,” 2020), and also features direction from Humberto Hinojosa Ozcariz (“Luis Miguel: The Series”) and David Pablos (“The Chosen Ones,” 2015). The cast is rounded out by Liam Sharpe (“Strings Attached”), Michael Wilson Morgan (“American Grit”), Andrew Leland Rogers (“Daughter From Another Mother”) and new actors Dominic Bracco II and Becky Zhu Wu.
