CHANNEL GUIDE
WHAT’S NEW ON PRIME “Bosch”- Season 7

The Amazon Original hit series
“Bosch” is returning to Prime with its seventh and final season on Friday, June 25. This police procedural, which first premiered in 2014 and follows LAPD Det. Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver, “Argo,” 2012), returns for one more ride-along before saying goodbye to fans. With each season based off novels by bestselling American crime author Michael Connelly, Bosch works tirelessly to solve some of the hardest and most chilling cases, all while dealing with the biased and sometimes backward police system as well as the criminals he needs to catch. Creator and showrunner Eric Ellis Overmyer (“Law & Order”) co-wrote the series with Connelly, bringing the original feel of the books to life. Also returning are Bosch’s co-stars, including Jamie Hector (“The Wire”), Amy Aquino (“ER”), Lance Reddick (“John Wick,” 2014), Maddison Lintz (“The Walking Dead”) and Troy Evans (“ER”). As one of Amazon’s very first original series, the show is also Prime’s longest running original series to date.

“September Mornings”
The brand new Brazilian miniseries
“September Mornings” is set to release on Prime on Friday, June 25. Made up of five 30-minute episodes, this drama follows the story of Cassandra, a trans woman living in Sao Paulo and portrayed by Brazilian singer-songwriter Liniker,
as her dreams are halted when she learns she might have a son. Having been abandoned by her own mother, Cassandra deals with complicated feelings around having a child of her own, especially considering that the prejudice she encounters as a trans woman has been difficult enough to begin with. Dramatic and moving, the series takes audiences through the challenges of parenting, abandonment and acceptance. Starring alongside Liniker in the series are Thomas Aquino (“Thirteen Days Away from the Sun”), Gero Camilo (“Man on Fire,” 2004), Elisa Lucinda (“Women in Love”), Paulo Miklos (“The Trespasser,” 2001), Isabela Ordoñez (“Thirteen Days Away from the Sun”) and Karine Teles (“Loveling,” 2018), as well as Dante Agenju, Gustavo Coelho and Clodd Dias in their screen debuts. Directed by Luis Pinheiro (“Mulheres Alteradas,” 2018) and Dainara Toffoli (“Mar de Dentro,” 2020), the series is written by Alice Marcone (“Noturnos”), Marcelo Montenegro (“3%”), Josefina Trotta (“Darkness by Day,” 2013) and Carla Meirelles (“Blue Desert,” 2013).
WHAT’S NEW ON NETFLIX
“Sex/Life” - Season 1
What happens when your past catches up with your present? It’s time to find out, because Netflix’s new dramedy series, “Sex/Life,” is premiering on the streaming service on Friday, June 25. Based on the novel, “44 Chapters About 4 Men,” by B.B. Easton, this new series follows Billie (Sarah Shahi, “The Rookie”), a suburban mother of
two, as she goes on a raunchy trip down memory lane when her badboy ex-boyfriend (whom she can’t stop thinking about) bursts back into her life unexpectedly. With her wild-child past catching up to her, Billie needs to decide which road she’ll choose for her future. Created by Stacy Rukeyser (“UnREAL”), the series also stars Mike Vogel (“The Help,” 2011), Adam Demos (“UnREAL”) and Margaret Odette (“Boogie,” 2021).
WHAT’S NEW ON HULU
“False Positive” (2021)
Take a turn for the creepy on Hulu for the release of “False Positive,” premiering Friday, June 25. Said to be a contemporary take on the 1968 horror film “Rosemary’s Baby,” “False Positive” is a twisted
new horror film. After trying to get pregnant on their own for months, couple Lucy (Ilana Glazer, “Broad City”) and Adrian (Justin Theroux, “Maniac”) turn to Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan, “Tomorrow Never Dies,” 1997), who appears to be their dream fertility doctor. Once Lucy becomes pregnant, she begins to notice something sinister about their doctor and sets out to uncover the disturbing reality. Written by Glazer and John Lee (“The Heart, She Holler”), with Lee also acting as director, the film comes from A24 films, the New York-based company that gave the world the psychological horror gems “Midsommar” (2019) and “Hereditary” (2018), as well as the Oscar-winning film “Moonlight” (2016) and many, many more. Sophia Bush (“One Tree Hill”), Sullivan Jones (“The Looming Tower”), Sabina Gadecki (“L.A.’s Finest”), Gretchen Mol (“Boardwalk Empire”), Josh Hamilton (“Thirteen Reasons Why”) and Lucy Walters (“Power”) also star.
WHAT’S NEW ON DISNEY+
“The Mysterious Benedict Society” - Season 1
Crack the case with “The Mysterious Benedict Society,” the brand new children’s live-action adventure series, coming to Disney+ on Friday, June 25. Based on the young adult series of novels of the same name by Trenton Lee Stewart, this fantastical and fun series follows four orphans, each possessing a unique ability, as they come together at a school known as ‘The Institute.’ As it turns out, a mysterious benefactor wants the children to
use their powers to help stop a plot that could have globally devastating consequences. Tony Hale (“Arrested Development”) is joining the cast as twin brothers Mr. Benedict and Mr. Curtain, while George “Sticky” Washington is played by Seth Carr (“Black Panther,” 2018), Kate Wetherall is portrayed by Emmy DeOliveira (“Flaked”), Mystic Inscho (“A Handful of Rust,” 2020) plays Reynie Muldoon, Marta Kessler (“Cosmoball,” 2020) is Constance Contraire, Rhonda Kazembe is played by MaameYaa Boafo (“Ramy”), Ryan Hurst (“Remember the Titans,” 2000) takes on the role of Milligan, Ms. Perumal is portrayed by Gia Sandhu (“A Simple Favor,” 2018), and Kristen Schaal (“Bob’s Burgers”) is Number 2.

WHAT’S NEW ON APPLE TV+
“Central Park” - Season 2
Get ready to sing from the rooftops, because Season 2 of the adult animated series “Central Park” is com-
ing to Apple TV+ on Friday, June 25. From Bento Box entertainment, “Bob’s Burgers” co-creator Loren Bouchard, co-creators Josh Gad (“Frozen,” 2013) and Nora Smith (also known for her work on “Bob’s Burgers”), this wacky musical comedy series follows passionate New Yorkers as they fight to save Central Park from ill-intentioned, wealthy developers — through song, of course. Narrated by a fourth-wallbreaking busker named Birdie (Gad), the audience follows along as the Tillerman-Hunter family work to save the park they love. Featuring a hilarious and talented cast of voice actors, audiences may recognize the voices of Tituss Burgess (“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”), Kristen Bell (“Frozen,” 2013), Stanley Tucci (“The Devil Wears Prada,” 2006), Daveed Diggs (“Hamilton,” 2020), Leslie Odom Jr. (“Hamilton,” 2020), Kathryn Hahn (“WandaVision”) and Emmy Raver-Lampman (“The Umbrella Academy”).
“Fathom” (2021)
What’s in a whale song? That’s what scientists are trying to figure out in the new documentary “Fathom,” premiering Friday, June 25, on Apple TV+. This compelling documentary follows Michelle Fournet and Ellen Garland, two scientists, as they study humpback whale songs and social communication. A “deeply intimate portrait of science in action” (per Apple TV+), the film follows these dedicated scientists as they work through the scientific process and show the audience how much hard work, diligence, collaboration and passion is needed to make groundbreaking discoveries about the world in which we live. Directed and photographed by Drew Xanthopoulos (“The Sensitives,” 2017), the documentary is produced by Sandbox Films, Impact Partners, Walking Upstream Pictures, Back Allie Entertainment and Hidden Candy
